Cam, i know this story is a few years old, but at the end you said,”I love you” and I just wanted to let you know, we all love you back. I personally love hearing the background noises of your dogs or chickens as you read. Don’t change a thing. It just shows how real you are, and invites us into the story like we’re sitting at a campfire. Thank you. 🥰
Definitely! 😊
I agree.
Please keep your dogs and chickens in the recordings. I love hearing them. I also love hearing your ramblings and opinions, it makes each story more lively.
I listen to other story tellers on the same subjects that you talk about and most of them seam mechanical and almost lifeless.
So, please keep doing it the way you have been.
Thank you for all the wonderful story telling.
Thanks Brett...
Same! I love those sounds. The only thing better would be rain on a tin roof-but that might knock me out!
I agree , makes it feel like we are right there,so much more personal, and warming,
@@angelmiller3331 Yeah…dozing off to the melodic tipping of rain drops…
Couldn't agree more!!
I don’t think there’s a single one of us who mind your dog’s softly scruffling around while you record. In fact, I’d venture to say that most of us find those sounds to be endearing endearing. ☺️
I concur. My last dog died 5 years ago at age 16. Someday, I'll get another one.
Cam that was a great video. Anyone in there right mind, that does not stick to the end of the video. Is not a true Dixie Cryptid fan. I love all your video. Keep up the great work.
Lorchid23 I agree 100%!
Yes yes yes yes!
Yes! A CT Bigfoot story! I was wondering if there were any accounts from my home state. I grew up and still live here. I live about 45 minutes to an hour from where the story takes place. Please let me know if there are any more stories from CT! Thanks for sharing!!
You suggested a while back that not enough people comment here, but here i am thanking you from New Zealand sir.
Thank you. I dont remember saying that. I certainly appreciate your comment however!

Cam is certainly a great storyteller and respects the letters writers wishes, andhas great ENERGY .

I'm a retired truck driver. Spent 15yrs driving 48 States and Canada. Retired in 2005 due to disabilities and I miss that way of life, money, meeting new people, and especially the open roads. I wish we had story tellers as yourself to tell us Cryptid stories while driving cross the 48s. It sure would of keep us wide awake and alert. Now certain places truckers would tell stories over the CBs like the New Jersey Devil and West Virginia's Mothman and the story of a ghost of a teenage girl on prom night was killed by a truck driver in Jasper, Alabama that would jump on your truck at night while driving down the highway and look in your passenger window to see if you was the trucker that ran her over and killed her on a foggy rainy night and other stories like that.🌬
Did that happen to you with the teenager jumping on your truck?
Yes did you ever witness anything scary or unexpected??
Wow! Yikes. I'm glad I never saw her while I was driving my semi.
Hey man! I got laid off from my comfortable carpentry job when all this nonsense started up. Since then I've been driving trucks for a local farm an it's whooping my butt, however watching (listening to) your videos has kept me sane and safe on the road during 12/15 hr shifts. The longer the better and thanks for all the uploads!!
Brother never apologize for your dogs. I have six and them being noisy makes me feel at home. Love your stories. You keep reading and I'll keep listening.
I hung with you all through these wonderful stories. I love you, too. Listening to you brings back summer nights on our Alabama & Mississippi relatives front porches, listening to stories with the low hum of a baseball game in the background as I slowly, and happily, drifted off to sleep. That was at least 65 years ago. I thank you and God bless you.
Things I've learned from watching your videos: 1 - If you leave them gifts of food, they will come by at night to take it and then start leaving you gifts and they will then consider you a friend. 2 - Never shoot at it or even point a gun at it. They know what that is for and you will then be marked as their enemy.
I find it fascinating that they left piles of stones as a gift in return for the food n fruit scraps😍👍 loved These stories
You forgot part 3, if you stop feeding them due to move, death, or just stopping, they get mean, and revengeful.
@@lindabergman3127 I love that too - makes me wonder a little bit if we have been interpreting things the wrong way at times. Perhaps throwing rocks at a person's home or camper can also be a "request for delivery" or a "please share your food with me request" "Here is your gift in advance...." :-)
On a side note, I don't know if it is true or not as I have not tried it yet, but have heard crows will also leave "gifts" for you if you keep putting food out for them ...
@@thathobbitlife I would never feed them. They know where to find their own food.
@@thathobbitlife How can you possibly know how they’d feel if you’re disappear? Unless if the first being that ever disappeared on them I’d expect they’d think it normal, like a chance meeting, or aunt who no longer lives nearby.
On a Saturday are you kidding me, anytime is a good time for Cam and Dixie Cryptid, here we go, good for you Cam I’m glad y’all had plenty of tight lines.
Cam, when I was a kid one of the families in the neighborhood had a huge front yard and a good size backyard that over looked a large lake. Since his yard was so big he had a good size tractor for the gentleman that did their yard to use. The father of the house would put a trailer on the back of the tractor and go around and pick the kids up and take all of us to the DQ and buy us cones in the summer. He was a great guy. It was illegal to cross a couple busy streets with us in the trailer but he was wealthy and contributed a lot of money to the police force. They’d just wave at him and he also got us out of trouble when we got a little older and we’re using our heads! The story of going downtown in the horse drawn wagon reminded me of those great summer trips to the DQ! Thanks, Cam, love you and your work brother!
Haaaaaah the good ole times,we're the days, huh ?
People think Arizona's nothing but desert and cactus, but to be honest there's alot of pines and high country. I have my backside planted in the white mountains of Arizona as I write this comment, my wife works at a ski resort so yes it snows as well. This story took place about 90 minutes from me, and I've seen sign where I hike. The way it's pronounced is Mo-gee-on. Mogillon rim is VERY beautiful ponderosa forest and has history of a "monster" as well as the "fire in the sky" abduction.
Good catch. Also, Payson is "pay son," not "pie son." I know folks in the area say Prescott as "press cut," not "press COT," but that one's not as obnoxious. :p
And yeah, that is some beautiful country.
@@mr_e_monkey8836 I have two brothers that live just north of Prescott, Chino Valley- Paulden and Dewey. I know the exact area up on the rim above Payson as you'd have to drive past it on the way to my home coming up from Phoenix. Man I dig this channel!
Leaving Phoenix last year I visited Travis' phone booth in Heber/Snowflake, and the wood carving place that supplied the green statues for the phone booth.
Arizona is FILLED with Alpine forests and wilderness. One of the most beautiful and diverse States in the entire country. I love ALL of AZ from the deserts to the forests and mountainous volcanic snow capped peaks. It's absolutely GORGEOUS. And not to mention one of the seven wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon and of course, Sedona, one of the most beautiful places on the planet. And I'm not from AZ, I'm from Oklahoma, but have relatives that live in AZ.
I like your vids. While listening to the stories Thank. You
I'm one of those trucker's you spoke of Cam. Really love your channel, thanks for what you do 👣👣👣

