Easily, and still, my favourite production tutorial creator on UA-cam! If ever I get bogged down, stuck, or just flat out have zero inspiration, 10 minutes with Mercurial Tones gets the groove flowing. Thank you for the hours of vibe you have shared and awakened within me.
Simple but effective. Good stuff, as allways. I can really feel your passion for producing in these tutorials, which makes them intresting and fun to watch!
I absolutely love how you explain theory with really creative visualization in your recent videos! Always learning new techniques from you, excited to experiment and implement them in my own productions! Keep it the great work!
I'm learning tons and you're presenting this so well! These tips are so valuable, and instead of only showing how to improve it you're also explaining why this works. That - and the vibe you're giving off - are why these tutorials are so effective! Keep up the good work!
Been producing for 4 years on my free time. This channel is what helped me the most since the tutorials by Tom Cosm a few years ago. Thank you very much.
What an awesome tutorial as usual 👏🏽 Would love to see more about basslines since it is where I usually do not feel that creative. Especially because basslines are imo the most powerful, driving backbone of a track
Your tips are so useful, I can imagine putting them into practice right away. I agree with other commenters about how your enthusiasm comes across as well! 👍
Yalcin!! Thank you for this tutorial! I love that pitchbend modulation effect! And Because of you, I am switching over to Ableton from BitWig! im a fan of you Yalcin!!thanks!
You are amazing 😻. Do you think you could do a tutorial on . Brightness in trance/techno . It’s not the right words but some leads seem to scream they make you want to scream to . Like a really bright supersaw but .. ugh 😣. I don’t actually know the words but I know the sound . Maybe you can help
Really good tutorial. I struggle with knowing how to get my sub and mid bass to sit well together. I notice from your videos you tend to use the same notes (most of the time), is this something you would recommend for more deep/progressive house, rather than having different patterns for the two?
It really depends on the track tbh. There is nothing wrong withusing different patterns as long as both layers "communicate" with each other and sits together nicely.
Did you ever thought to do like a course? I’ll buy it for sure because I’d like to produce more track and I got so fascinated from your 3 leves produce like Paul Kalkbrenner (my god)
holy f*ck dude I'ven looking for someone that actually knows about music production like this and you are the man bro keep it up you got a new sub here
Right next to the record button at the top of your screen, There is a little '+' (Plus) sign. It is called the 'Midi Arrangement Overdub' Button. This will allow you to record automation lines without replacing the notes.

The sounds that I make are very dull overall compared to pros, Idk how to move forward with it. I hate to use samples since I wanna learn "making sounds myself". Wish I could get some guidence.
I would suggest active listening to the tracks you like. Try to identify different elements and experiment with recreating them. It can help you start to recognise sounds and frequencies after a while

Thank you. 😊✌ About the brightness, most people would call it air. Maybe there can be a tutorial about it on the channel in the future.

great video! can you please share what bass preset you use @ 4:51 ?
It is the second preset on my Analog Techno Preset pack.
@@Alice-Efe thank you !
'that's boring', he says. I liked it, but okay i will watch and see.
okay yes it was boring. Yalcin fkin bossing it after that. So good.
Perfect. Make a video of drops tips for progressive house. Cheers :)
I already have a drop theory video on the channel, have you seen that? 😉
Really good tutorial. I struggle with knowing how to get my sub and mid bass to sit well together. I notice from your videos you tend to use the same notes (most of the time), is this something you would recommend for more deep/progressive house, rather than having different patterns for the two?

great video, but how did u record the automation? It will overwrite my midi with an empty clip

How is possible to that with Vital VST ?!?!? Thank You So Much!!!!!!!
The sounds that I make are very dull overall compared to pros, Idk how to move forward with it. I hate to use samples since I wanna learn "making sounds myself". Wish I could get some guidence.
Use in combination, get preset packs and reverse engineer them and learn from them while trying to replicate sounds you like as well.
The Boss!!!
Amazing!
THANK U SOO MUCH! In the tip 2 is that what its called a bass stab?
It is not really 100% stab but a stabby bass horn is maybe more accurate.
@@Alice-Efe thank you for you kindness
