My favorite is Eugenie's tiara, it is stunning and it suited her so well. Made her green eyes pop.
I think that is the one MM wanted and was told no as it was already promised to Eugenie.
@@Bridget410 It would not have suited MM as well. It would look great on Catherine though. That would sting a bit too, added bonus;)
Same here, Eugenie's tiara is stunning and suits her look to a tee! 💜
I'm a huge fan of emeralds...in fact, my engagement ring is an emerald because I too have green eyes.
Love her tiara. It looks great with her hair colour and her updo as well. But honestly, I loved her entire look on her wedding.
Mine too!
Princess Beatrice's wedding was small compared to all the others in modern times...but so very CLASSIC & Royaly Romantic. Not only did she wear the same tiara as the Queen on her wedding day, Bea's dress was a rework of one of the Queen's favorite gowns....making Bea's wedding the MOST sentimental of them all. She has a romantic heart & we all hope her marriage will be as long-lasting as her grandparents!
It was also the last grandchild the queen attended and it must feel good to see your grandchild in your dress
So sad it was during COVID.
She did well to have one of Queen Elizabeth's dresses reworked (it looked awesome) instead of wearing her mom's wedding dress 😆
I fell in love with Beatrice's entire look that day. The tiara matched the dress and the combined history of the two just gave me the warm fuzzies.
Absolutely, spectacular combination of history, style, and meaning- loved it!
I agree. The tiara echoes the lines in her dress beautifully. I hadn't noticed that it was the first princess of each generation to wear. Her borrowed dress from the Queen was so wonderful. The few changes to it to make it less an evening gown to a wedding dress was done so well.
But her eyes are too...
@baotrang1635 what???
She looked gorgeous didn’t she. I loved the dress and the tiara to honour her Grandmother.
Princess Eugenie’s tiara perfectly fit her look with the color of her eyes, hair color, dress. It just stood out perfectly
I wholeheartedly agree. She didn't wear a veil to show scar on her back from surgery and that made the tiara bounce!!!! It was perfect.
The Swedish cameo and Eugenia’s are beautiful, but nothing beats the amazing sparkle of the diamonds in the Spencer tiara! As I’ve gained an appreciation for the quality and clarity of diamonds, as opposed to just the size, it became undeniable that when Lady Diana wore that tiara, it was truly a work of art. The Spencer brides are lucky ladies!!
Although his daughter didn’t wear it-maybe not able to take it out of England.
@@carolinebrown539 Neither of Charles Spencer's two married daughters from his first marriage wore the Spencer tiara, but then Charles wasn't at either of their weddings either. I believe he is estranged from a few of his 7 children. I think the last time it was worn was in 1989 when Charles married his first wife Victoria. He married his third wife in 2011 just weeks after Catherine and William were married.
@@singtweetypie I should’ve added the caveat that it seems to be reserved for those Spencer brides who are still close with/not apparently estranged from the Earl’s family. I believe the last one to wear it was his niece, Celia McCorquodale, in 2018.
@@NETX2018 Yes, you are right. I remember reading an article that his niece wore it, and forgot that bit of info, but had remembered than neither of his twin daughters had worn it, and was sad to see that they are estranged. I know that Charles and his 3rd wife bought a large cottage/home on the water in the Muskoka's in Ontario a couple of years ago. My family used to have a cottage in that area (a popular spot for those in Toronto and GTA). The area has been a popular haven for celebrities and in this case an aristocrat.
Diana’s tiara is undoubtably the most beautiful tiara I have seen n the brides. The tiara of Diana’s sparkled so beautifully like no other tiara.
Sophie's wedding tiara has been changed/ remade since and looks a lot better, more balanced. Also for Catherine's wedding I thought the Halo was appropriate. It's was subtle for a none aristocratic to wear, but was also a big nod to history being owned by 2 Queens and being worn by a future Queen.
Agreed.
It also was perfect for her gown. Gown was sleek and needed a simple sleek tiera
Waity katy is trash
Definitely
I like the way Diana's tiara sparkled. And the Aquamarine tiara is stunning.
