She even volunteered on her days off so that she could go to work with Destiny... Destiny probably looked forward to Ambers days off so she could go to work alone and attempt to enjoy her day but then Amber decides to go to work and not get paid just so she can watch what destiny was doing... I don't know how anyone can be with her. She wants to be with her partner 24/7. That works for some couples but some ppl need their own time to breathe..there are sooooo many things about Amber that are just blah...
This was a different job, when they were in Florida Amber "volunteered" at a care home a few hours a week and stalked Destiny there the rest of the time. While filming vulnerable residents, some of whom had such severe Al-time-ers they didn't even remember their own families, but they remembered her of course 🙄🙄. In Kentucky she was doing a basic data entry job, where she would constantly call out sick and hide in the bathroom for hours. Then quit to full time train wreck but demanded Destiny spend lunch break on facetime with her etc
Dude yes! Cuz it’s not healthy to only be with your partner 24/7 like wtf is gonna happen when you have to be somewhere with out them

Been with my girlfriend for 6 years, I love her to bits and adore spending time with her but I do enjoy 'me' time (which tbh boils down to chilling on PlayStation and eating junk) 😂

Then had to make it a point the other time when she went and bought things (I am not shaming the dollar tree nor am I shaming doing this for others especially those more vulnerable or less fortunate if you’re able to do that) and had to make it a point to talk about in her videos. Like she didn’t do that because your life is content as a vlogger, which would be likely be her ‘reasoning’ behind it, she did it for the asspats she would get from online because she did something good for another person. It’s one thing to share that type of stuff because I don’t think all people who do are inherently doing it are doing it for the wrong reason, however, SO MANY DO/WILL just for the praise and to show how ‘kind’ and ‘generous’ they are even building audiences off of such content when the bottom line is you should do for others BECAUSE YOU WANT TO NOT BECAUSE YOU NEED VALIDATION AND PRAISE. Which throughout her UA-cam career she goes out of her way to tell the audience, often having the partner or ex partner there knowing this is being filmed, and brags about the things she does for them and I guess as ‘proof’ has them agree with her or talk about it in the video and it boils my blood seeing people weaponize what should be kindness, like that. 🫠🫠🙃🙃

There was a Christmas where Amber made Beck open all their gifts early because Amber got too excited and you could just tellllll that Beck hadn't wanted to do it. Amber was all "I didn't FORCE her, obviously" and Beck was just like "....yeah....". Amber out here literally ruining Christmas.

100% once Amber was able to start acquiring loads of money she used that to her advantage to keep people in a relationship with her. Financial stability is very attractive and that was really the only thing she brought to the table besides food.

I am now 31. I used to buy myself needless things! Clothes, cooking items, etc. I reached a point where it clicked. I ask myself am I really going to use this, or do I already have something at home that can do the same thing. I used to be really bad about clothes. There is so much waste in the world, and clothes is high up there.
I am trying to teach the kids, holidays are not about how much crap you can get or even given. We get one or two nice things. That's it! I even ban people from buying ME things. I prefer to go do something. Make a memory.

I only accept gifts that can be used and run out (nice soaps, perfumes, scented candles, chocolates, wine, etc) I hate clutter and don't want my space overflowing with junk that'll just end up collecting dust but I'd be too guilt-ridden to throw out.
She didn’t buy Destiny’s love. She tried to. Amber strikes me as the type to get genetic testing done to find out if she was an organ donor match to Destiny and then make her sick so her liver or kidney, and then always say “You can’t leave me because I saved your life.”

@@GarlicBread791 a bit of both. There was a House episode where one partner in a lesbian couple needed a transplant. Her partner gave it to her. The doctors told her that the sick partner had planned to leave her. The donor said she knew and that’s why she donated so now she can’t. This is what made me think of it and I just took it to the next logical conclusion.