Thank you for my award for “ The Dixie Cryptid best person in the world”!! I’ve been working really hard on this for a long time. This goes to show that practice really does pay off. I’d like to thank my mom and dad, as well as my beautiful wife. I’d like to give special recognition to you Cam for you undying devotion as the narrator and being my personal Bigfoot coach. The hard work has finally paid off! last but not least I want to thank BIGFOOT, Without him this award would not have been possible. His almost prank like behavior and unending sneaky habits have inspired me to listen all the way to the end of these videos. I thought about giving up several times but I new I could make to the end. I just couldn’t disappoint you Cam or the elusive creature we know as Sasquatch. God bless you all!
😂
You earned this award. Enjoy it. LOL...
Oh this guy is a HOOT!! Loved your acceptance speech buddy! 😆🥰😁
Great stories. Thanks to all who contributed. Welcome back Cam, we missed you! Glad you had a good time.
Hi...my folks retired in Payson, AZ and my dad and I spend a lot of great father, son time fishing on the rim lakes of the Mogollon Rim, it’s pronounced “Mug-ee-on”. Just had to say that because I mispronounced it once and my dads neighbors jumped all over me! I guess it’s a real matter of pride there😁. Northern AZ is some of the most beautiful country I’ve ever been privileged to be in ever. My dads property was the last house in town and we could walk out his back gate and be in over 100,000+ acres of national forest. The entire area is teeming with wildlife and I used to walk for hours without seeing another soul. I never saw anything unusual, I just had to make sure I passed on the correct way to say “ Mogollon”, Thanks for the videos...I do believe ,
Absolutely great content! I rewound and re-listened several times just to soak it up and hear every word! ~K's wifey
Listening to you read the stories, I close my eyes and put myself into the story. Your voice and your accent and everything about your storytelling, even though it's just reading, put me into that world and takes me away.
Keep doing what you're doing!
I have spent some time four wheeling in AZ and camped in remote areas. I have never seen a bigfoot or any prints, but have had that feeling of being watched up there while searching for arrowheads. Super creepy feeling.
I love hearing about the fishes you caught. You're a gem.
So down to earth. Sounds like the kind of decent lad, you'd probably go for a beer with. Great narration too.
Love the story telling ...interesting .
Love ya too cam!!!!