Diana's sparkled so beautifully along with the sparkle of her veil. It always impressed me. Now, did that Tiara go back to her brother, Charles for his dtr or any one of his own many brides.
Princess Beatrice pairing her wedding dress with the Queen Mary's Fringe could Never have matched more beautifully! The dress is a continuation of this regal piece.
She looked a fresh young blood Princess Bride
My favorite will always be Eugenie. She lookes like a princess, she is so beautiful and the dress and the tiara just suits her so well. Her makeup… a total underrated magical princess.
Crown Princess Victoria with the Cameo tiara is my absolute favorite….the amethyst tiara she has worn is another favorite…both are stunning.
Beatrice looks amazing and all the sentiments behind the dress and tiara just make it extra special
Eugene's look is my all time favorite. I'm partial to emeralds though. I would have loved to have seen the sapphire in MM tiara instead of the diamond. What a different look that would have been. ❤ Thanks Brittany
Sapphire would have completely improved that look.
It’s been so long I almost forgot about Diana’s wedding tiara. It is my favorite wedding tiara by far. It is absolutely gorgeous as it sparkles brighter than all the others. I like my bling 🤗
Oh helllll no!!! How could you forget!? It’s the best.
Me too.
Diana wisely wore it. I wonder if her sisters encouraged her to do so. I hope so but I have a feeling Diana probably dreamed of wearing it and so she did. 🌈
@@KourttneyLbut her dress was a disaster, so rumpled as she got out of the carriage..... so very disappointed.
@@susaneglinton2184 I don’t care about that. It was still beautiful. She couldn’t control that. People fault her for something that she couldn’t control.
I loved Princess Diana’s tiara. Stunning
She wore the Spencer tiara belonging to her father's family
@@kathrynriggs2489yup. It’s beautiful
@@KourttneyL I hope maybe Charlotte will be allowed to wear it for her wedding someday.
@@kathrynriggs2489 that would be amazing 🤍🤍
It definitely sparkles brighter than any other Tiara. I just wish she’d had half the gown on as it swallowed her. Diana was too tiny for so much gown. And, it was a crumpled mess. She’s kind of rocking, likely due to weight, as she walked down the aisle. It was too heavy & too much for her. Without the Spencer Tiara she would’ve been lost.
Crown Princess Victoria's wedding day look is my all time favourite wedding look. Not just the tiara, but the whole look. The dress, veil. The lace veil is really my favourite part. But the tiara is definitely a wedding tiara befitting of a future Queen. None of the other future Queens wore tiaras that scream Queen in waiting.
I totally agree with your opinion about the complete look of crown princess Viktoria on her wedding day. The lace veil she is wearing is a family heirloom and it’s the finest brussels lace. It was first worn by princess Sofia of Nassau at her wedding to crown prince Oscar of sweden in 1857.
@@jonasviking9768Thank you for this information. She looked beautiful and knowing that the lace is also borrowed makes it more special.
But I cannot help but to wonder how nervous she must have been wearing such a delicate and valuable lace.....I mean it’s over 160 years old and completely impossible to replace.
She also looked so very happy, radiant.
Her mom wear the same tiara when she married the king of Sweden in 1976, crown Viktoria wedding was the same day but 34 years later
Crown Princess Mary’s veil was the most important part of the Headware to show off anyway. The veil is a very special one in the royal collection, made for the Queen’s maternal grandmother and passed to her only daughter, Queen Ingrid, who decided that it should be worn by all of her female descendants. Queen Ingrid’s daughters and granddaughters have now all worn it. And special permission was given to Mary, as the future Queen, to wear it for her wedding.
"Plain" can be exquisite. Remember Carolyn Bessette's (bride of John F Kennedy Jr.) wedding gown? That dress had ZERO embellishments, no sleeves, no corset, no seams---ah, but it was cut and tailored to perfection!
