My grandpa was 18 and didn't get his until he was in his 50s. The day he got his, he drove to our house yelling "I LOVE AMERICA" and showing us pictures he took with other immigrants that were there with him. It was such a proud moment for him and it was at that moment in time where I realized how much love trumps hate. In Wisconsin we have a similar thing to the bridge celebration on the 4th. There's a bunch on venues that get put up on one bridge and then people can watch the fireworks from there or in the city on the sidelines where ther grass is. But it's basically just a celebration downtown and they close the bridge for all the celebrating...her's looks bleak and kind of ominous tho lmao
The bridge thing is "pre-game" for most of us. However, OKC is made up of several other smaller communities that have their own fireworks show and you can see all of them from that bridge. The big shows don't start until dark which tends to be around 9-9:30. And yes, Oklahomans love 4th of July. We tend to be very patriotic here. It's more than just blowing sh*t up, although......some REALLY dig that aspect 😂

Then a year into it I see issues, I hate it, it’s toxic and I want to leave. Although there are terrible environments, I needed to come to terms with the fact that I kinda became the problem. They became terrible because I didn’t set boundaries. Instead of leaving my current job I’ve started to speak up. I guess we all deal with our own toxic cycles.

Might be a southern thing because I recently moved to Indiana and everyone looked at me crazy when I was talking about it. When I was little we would get there about 2 hours early because the bridge would fill up quick.

BPD is a disorder. It doesn’t get “triggered.” Maladaptive behaviors get triggered. I don’t think she’s been diagnosed at all, otherwise she’d be using the language of the method of treatment for BPD.
I don't agree. I mean I have bpd and live with it 24 hours a day. It is a struggle but, I do find certain things or people or situations, trigger it and make it feel worse. And bpd is rife with maladaptive behaviours like, self h**m, overspending, binge eating, promiscuity, completely isolating yourself from the world etc. But I do agree with you in regards to wondering about the validity of her diagnosis 🤔 she may have it... but I have my doubts... and I can't quite put my finger on the reason why though 🤷🏻♀️
Amber should start doing Dialectic Behavioural Therapy if she’s serious about wanting to get "her BPD" under control. DBT is the gold standard treatment plan for BPD. I've done it myself and paid out of pocket for the whole thing, no insurances or anything, via telehealth online. ALR could telehealth a service in another country and get a cheaper, quality service thanks to the strength of the USD and regulatory standards on other country's healthcare I paid $275AUD every week for DBT treatment plan and completed it over the course of a year, both standard and RO-DBT. It drastically improved my life in respect to Rejection Sensitivity (me from ADHD rather than BPD) SO if ALR really wants to get serious about improving her life and preventing these problems she gets "from [her] BPD", then she should put her money where her mouth is and go through DBT, talk to the internet about her experience going through it, and prove she wants to change

Anyone who feels they are a little large won’t wear horizontal lines. It makes you look even more broad. Vertical lines make you appear taller and no wider than you already are.
I completely disagree with her and her lifestyle but I’d love her to just admit she doesn’t mind being 500lbs. Not saying she WANTS to be 500lbs but she doesn’t mind it.
I'm a bigger girl, and I will wear horizontal stripes as long as they hit certain places. I've had less luck with vertical stripes, because if the material clings, even a little bit, it can create a very unflattering wave 😂 It's all about cut and placement

Her relationships remind me of my issues with all the jobs I’ve had.
Each job to me was toxic af and I left. New job at the beginning was amazing wonderful and nothing like the last place. Then a year into it I see issues, I hate it, it’s toxic and I want to leave. Although there are terrible environments, I needed to come to terms with the fact that I kinda became the problem. They became terrible because I didn’t set boundaries. Instead of leaving my current job I’ve started to speak up. I guess we all deal with our own toxic cycles.

I’m from Arkansas on 4th of July it is common to sit on the bridge to watch fireworks! Might be a southern thing because I recently moved to Indiana and everyone looked at me crazy when I was talking about it. When I was little we would get there about 2 hours early because the bridge would fill up quick.

BPD is a disorder. It doesn’t get “triggered.” Maladaptive behaviors get triggered. I don’t think she’s been diagnosed at all, otherwise she’d be using the language of the method of treatment for BPD.
I don't agree. I mean I have bpd and live with it 24 hours a day. It is a struggle but, I do find certain things or people or situations, trigger it and make it feel worse. And bpd is rife with maladaptive behaviours like, self h**m, overspending, binge eating, promiscuity, completely isolating yourself from the world etc. But I do agree with you in regards to wondering about the validity of her diagnosis 🤔 she may have it... but I have my doubts... and I can't quite put my finger on the reason why though 🤷🏻♀️

Amber should start doing Dialectic Behavioural Therapy if she’s serious about wanting to get "her BPD" under control.
DBT is the gold standard treatment plan for BPD. I've done it myself and paid out of pocket for the whole thing, no insurances or anything, via telehealth online. ALR could telehealth a service in another country and get a cheaper, quality service thanks to the strength of the USD and regulatory standards on other country's healthcare
I paid $275AUD every week for DBT treatment plan and completed it over the course of a year, both standard and RO-DBT. It drastically improved my life in respect to Rejection Sensitivity (me from ADHD rather than BPD)
SO if ALR really wants to get serious about improving her life and preventing these problems she gets "from [her] BPD", then she should put her money where her mouth is and go through DBT, talk to the internet about her experience going through it, and prove she wants to change

the 4th is a pretty big holiday in Midwestern states. when my brother and I were kids we got to light off a lot of stuff because my dad ran the local firework stand, and he was a big fan of them too. now that we're all adults and dad is getting older we always light stuff off. dad loves it, I love the family time and the atmosphere.
