Elmore Leonard was an incredible writer. I'm so glad he was well represented on-screen. That rarely happens for authors. The 2007 3:10 to Yuma among my top 3 fave Westerns. Crowe and Bale did a phenomenal job. It did a much better job of handling the complex characters than the 1957 version.
The Tall T (1957), the original 3: 10 To Yuma (1957) and Hombre (1967) are all 3 underrated Western Masterpieces adapted from Elmore Leonard's stories. I'm so glad they got the attention they deserve here. I highly recommend you see them all if you haven't. They're well worth your time.
My favorite Elmore Leonard (and for that matter,Quentin Tarantino) film to date is Jackie Brown. A restrained Tarantino working within the "constraints" of Leonard's framework is a match made in cinematic Heaven. A close second on Elmore's side is Out of Sight. As for Quentin, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Death Proof and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood fight for my second spot whenever I think of his work. Sometimes even True Romance and Reservoir Dogs sneak in under the radar.
Tshimingo Blues! Shame we didn't get a screen for that one. But of course everyone's favorite Elmore Leonard novel to screen adapt. is (The Water-melon Man), Mr. Majesticx. No doubt. Cool Video, BTW!
Number 1 & 2 choices are perfect, but when will they make 40 Lashes Less One? My favorite of his shorts. After his westerns everything was both in Miami AND Detroit...
FX’s Justified: City Primeval premieres 7.18 on FX. Stream on Hulu.
Love your work❤❤❤❤

Nothing wrong with Valdez is coming. It's a western. Why not include it too. Like all his westerns are good & worth watching.
Justified is the best series ever, hands down ❤
Wrong about one detail: Raylan Givens first appeared in the novel Pronto, published in 1992, then the novel Riding the Rap, published in 1995.

Hombre was totally bad ass.
Great list 😊👍
I ABSOLUTELY loved Justified

Jackie Brown is my favorite as well. If for no other reason than Pam Grier.
Loved Justified When It Was First Shown.. I HOPE ITS GOOD

Jackie Brown and Out of Sight, which has Michael Keaton in both of them. Love it!
Thanks for this! 🙏

Easily Justified, 3:10 to Yuma and Jackie Brown
Love these facts!😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Hombre, after reading thousands of books, it's comes across as making the most, out of the least in story telling! L. Leonard
I think Life of Crime is a bit underrated
Didn’t know Jackie brown was an Elmore Leonard
Of course Justified had to Number One!
It's shocking to me that the sponsor of the video got the number 1 spot. Talk about coincidence.
TBH i never heard of him until this video... :( Heard of some of the stuff listed here but never figured they were based off books and the like.
I'm posible que no te preocupes por el momento no sé si
Jackie brown is better to me than out of sight
City Primeval is the worst, filled with today's politics