Thank you for saying this! “Plain” seems to be a misnomer in this case for modern, minimalistic design. I loved the Duchess of Sussex’s wedding look, because although the dress, veil, hair, and tiara were sleek and minimal, what then stood out was her bright eyes and beaming smile. I wonder why the extended critique of this look and other snarky comments about the Duchess in other videos on this channel. Hmmm.....🤔
@@dinayerex1646 this UA-camr does not like the Duchess of Sussex. She tries to sound neutral but the micro aggression is real.😊
Ugh. I thought she (Carolyn Bessette) looked like she was wearing a full-length slip on her wedding day. Extremely underwhelming. I like things that are simply but exquisitely cut, but her wedding look was a gigantic fail to me. Just my opinion, of course.
@@ShannonR1969I don't think a Givenchy dress could be a fail.
@@dinayerex1646I think the criticism, at least from me when I talk about her wedding look, is how ill fitting the dress was, and how messy her hair was.
If all of that was more polished, it might be my favorite royal wedding look ever.
Since i saw all of the tiaras the Emerald tiara that Eugenie wore. It looked beautiful on her. Large but not too large. The center emerald just popped. Gorgeous.
It was perfection!!
The Spencer tiara is just breathtaking!
Eugenie’s is definitely my favorite. The emeralds look beautiful against her dark hair ❤
I'm not a fan of MM, but I love Queen Mary's bandeau tiara. I love the inlay of diamonds in the very unique art deco shaping of the piece. There's nothing that I don't like about that tiara. On the other hand, while I can appreciate the history surrounding it, I do not like the Cameo tiara at all. Cameos are pretty, but I want a tiara to sparkle and so that one doesn't do it for me. I would have placed the Cartier Halo tiara a bit higher on the list because it's very pretty and so many of the Windsor women have worn it beautifully. However, I did think on Catherine's wedding day that perhaps she could have worn a larger tiara. Still, the Cartier Halo is a lovely piece. I agree about the sparkle of the Spencer tiara - that had enough sparkle and then some to satisfy my love for bling. And I'm not a huge fan of the Kokoshnik style of tiara, but I do love the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara. The inlay of diamonds is fabulous and really sells the piece for me. I do love emeralds, but I do prefer facets to cabochon in my gems. Thank you for this episode, Brittany!
I love the Duchess of Sussex’s tiara. Elegant and fit with her gown perfectly
But her hair is messy 😂
I think Meghan did want to wear the tiara that Eugenie wore. I am thinking that Eugene had previously asked the Queen if she could use that particular tiara and when Meghan wanted it, the Queen said it was already spoken for. I have always thought that is what caused the “tiaragate” issue. What do you think of my speculation?
Tiaragate??
I think you are absolutely right, and after Eugenie and Jack had to move their wedding date by almost six months to accommodate M & H, there was no way that QEII would have let that happen to either of her granddaughters. The Grenville tiara is worth £10 million! The centre emerald is 93.7-carats! It is absolutely stunning and looked beautiful on Eugenie, as did the fringe on Beatrice. They both looked beautiful on their respective wedding day/s.
@@KourttneyL”tiaragate” = the meltdown Harry had saying “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets!” when Meghan didn’t get the tiara she wanted.
Eugenie's tiara is my favorite and really stands out with the emerald stones. Beautiful!
My personal favorite is Princess Anne in the Queen Mary Fringe. She looked so elegant, regal and beautiful and the way she wore it with her hair up was my favorite look. I think Princess Anne is very beautiful and elegant, inside and out, and understated.
I’d forgotten about a Princess Anne’s wedding. You’re right! She was gorgeous & so was Zara! They both looked amazing on their Wedding Days! Princess Anne is beautiful but few ever mention her looks. I think she may have shot Reporters down for doing so and after a while they stop trying. Once Diana was on the scene, everyone rise were forgotten in the eyes of the Press which is sad as there were many other beautiful women.
Josephine's tiara! Ugh I was so entranced by her during my French classes. That tiara is a phenomenal piece of history ❤❤❤
Out of all the tiaras I've seen for royal weddings, my favorite is the York Tiara, worn by Sarah, Duchess of York on her wedding day. The design is stunning!
It is lovely...and it was purchased for her by the Queen so that will stay within the family. I wonder which daughter will inherit it?
I loved Sarah's tiara too. In fact, her whole wedding day look was gorgeous. She often struggled with fashion, but I really think she got that day perfect.
