Fun Fact: Peter Sam was formerly named Stuart, along with Sir Handel being Falcon, and they use to work on the Mid Sodor Railway with their mentor, Duke (who we all know was too old to be purchased, was stored away in a shed that overgrown for years) they all reunited, when the Clergyman and Arlesdale trio searched for him, and rescued the old engine.
I really hope they don’t stop making the narrow gauge engines. I love how they are basically using same “oversized N-Scale” concept like tomix did, only in this case they are portraying them as narrow gauge H-O scale models. Plus, these guys make it possible to integrate H-O and N scale layouts into one, which is a really cool idea and makes the layout setup ideas even more complex and diverse.

@@thattrainkid1648 no they are in N-scale size. I don’t think Bachman would invest in Z-Gauge because I think that would be astronomically expensive. Plus, I think they already are hitting their size limit with n-scale models since those are pretty fragile too. Plus imagine if they tried making T-Gauge trains. 😅

A new Bachmann model of Peter Sam!?! This is cool. This is like the animated version if you ask me. His Giesl funnel is more accurate than the model series version and his new whistle got twinned.

The Bachmann Peter Sam model is amazing in any way possible the details are flawless, they had amazing amount of rivets at the back, and every single aspect of it it's just awesome to look at Thomas & Friends Bachmann at its finest.

Apparently Bachmann will be releasing Sir Handel next year. Let’s hope they also release Duncan in the future.

You could get Pecos 009 Prince or Princess as Duke. I highly doubt Bachmann will make a classic series character, that remained in the model series ever again. Regardless of the rolling stock.

That is cool, they look so good. Next they need to get the Arlesdale locos released and have them running on Z gauge, if that would be the equivalent of 15” minimum gauge.

I think the reason why Peter Sam is so fast is that he has his rear axle driven. I don't own one, but I saw someone took the body off and revealed the trailing axle is geared to the motor.
