Have you got a GP Replicas in 1/12 with driver figure? I'm waiting for 1/12 Gilles Villeneuve's Ferrari 126C2 from San Marino 82 and just wanted to know if its going to have that same '1/18th scale' detail for the face, including that washed out peach-pink colour. Thanks again for posting. Please keep it up.......

Thank you for watching and your encouragement. I do not have the 1/12th version nor one with a driver figure in 1/12th from GP. I have them from Minichamps in the scale. Like you I am curious how they will look. I think there is a 1977 312 with Lauda for sale with the figure now but I am waiting to see what gets released. That one I believe has a dark visor so less of an issue. In 1/18 I definitely like the driver, in 1/12th I am a bit more indifferent.

    Can the wheels rotate?

No, none of these models do. They are adult collectables not toys.

@@GBURGE55 Many "Adult collectables" have wheels that rotate...Exoto, spark, Autoart, TSM, minichamps

@@markusbarr6671 I have all of those makes except TSM. As They're all fitted to bases(apart from Exoto), the wheels don't need to go round, as I said, they're not toys (unless you want to play with them on the carpet!) Ignoring my 2500 collection of 1/43 models where none of the wheels move, & the bulk of my 1/18 Ferrari F1's & road cars are BBR,GP Replicas & Tecnomodel, (36 models in total) & they don't rotate either!👍

@@GBURGE55 BBR's F1 cars do have rotating wheels (at least the newer ones, no clue about older models), and it's simply a matter of taste.

@@GamerPro0510 you're right, I do believe that it's just a matter of taste. Since I made my last comment I double checked on the BBR's that I have & they're glued into position. I have around 450 1/43 BBR's & none of those move either! As far as I can see only on CMC models do the wheels rotate (probably due to the fact that EVERYTHING moves on them, including fuel filler caps!) Static display models are not usually designed to be pushed along. It would be nice if the manufacturers gave customers an option of rotating wheels. Each to there own I suppose 👍

It's a nice looking model but they are way overpriced. For that money they should have rotating and turning wheels aswell as a removable engine cover.

Yes GP is expensive and for sure I wish some of these mid modern models had openings. They do it on some of the 50/60’s models and they could do it on this one. Just take the plans from a Tamyia model. I saw an advert on their website where they are collaborating with FT Model??? to do a fully opening 1981 Ferrari 126CK. Not a model I particularly care to pay up for opening parts. Its surely similar to the ‘79 Ferrari 312 by Exoto. Rather GP produce the 1982 Ferrari 126 or ones from the 1990’s. At any rate it will surely be twice the money 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️ Thanks for watching and your input.