@@singtweetypie Along with the York Tiara, a diamond necklace and matching earrings were given to Sarah. I predict Beatrice will inherit the jewels in the future.
Me too, my favorite as well
The best wedding tiara hands down is one that wasn’t even listed…. Princess Margaret in 1960! That tiara was literally the star of the show! The tiara was so over the top, her wedding dress was made so plain to let the tiara shine!
The Lover's knot tiara that Princess Diana wore alot, and now Princess Catherine wears quite a bit. Just gorgeous!!
The Lover's knot tiara has never been a wedding tiara.
@kimberlytyrcha5930 since I'm not as fond of any of the wedding tiaras, as I am the "Lovers Knot", I chose to reply with which tiaras was MY favorit! Weather it was worn for a wedding or not.
I didn’t appreciate the rest of the wedding look, but Meghan’s tiara is my favourite. I also love Eugenie’s.
Princess Diana in the Spencer Tiara is hands down the most beautiful! I was hoping that Katherine would have been given the opportunity to wear it even though it belongs to the Spencer family. 😕 My 2nd favorite is the Emerald Bandeau- and I think you’re right about that being the one Harry’s wife wanted to wear.
Princess Eugenie's tiara is my favorite. I also liked Markle's tiara even though she was a mess. I've always loved Artdeco.
Plus Queen Mary added a lot 2 the Royal Jewels thank goodness Queen Mary is my favorite, that is until Princess Catherine becomes Q💙👑Queen. Oh and what a happy day that will be. I just hope I live to see it. ,💙🇬🇧👑🇬🇧💙🐦
Oh, I always think of that. I hope I'm still alive to see Catherine, Princess of Wales become Queen. I love her so much!!
Princess Eugenie's all the way but I thought what really brought it together were pairing emerald and diamond earrings with it. In the same way that Catherine's earrings matched her tiara, that makes both look much more cohesive and thought out.
(Long comment alert!). The Danish RF has a lovely wedding tradition: all of the daughters wear the Khedive of Egypt tiara on their wedding day. CP Mary didn’t wear it because she married into the family. I expect that her daughters will wear it as brides. I’m a bit surprised that this tiara wasn’t in this video. It ranks high on my list of royal wedding tiaras. The Greville Emerald Kokoshnik (Eugenie’s) and the Spencer tiara (Diana’s) tie as my favourite. Eugenie’s might actually edge out Di’s simply due to its having coloured stones (green is my favourite colour) and that it was a huge deal to see that kokoshnik being worn. To my knowledge, it had never been worn publicly by a royal woman so it was a Very Big Deal to see it on Eugenie’s head that day. I had a similar reaction to Meghan’s tiara because it also hadn’t been seen in decades; it was last worn by Queen Mary in the early 1950’s. Sadly, that tiara is now associated with Meghan so it’ll probably never see the light of day again. I think that’s a shame because it’s a lovely Art Deco piece. On another note, let us hope that Lady Louise does NOT wear her mother’s wedding tiara when it’s her turn to be married!!! The British RF vault has stacks of tiaras and surely Uncle Charles or Cousin William could give her a better option.
I also liked what Lady Mary Chatto did for her wedding tiara
Agreed. Lady Sarah’s wedding tiara is often overlooked but it was a creative, sentimental and lovely tiara. It suited her and her wedding gown perfectly.
Just looked up that Khadive of Egypt tiara and I think you are 100% right. That is pretty amazing!
I enjoyed this so much, Brittany! Thank you! I am, (ahem), older now, but, started my love of Royal fashion when Lady Diana first came on the scene. She was 2 years older than me, and I followed her for every outfit that I could find! Back then, we cut out photos and put them in scrapbooks! 😉🙄 I have always loved the Spencer tiara! My second choice would be what Princess Eugenie wore on her wedding day, (loved her whole ensemble PLUS how she dressed the wedding party). Beatrice also looked stunning in her choice! I love the ‘Cameo crown’-just not on an actual person’s head. Lol. Have a lovely week! ❤👸🏻❤
I loved the Queen Mary’s bandeau tiara. The art deco style is one of my favorites. It’s unfortunate that it was worn by someone who would go on to disparage the Royal Family. Not a fan of Crown Princess Victoria’s wedding tiara. It was just a bit too much for my taste but I appreciate the history of it.
