It is the great shame of Russia that men like this are destroyed for thinking and caring. It is why they have failed over and over to become a great people.
As a group they are very self centered, which makes people easy to manipulate. We have the same problem in the US, so it’s not a unique trait. The more people think of the common good, the more courageous they are. The more people only think about themselves, the more they are willing to give up in order to feel comfortable.
@@sarahpalmer411 Thank you for sharing that insight. I will ponder it tonight as I sleep. I will work to put your words into action in the morning.
You got one person here who is not well educated talking nonsense. He talks in generalities which means he really has nothing to say.
He just supports opposition, whatever that means.
He never defines what the "opposition" is against. Says he'd discuss hot issues? What issues? He mentions no at all issues. Not one.
Navalny was not a CIA asset. Don't you know this Danill?
Putin has an 80% approval rating by western polling. Someone with an 80% approval rating does not need to put his political opponents in prison or kill them, nor kill journalists, nor anyone else. The main stream media always call him a dictator. How is someone with an 80% approval rating a dictator. The Democrats think Biden can win with less than a 40% approval rating. So where are the elections not adding up? Not Russia.
The west made Navalny out to be some kind of real opposition. He was not. If Navalny was given Novichok he would have been dead.
He went back to Russia when he didn't have to knowing he would be arrested and tried, after he was given a suspended sentence for fraud charges. They wanted him in jail so bad they gave him a suspended sentence. He wanted to be a martyr instead of taking care of his wife and children. And he had close to zero percent support of the Russian people.
Navalny continued his opposition in prison. What do you think happens in US prison when you simply don't serve your time? He brought his death on himself for no reason. The man had psychological problems.
And people with these kinds of psychological problems are who you go out and find.
@@sarahpalmer411Spot on, Sarah! That's exactly why Putler can do whatever he wants.

It’s only very young, the idea that an opposition is important. Look, many still can’t see that a democracy must have freedom of opinion and speech. Russia has never had either. So now, opinion is building. But it is so very young. It will most likely not be in the next 30 years that we see a viable political freedom in Russia. Why? The opinion there’s a need for it is new born. It takes time to grow. Even those on the other side of the world still hold positions of defending Putin. Ev3n though they left. They still support him. The opinion is so young, that it’s hard to say if it will even live.

Power to the "Uncle"! It's refreshing to see a Russian that is not brain dead or unafraid to speak the truth.🫡😎
very rare
It's like TV series for you? 🤡
In the heart of Russia, bold and true,
Stood an uncle with courage anew.
Unafraid to speak against the tide,
With fervor in his soul, he defied.
In whispers and murmurs, he dared to proclaim,
Against oppression, he lit the flame.
With every word, a call to the free,
A beacon of hope for what could be.
But in the shadows, danger lurked,
As the Kremlin's power hungrily worked.
They silenced dissent with ruthless might,
Crushing voices in the dead of night.
Yet still, the uncle's spirit soared,
His words like thunder, truth ignored.
For even in silence, his message rang clear,
A rallying cry for all to hear.
Then came the day when silence fell,
The uncle's voice, a tolling bell.
His bravery cost him dearly, alas,
As tyranny struck with a fatal gas.
But from the ashes of his demise,
A fire ignited, reaching the skies.
His sacrifice, a spark of revolution's birth,
Fueling the flames of freedom on Earth.
In streets and squares, the people rose,
With courage like the uncle's, they chose.
To stand against oppression's might,
And reclaim their voices in the fight.
For in the legacy of the uncle's name,
Lies the power to break oppression's chain.
Though his voice may be silenced, his spirit lives on,
In the hearts of the brave, the battle won.