Killa Kali -> Safe truck journeys, & keep your eyes open for "Mr. Biggie", The Big Guy (or Gal), along the way..
I love the respect you give to everyone it really is a breath of fresh air
You don't have to go that far outside the big city to catch sight of one of these. I've had a few possible encounters, but in late May 2015, I had a sighting of a reddish-brown one, crouched down behind a woodpile, watching me from about 80 yards away while I played Native American flute and chanted in Cherokee.
After about 4 minutes, it stood up and revealed itself to me from the waist up, gave me a hard look and then quickly moved to it's right and out of sight.
And this was in a heavy wooded area between the C&O canal and the Potomac River, just outside of Washington D.C.
Since then I've talked to other people who have had sightings along the Potomac River and C&O canal.
I understand that the late researcher John Greene once said during the 1970s, that Maryland was one of the hottest spots in the country for activity.
The word is they follow the waterways, and with all the rivers, creeks, and streams running into the Chesapeake Bay, I can believe it.
Mark Francis Nickens -> John Green of BC was my Dad's fave Sasquatch investigator. I wrote to him, after Dad, a teacher who taught about BF, had passed from cancer, & I was delighted that he wrote back to me!! A great guy, Green was..
Mark Francis Nickens -> Am curious what you were chanting in Cherokee, that caught the BF's attention.. I believe they might know the Native languages, still..
Some supposed ancient Native American words I learned while listening to some information on the subject. I don't want to say the whole phrase on an open public forum, but the 1st word in the chant is 'Momo' which is also a termed used for Missouri monster, followed by some other words.
I think the word 'Momo' is more universal than just for what comes out of that region, because I know a well-knowned Ohio BF researcher named Dallas Gilbert also used that word to call out to them followed by other Native American words.
I also spoke in English to the woods just giving thanks.
Mark Francis Nickens -> Thanks for that info.. heard a story on YT where the Sasquatch spoke to a NW Native hunter "in the Douglas language", so that had confirmed my thoughts on their knowledge of the Native languages..
Great show. Thank you Cam for sharing these with us. Also thank you to the folks that sent their stories in for us to hear.

"If you go down to the woods today,
You're in for a big surprise.
If you go down to the woods today,
You better go in disguise.
For when the ground is cold and covered in snow,
You'll find yourself in the lair of the Wendigo.."
Good night and good luck!
🚬👓...
You don't know how true that is! I got the biggest surprise to find all the structures (described in the second story) in the woodland, next to my village in Scotland!
I used to sing a song like that when I was a kid called the Teddy Bears' Picnic. I think I like the windigo one better.👺
Great poem.
@@scotfoot steve on how to hunt channel shared a sasquatch story from a woman who lives in Scotland. She bought her dream home to retire in and found out they were all around the area, messing with her .
@@edemontfort9482 I did too! I had a book about the teddy bears picnic and it had an actual record in the back. The book was at my grandparents house and I loved it and always wanted to play the record. I think ill stick with teddy bears over the wendigo😆
After I got an ad on my phone containing an obscure word I had used in a conversation the day before, I got rid of my smartphone.
What?? That would scare me. Better put a piece of tape over your camera lens too.
That is artificial intelligence or AI monitoring everything we do & say with annoying ads to follow - better put tape over your tv camera too! Isn’t modern tech just wonderful? Just to sell us s....t we don’t need?
A friend at work was telling me about a trip she had just taken to Israel. The next day I was getting nonstop ads for cheap flights to Israel on my phone. Our phones are always listening & recording.
The smart phones drive me nuts. This happens constantly, and I'm not a shopper. Online nor offline. Groceries only. A friend made a fb post saying mint and chocolate together is awful. I commented to disagree and question the ability of his taste buds, and as soon as I went back to the newsfeed, boom... Next two ads were mint chocolate.
Wtf
I had friends over for dinner. The iPad was open for a recipe but had been black for a couple of hours. During a conversation, SIRI suddenly woke up and asked a question. Freaked me out.
The Connecticut story made me so homesick. I lived similarly. Childhood has never been the same. Those innocent kids had no idea the danger they were in...lol. I too love the endearing sounds of your dogs and chickens. Don't change a thing. I got my 14-year-old, who has always loved cryptids, hooked on your stories. I just love your show and even in the fall of 2021. Keep them coming. 🌲
Really great stories. I agree with the writer, I hope one day this will be common knowledge and acknowledged by the public. Thanks for sharing these stories. Give your puppers lots of hugs. Have a blessed week. ❤
Thank you for the long video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I listened while doing some cleaning around the house. This definitely made cleaning much more enjoyable. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Thumbs up No.148. Like one of your story submitters, I too was born in 1952. So, as a nearly 68 year old man I am a little uneasy about being told how much you love me. But, I think I understand as I love you too as a brother in Christ; at least I hope you are a brother in Christ. Either way, there is no chance that I would bail on you until the stories were done. So, thank you very much for all the great entertainment that you and your submitters provide to this old man.
Dudes get uncomfortable around me because I hug them a lot....haha. I cant help it. If I say I love someone I mean it LOL...thanks for hanging with me brother.
Well, you're 68 by now; I just turned it two days ago, Dec. 31. Guess I'll have to change my YT moniker. From a brother in Christ and Bigfoot fan. I wonder where these figure in the plan of Redemption?
Thank you to every truck driver out there, you provide our country with everything we need and you never get thanked. Keep on truckin!
I've been going back a listening to some of the older stories again and realized one of the reasons I really enjoy listening to you. Do you know how good it feels to hear someone say "I love you". I know you don't know us but for those of us who are alone in the world it makes us feel like part of a family. I always make sure the last thing anyone I care about hears from me is "I love you" because you never know if you will ever hear from them again. Thank you for caring ❣️