Me too. Not fond of that cameo tiara. It looks like a castle turret on her head.
@@maxinahunt8652 A castle turret! 😂😂😂
The Queen Mary Bandeau is an art deco piece. It fits perfectly into its period. It also looks stunning with the sapphire central stone. Meghan really had the wrong hairstyle and dress for the tiara. And, really, both Meghan & Catherine had limited choice when it came to choosing wedding tiaras. What was loaned from the royal collection was up to the Late Queen.
Exactly. I’d read once the Queen was very ‘selfish’ about loaning her jewelry. I think it was only the last couple years she really began to open her jewelry to others to be worn. Sarah never got much of anything and Diana didn’t receive much either. I never saw anyone wearing the beautiful tiaras, which were mainly worn by the Queen. No one really had access until the last few years Catherine did but it was mainly a few earrings, a couple necklaces & a couple brooches but no additional Tiaras. I never saw Sarah wear anything that belonged to the Crown. She has her Tiara & that was all. Anne probably didn’t have much access either. There wasn’t much sharing among the U.K. Royals. I hope Camilla & Catherine rectify that situation.
@@misplacedsouthern1236i feel thats definitely the case with the lovely Sophie, for years all she had was that ugly wedding tiara and yet she deserves so much more .
I really liked Princess Eugenie's tiara, it matched with her earrings and brought out her eyes.
More recently I love Eugenie's, but from the past the sparkle of the Spencer tiara was beautiful!
I liked MM's tiara. It was definitely the highlight of her look. It feels very Art Deco, which is a great aesthetic. It's a pity this was not used as inspiration for everything else she wore.
I also loved Princess Beatrice. I think that that Queen Mary Fringe Tiara went beautifully with her dress.
I do agree about Catherine's wedding tiara, a bit disappointing, but traditionally used by younger royals. It is probably light and easy to wear.
Thank you for this lovely video. Have you considered doing something similar, looking at earlier generations?
I agree! I adored MM’s tiara! It was the only truly beautiful thing about her wedding outfit. I’m really miffed that as she wore it, it’ll probably never be cracked out again 😒
Agree! Unfortunately, the messy hair , ridiculously inappropriate veil and ill- fitting dress diminished and overshadowed that lovely piece of jewellery.
I liked Megnut's tiara too since it was the only thing good about her wedding look, until I learned the story behind it. Apparently, Megnut and Harry were rude to the queen and staff and demanded it be given to them on the spot. The problem is royal treasures had to be escorted around with security and of course it need to be planned beforehand. Megnut and Harry had insisted that it be given on the day and they even got mad at the queen's staff when she told them it wouldnt be possible. They were so rude that the Queen had to step in. Can't believe them.
For me, the fact that Markle wore a floor length white dress and a ridiculous veil to her second wedding was tacky. Queen Camilla showed how to do the second marriage look perfectly.
@@lizbignell7813 correction: 3rd wedding. Megnut has been married and divorced twice before Harry already.
Princess Eugene's was my favorite tiara but her whole weeding look was my favourite .
Thank you for putting together this fun video. I love seeing the tiaras and dresses!
You are so welcome!
Of Meghan Markle's wedding day, I actually liked the tiara with its Art Deco design. I did not like the dress, the veil, the shoes, the hair, or the makeup. I also liked the small bouquet she carried. That's it. Flowers and tiara, the rest I felt was ill-conceived.
🎯 My thoughts exactly!
Just a comment. Firstly I do agree with you. However, I remember the day and the reports were all so positive about everything. I believe everyone was so genuinely happy for the couple and the RF. I don’t believe she had a single negative comment. I don’t believe anyone noticed the poor fit and wrinkles. Fast forward a few years and she has revealed her true sickening nature and we pick her wedding look apart.
@@maxinahunt8652 : I remember many people, at the time of her wedding, NOT being impressed with Meghan’s dress-especially the fit of it. She could have worn anything, and she ended up with this!?! However, I thought that she looked very pretty, overall. The bandeau tiara suited her well, imo.