Set up context, I am a cis woman, 5'7, and physically disabled being a cane user from age 15 onwards. Back when I was 17, I think, I was introduced to a guy through a friend as he was willing to drive us home from the city because she couldn't cope with the extreme sunburn she was dealing with (we're Australian, it was as bad as an Irish person unprotected in the middle of our Summer. She is not Irish). It was December and he invited me to a casual New Year's event. I declined and said I already had plans, and he let it go. I didn't have plans, I just have anxiety and this was a stranger who invited me to an unknown location alone. He dropped me and my friend home and I figured that was it.
I have an usual name and within a day he found and proceeded to message me on Facebook wanting to get to know me more. I believe his introductory message was "haha, found you" but I can't be sure as that account was blocked a long time ago. He started messaging me more and I thought we were creating a friendship.
Time rolls around and we've hung out a few times, predominantly through group activities, but he starts inviting me out for adventures as just us. Things like the cinema and he'd pay for dinner. He also offered to help me get my hours up to get approved for my driver's licence, as you need 150 hours of supervised driving in my state. I've since turned 18 by this point and life is moving on. I'm at university and have a myriad of issues because of my disability.
He starts asking me to stay the night at his place so we can go to various group events that start early. Usually I would decline but eventually I relented as "well he's given me so many free trips and dinners out, it's only fair that I do some things in return". Eventually I agree to stay the night.
While heading back to his place after the movie we were watching he asks me if I'd like to be his girlfriend. I respectfully declined as I was not attracted to him, and said as much, stating my Asexuality clearly. He agrees and the matter is dropped. We head to his place and he shows me around, I meet his parents who were present and spoke little English, and we headed off to his room to play games and watch more movies.
It gets late and he shows me to the guest room, a few doors down the hallway. I thank him and wish him goodnight.
Some hours later he enters the room and climbs into the bed and states he couldn't sleep and would it be okay to sleep in the bed with me. I was concerned but agreed, as I couldn't think of a way to say no, and still guilty that he'd done so many things for me. However I gave the condition that he was not allowed to touch me during the night, to which he agreed. I stayed awake and alert the whole night while he slept.
In the morning he woke up stiffly and we headed to the group event. On the way he stated that I wasn't allowed to sleep in the spare room when over because he didn't sleep well. I simply nodded stiffly, and felt on high alert until I could finally get dropped home. At that event he bought me a plushie, stuffed Alpacaso.
Every time I needed to go somewhere and couldn't face handling public transport because of my health, he would be willing to take me. He'd take me out to dinners, go to events, watch movies, all the while paying for everything. I'd then feel like I owed him so would agree to go to his house and stay the night.
The second time I stayed over and was made to stay in his bed, I was once again on high alert and didn't sleep a wink. At night he placed his arm on me while he slept, pinning my waist. At one point he tried to bring his arm up to my ribs, but I gave a shove and got out, hiding in the bathroom for a bit. When I returned he was awake and looked concerned that I was gone. I told him that he had touched me, and not only that but he had touched my ribs which had been a Big No from the moment I met him (and was a rule that everyone had to follow). He apologised and claimed he didn't realise what he had done in his sleep. He promised not to do that again. I returned to the bed and he went back to sleep. His arm returned to pinning my hip, but it didn't move further. I stayed awake the whole night.
After another year of this, he asked again one morning if I would be his girlfriend. Once again I declined, citing my Asexuality leading to a lack of physical attraction. The routine of being plied with gifts until I would agree to stay at his place continued. I was still trying to finish my hours and get my own license.
Finally at 20, I had my license and a person who I felt attracted too. That person and his girlfriend helped orchestrate an elaborate plot with another set of friends to rescue me one night from that guy's place. I was whisked away in the middle of the night, having silently collected my things while pinned under his arm, pretended to go to the bathroom by doing my now common elbowing of his abdomen to release me, silently picked up my things, silently crept through the house, silently opened the door and closed it behind me, ran like hell across the driveway, threw my stuff over the fence to the waiting getaway car, climbed the chain link fence, and my rescuers drove like the wind to get away. 5 minutes into the drive I get frantically texted, messaged, and called by him. I ignored all his messages. Our getaway car returned to their home and I slept in their spare room, unaccompanied all night. I was later messaged by mutual friends asking what had happened as apparently that guy had been "so anxious [he] vomited" and was asking mutuals to contact me and find out what happened.
I escaped without ever getting R***d by him, but according to other victims of his apparently it was a recurring pattern of behaviour. He would use gift giving to make women and then-femmes feel like they owed him, then xyz.
The point of my tale here is that ALR using excessive gift giving, to the degree shown, is what I would expect of that guy. Gift giving can be malicious, and the rest of a person's actions should be scrutinised. And always remember that even when you're terrified of the worst: there are people who believe you and want you to be safe. If you possibly can, reach out for help. Keeping it in makes it fester and you feel awful. I never deserved all those sleepless nights fearing for my safety and my life. No victims ever should.
Amber is not mature enough still to this day that ignoring negativity….would solve the problems. This is why people think she enjoys drama….kind of like a teenager you know lol. She hasn’t grown up. I think that her partners stop caring when amber kept complaining about negativity.
They’re bullying me!….so? Ignore it. You’re an adult. Lol but amber still has to grown up and cares …so much about what people think to this day and always takes the bait that it almost seems she’s having fun. 😅 and thus makes her partners …I’m sure hella uncomfortable.
As a daughter of a negligent narcissist who buys peoples love, sometimes you just accept that the only use people like that have in your life is to be an ATM