??? How?
He voiced the usual situation of the opposition in Russia. They were all silenced, which is why he decided to say positive things about Navalny. And so he is a communist, Russians are afraid to say anything, even if they have nothing to lose.
Only brutes and psychos are allowed. Gorbatchëv was a good willing man who did the best he could for his people - namely ending the Soviet intervention in Afghanistan, which was a pillow fight compared with Ukraine, and encouraging people to buy private land - and is scorned and maligned to this day. However, many people miss Stalin. Forget, they're all unhinged.
Imposiible,Putin's regime won't allow him to do it.Remember Mikhail Gorbachov.
@@duartesimoes508It always shocks me to hear from russian people say that,Gorbachov brought disgrace to Russia, completly ignoring that all the soviet system was against him,in order to keep their political privilegies. But most of common people there blame only Gorbachov.Ignorance in Russia is a big matter to deal with.
In principle this guy has got it correct. Every form of government needs to have a realistic and honest 'opposition' party(s) to 24/7 hold the ruling regime to account. Hold the ruling political regime accountable for their actions, point out their bad decisions and to represent people that happen to disagree and hold a different political opinion. People must have the power to freely express themselves without feeling they're going to be jailed for doing so. Putin, for the past few decades, has been actively violently suppressing Russian 'opposition' to his dictatorial rulership and killing Navalny was a dastardly evil example!
Is it already known that he was murdered by the Russian state?
Why to kill Navalniy if Russia wanted to exchange him? Navalniy was working for foreign governments, that's why he had troubles.
@Imaxxd22 shut up kremlin bot. Get educated
Using nerve agent on a peaceful opposition person! That's about as evil you can be.😡
In Russia, almost the entire "opposition" is sponsored by Western countries in the name of the interests of these very Western countries. How can such an "opposition" be entrusted with power over a country whose fate they have absolutely no interest in, but only in money and the interests of foreign countries? 80% of Russian citizens who vote for Putin see the true motives of this "opposition" very clearly. The fame of Western hypocrisy is now firmly planted in the heads of all supposedly "not free" people.
Intelligent and brave man.

In the US hundreds have been imprisoned for simply walking around the capital on Jan 6.
The US and Britain have Julian Assange in prison for five years for exposing war crimes. And they want to send him to the US to be killed. Gonzalo Lira was murdered in a Ukrainian prison for engaging in journalism.
There is no real freedom of speech in the west which Covid proved.
In the US they are trying to imprison a former President and the man who will be the 2024 candidate fo President.
The Democratic Party in the US did not allow any challengers to Biden. They also rigged the elections in 2016 and 2020 to make sure Bernie Sanders did not get the Democratic Party nominations and that was proven in court.

Sometimes I've heard greater truths from enemies than close friends. In trying to hurt, they actually helped because they told the truth. Russia needs more of this. Thinking people; people who ponder more than the shallow voice of Putin's regime. The truth is not for the fainthearted, but it does have the ability to set one free.
... but, in Russia, most of the vociferous opposition have died under dubious circumstances, are in jail, or have fled to exile abroad. People don't become political slaves by choice. Fear of the consequences of speaking ones mind is tangible when one can, and people have been, arrested for holding up a blank piece of paper or uttering the word "war".

Surely, Russia needs more people with such mindset and wake up to fight for their own rights.
You want to speak, but your wife and kids also need you home at the end of the day. They can make life very hard for you if you speak. Plus a lot of the older generation are used to the USSR when neighbours would snitch on neighbours for saying anything against communism.
If you believe in natural selection, likely most men like this were killed in the past. Not that I believe in Russians being "orcs" but it is possible they are more likely to either believe in conformity or avoid being the nail that sticks out.
A dictator knows he must eliminate all internal opposition. A dictator also knows he must still have an opposition, or more accurately an external 'them and us' opposition. This 'them and us' opposition provides a dictator's propaganda department with the 'negative them' and the 'positive us' comparison opportunity. With a dictator, it's always the external someone or something else that is to blame for any and all shortcomings of a dictatorship.
I feel so much when I watch your videos with people like this man! How distressed he/they must be to speak the truth.
It is somehow easier for me to see the apolitical interview, or the older generation that just believe the propaganda.