@@donnaleach8119 lol. Maybe I’m just naive. I didn’t look at so much detail and everything seemed so rosy at the time. Good to hear some people were looking more closely.
@@maxinahunt8652 : 😉 I DID think that she looked pretty though. ❤
Queen Letizia looked stunning on her wedding day at 18:30 ! Looks like HMTQ left her most beautiful tiaras for the blood princesses Beatrice and Eugenie! Eugenie's one brought out the green in her eyes, it was so enchanting. Beatrice's one is my favourtes too because of its history with HMTQ (who looked so happy and giddy on her wedding day 22:04 ) and the Princess Royal. I agree with your top 3 tiaras!
I absolutely love the Danish Ruby Tiara and the Enerald and Diamond Tiara worn by Eugenie.
Princess Ingrid Alexandra's tiara was not bought for her. It was given to her by Princess Ragnhilds family (King Harald's sister). Princess Ragnhild got the tiara when Crown Princess Märtha's jewelry was split between the children after her death. Her family basically returned it as they won't ever use it.
My favorite wedding look overall was Eugenie's. She looked absolutely stunning! The dress was perfect and the tiara complimented her so well.
For me, it’s Crown Princess Victoria and then Eugenie’s tiara. The only tiara that sparkled looked to be Diana’s. 🇨🇦
The swedish cameo tiara is well over 200 years old and is one of the oldest tiaras still in use in any royal family in Europe. And to quote her royal majesty queen Margerete of denmark: “the jewelry is measured in generations rather than in carats”.
The cameos in this pice also tell the story of Amor and Psyche with make it even more fitting for a bride to wear it on her wedding day. The cameos in this tiara are not standard shell cameos but cut from agate and as such just as valuable as the finest of cut gemstones.
It's still hideous though😂😂😂
It is certainly not the most beautiful and flattering tiara out there and the shape of it present a challenge for a modern bride to wear it. But I would not call it hideous. It was after all created by Nitot, the official court jeweler to emperor Napoleon. Nitot was undoubtedly one of the greatest artisans in his trade at the time. The cameo tiara was commissioned by Emperor Napoleon for his first wife Empress Josefine in 1809 and was at the time the absolutely most fashionable piece of jewelry worn by any royal lady in Europe. Perhaps it’s not the most beautiful tiara but I think it’s a remarkable piece of wearable art. And I can’t help myself but I just love to see such an old and important piece still being in use. And that we get to see it worn instead of being displayed in a glass display case in a museum.
@@jonasviking9768 i agréé with a lot of your observations but i still think it's hideous....anglo saxons and vikings made much more beautiful pièces...every master craftsman has an off day/ brain fart....that's ,bat i put this tiara do,n to🥺😬😂🤮🤮🤮
There surely are some really exquisite anglo saxon and viking jewelry.......but to try incorporate those pieces into modern day evening wear would land you on the worst dressed list. Every period in history has it’s own aesthetic. Clothing, jewelry and hairstyles are meant to compliment each other, to make a harmonious look.
In order, I loved Eugenie’s entire ensemble and that she did not wear a veil, just gorgeous! I also loved queen Letitia’s entire wedding ensemble. Next, I really favor Diana’s tiara, being a fan of the heart motif, and finally, Queen Elizabeth’s , Anne’s and Beatrice’s tiara is my favorite for any grand occasion. Just loved that Beatrice’s dress was the Queen’s, how special. Charlotte will be an absolutely stunning princess bride, and wearing this tiara will exceedingly special for all.
She will surely wear it as its traditional for first born daughters
I think Mette-Marit's tiara suited her exceptionally well. And of all the tiaras featured in this video I liked the Danish ruby tiara best as it looks like a flower wreath. 🤩
My favorites are Princess Di and Autumn Phillips
my personal favorites are the lost romanov diadems. they were magnificent.
I love the Spencer tiara just because of the sparkle. Your sound is so great on this video! It makes your voice sound so soft and nice.
Great video Brittany, more please? I was surprised at your fondness for the cameo tiara of Crown Princess Victoria. To my mind it is the most beautiful and unique. I thought it was not well liked. 😊
I liked Catherine's, Zara's and Beatrice's in the BRF. I was surprised by Crown Princess Mary's wedding dress it was strange.
