Here is a quick rundown on the install and a review of these thrust arm monoball bushings, results are probably very similar for other models, and I'm sure the install could be similar as well. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
Played this at 1.5 speed and it still sounded slow. Might want to write a script in advance?
Maybe you should bump it up to 5x ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yea I'm definately just going to replace the whole arm. That looked like a pain lol
Do you have dinan sway bars?
H&R
Wow I installed the powerflex bushings and they are solid in every direction it makes the front end so noisy it drives me crazy time to upgrade to these forsure
Interesting to note! Did they call for any sort of lubrication... these are as quite as a mouse.

Great video. I've installed these on my e39, and my F10. One of the BEST mods ever. I feel you on the "softness" of the newest BMWs, which suck! I've owned Bimmers since the mid '80s, so I've personally experienced the evolution of the 3 and 5 series.
Exactly!!! What he said! ⬆️
I took my thrust arm nut off with an impact gun. I'm thinking about getting these mono ball bushings for my 645ci. Now that it's been 7 months how do you like them?
I would still consider these the best bang for your buck when it comes to suspension upgrades. It will remain at the top of my list for all my bmw’s. I still love it.
Did you torque the bushing bolt at ride height? I just installed mine yesterday and im hearing a new clunk coming from my front end.
I have little carts that support the wheels so that I can drop my car on the lift and tighten suspension pieces up at right height for those bushings that need to be done that way. However, it’s been a while, but I believe these monoball bearings are free-floating from the inner race compared to the outer race and so it should not be required to tighten at right height if that is the case. I would double check your endlinks or anything else that you might’ve touched, I have chased suspension noises for a while and it’s always something silly that I forgot to tighten.
Awesome job and review. Yeah, I had a busted arm, that I replaced last year. Ended up breaking the retaining clip that holds that nut in place to remove the arm. Could have really used your lift. May have to look into this suspension upgrade in the future.
I forgot to mention the brake pedal is a lot more solid as well too! And the lift is a life saver, loool.
great video mate ! thanks !
Fuck yeah, good news. Just ordered for my E60 550i.
Nice car - I have a custome with one 6 speed, very nice
What kind of difference did you notice in handling/steering/oversteer/etc?
At the end of the video I give my driving impressions. Quick answer: best suspension mod on this platform hands down. I love it.
Besides the bearing rubber sleeves
Are there any rubber in the monoball
Cause we’re would the tension on the frames weight go from stopping the car
No other rubber sleeves, it transfers 100% of the load to the subframe, that is what gives you the 'feel'.
Why are you always making me spend money???????
#1 upgrade I will do to any of my BMW’s from here on out!
Did you have anti roll bar on your car? My question is do you have a hydraulic motor on the original anti roll bar? And how did you removed it, what to do with the hydraulic line?
I do not have the hydraulic controlled sway bar. I have an H&R sway bar in there now. There are ways to delete the hydraulic lines.
@@BimmerHausPerformance is there’s any chance you can send a link or something? Cuz I’m having trouble with it. Like I don’t know what to do with the pipes
How many miles on your car? I got 39k and I get a shake when applied brakes on my. I am thinking this might fix vs rotors.
Mine had around 85k when I did the conversion - 39k seems very low to get that shake. I only got the shake when breaking hard around 100mph +. Either way, you'll get benefits from this even if it doesn't fix your shake!
Seems like a rotor problem but check out your rotors before buying new ones
what`s the PN ?

@@BimmerHausPerformance how do you like them so far, any cons?
@@geraust43 I am still loving them!!!
@@BimmerHausPerformance i got mine already installed but one thing I noticed is you’ll feel a lot more the bumps
Any downside ? Is this make the ride feel more noisy and harder ?
Yes, it does increase NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) but that's exactly the point here, more feedback. There is always a trade off. For me it's worth it... if you want it to float like a caddy... then no it's not worth it lol.
Thanks for doing this review.
Best suspension upgrade I have done
No more vids??
Nah, no one watches. Insta is easier.