Mary’s look was very strange. I’ve often wondered who encouraged that particular look-a hair dresser, the Queen, Step Mother, or perhaps new sister in law? Whoever, Didn’t do her any favors as they mid guided he on the most important day of her life (to that point). I’d love to know who was responsible as I felt sorry for her.
Maybe you can do a part 2? The Greek and Monaco have some very beautiful wedding tiaras
Or also showing some of the wedding tiaras from back in history. Black and white photos to not always show off jewels very well, but I'm sure that you would manage.
Sorry Brittany, my favourites happen to be lower on your list. I loved Mary of Denmark & Princess Catherine I would say probably due to them bring delicate & not too large. Did enjoy your coverage & commentary. Take care
I think Princess Victoria in the cameo tiara is my all time fave. Not just anyone could pull that off.
I agree. It’s stunning
YES!!! My favorite is the cameo tiara! Stunning, absolutely gorgeous!!!
Crown Princess Mary's dress was the most beautiful dress I think I've ever seen. Stunning.
Meghan's looked like a fancy head band.
I am loving your vlogs about tiaras ( and other things 👍☺️ ), it’s fired up a new interest in me . I’m enjoying finding out about their histories , fascinating stuff. Thanks for doing all of this for us ☺️.

I love the fringe and Letizia's tiara, and the Spencer tiara for the sparkle and details which I didn't remember.
The Cameo Tiara is by far my favorite. It's just so different and unique from all others.
I just hate it. I really dislike cameos
Beatrice’s wedding look is amazing! I also love Crown Princess Victoria-the veil! And Crown Princess Mary dress, I like that so much, traditional abd timeless.
Poor Sophie. Her wedding tiara looks chintzy and cobbled together. She deserves more and better. Love Sophie!
While I absolutely love your main channel, I get so excited when you upload a new video to your fashion channel because they’re fabulous. The tiaras are so interesting. You provide so much information and I have to agree with you. I really hope that Princess Charlotte wears the fringe tomorrow when she gets married. I really hope that you can do more Videos about the various tiaras and when they’re worn and who’s worn them. Maybe who wore best because back when the queen and Margaret were younger they did so many tiara events. I wish that they bring those back. Great job Britney.
I love the Queen Mary bandeau, I'm a sucker for anything art deco. She didn't appreciate what she had been allowed to borrow.
Eugenie and Catherine. The tiaras just suit them so well 😍 😊
My favorite was The Spencer tiara worn by Princess Diana❤
🙌 Cameo Tiara 👑 is also my fav. Her whole wedding look was good. Love the unique neckline of her dress as well.
Diana's and Eugenie's!
Great video as always! Love the history and detail! Thank you❤
I have to give my number one spot to Princess Eugenie and the Grenville(sp) Tiara. Her whole wedding look was fabulous
Queen Mary’s bandeau is a beautiful art deco style. And I think Megan’s look was incredibly chic.
Loved, loved, loved this video Brittany! Before I saw this video I would have voted for Princess Eugenie’s emerald tiara as my top choice. But after getting a close-up look at the cameo tiara, it stole the show! So romantic and unique and amazing history. Thanks for the show!
It is incredibly beautiful!! I love that some of the other royal families provide us with some great closeup shots of their tiaras! It really is quite amazing! Thanks for watching!!
Mette-Marit was my all time favorite wedding look. Tiara was small simple but silk tulle dress and veil were ethereal even the cascading flowers seemed fairytale like.
I love the last picture with the bride and groom plus all the kings and queens together. What stunning tiaras they all had on. :)
I wish Catherine was allowed to wear the Strathmore Rose tiara. How appropriate would that have been! Its absolutely gorgeous and has a lovely height, and sparkle to it. It’s still more low key than many of the queen’s tiaras, but a bit more grand than the halo.
It's not that Catherine was not allowed, she didn't want to wear a tiara in the first place as she wanted to wear fresh flower in the form of a coronet but was persuaded so I think she chose a simple tiara as a compromise
I don’t think that’s the case, she was wearing a tiara for her wedding no matter what. For king Charles’ coronation she wanted to wear something other than a tiara.
My fave has to be Princess Diana’s. The sparkle and how it caught the light was spectacular!! It completely complimented her beautiful smile
👏🏻👏🏻💖 this was an amazing episode 🤩 i actually agreed with you on these (you can tell you thought about it [so we didn't have to 😂😂] ). Excellent work! (This is a rewatch)
Princess margaret the poltimore tiara was beautiful and complimented her style perfectly
I agree that Crown Princess Victoria's tiara is the most spectacular and Victoria is such a gracious and elegant lady. Where I disagree is on Princess Madeline. I think her tiara and look far exceeded Queen Maxima, Princess of Norway and many others. She is breathtakingly beautiful and her tiara made her gorgeous eyes sparkle even more on her wedding day. Her wedding dress was fit for a princess but it wasn't overly ornate. I love both princesses.
My favorite is the York sisters. I especially like Princess Eugenie but I like Emeralds.
I don’t think disparaging the understated tiaras is in any good taste.
MM wore the Art Deco tiara, which is one of the most beautiful pieces EVER.
Sophie's disastrous wedding tiara was redesigned a few years back. I think the Danes were cautious and bought Mary a tiara because of what happened with Princess Alexandra. She was gifted one of the family tiaras at her marriage and she kept it after her divorce from Joachim. Their marriage was breaking up when Frederick and Mary married.
It’s good to wear a small tiara for such a big, long day
@@carolinebrown539 I paid no attention to Sophie's tiara. My eyes were focused on the simple elegance of the dress and, especially, the tastefully designed pearl necklace.
How come Princess Marie ( wife of Prince Joachim) got a lovely tiara ?
Eugenies is beautiful
Eugenie was beyond beautiful that day. Besides Diana I've never seen a more radiant stunning, excited, sparkling bride. Her eyes! The emeralds! Even though Diana and Catherine were PERFECT on their big days, Eugenie HERSELF shone. It was like she was glowing from the inside.
I don't agree that Catherine was perfect on her wedding day. I actually think her entire wedding look was bad. A royal bride's wedding gown and tiara is supposed to reflect her royal status and the venue in which she is marrying. Her wedding look didn't do that. Her dress wasn't grand or regal. She was marrying the future king in Westminster Abbey. Her gown should've reflected that. It didn't. Something that nobody ever mentions about her wedding look is that the boobs were pointy. That was awful! Her train was too short for Westminster Abbey. So was her veil. Her bouquet was too small for a future queen. Her hair was limp.
My favs are the kokoshnik styles. The Spencer is gorgeous and it’s brilliance is dazzling. Queen Mary’s fringe is another favourite. Maxima wears them the best - she was born to wear tiaras 😊.
I was never that interested until I started watching your videos.I recently purchased Tiaras by Geoffrey C. Munn - love reading about the history of the pieces.
Very nice presentation!
Eugenie's stands out even more because she did not have a veil. The tiara was the star.
Eugenie's is by far my favorite...I am hoping that she is allowed to consider it hers for future royal events.
It annoys me greatly that MM get to be even mentioned among all these wonderful women. She did not deserve to have that tiara on her head or been given a royal title.
Love love love, Beatrice’s wedding look, my favourite by far.
Eugenie and Beatrice are the winners for me! The emeralds complemented Eugenie’s coloring so well, and the history and tradition behind Beatrice’s are such a sweet touch.
Question, why don’t we see more yellow gold in tiaras? What is the primary base metal used?
Historically colored stones and pearls are mounted in yellow gold but diamonds are mounted with silver. The white metal mounting of diamonds was meant to increase the sparkle and clearly of the stones. The base of most important pieces predating 20th century was made of gold. From the beginning of the 1900’s platinum and white gold have been the most used metals for settings of diamonds.
I can understand why Meghan would have like to have worn the tiara the Princess Eugenie used for her wedding, it would have lifted Meghan wedding dress and veil.
I loved Princess Diana's tiara. So beautiful and sparkly. ✨️
My favorite is the one Meghan wore.
