I pulled a MedivalGallant the other day, and I knew how generic it was, but I didn't know what I wanted to splash it in. Then I realized how insane it is as a tech card for Cherubimon Alliance. Always searchable off the rookies, gives the deck better removal (which it needed), you can evo into it mid-swing for 1, and if you hard play it you can alliance and trigger your inherits to keep evolving for cheap. Oh, and you can recycle it with the EX4 Wendigomon. Cerubimon continues to find ways to be such a silly deck.
Another cool thing about boltboutmon which i don't think you mentioned is that you technically can DNA digivolve into it using Chaosgallant and medivalgallant if they are both on the field
I can see the value of having DeathXmon, Medievalgallantmon, and Boltboutmon. Here my out, with Medieval its as you said but also for the DNA value with Chaos and Medieval. DeathXmon and Boltboutmon work off each other as it doesn't matter if your opponent plays a rookie long as something is deleted on either player's turn Boltboutmon will trash the security and this forces the opponent to either out the DeathXmon and stop having rookies getting deleted and forcing those plays or they get rid of the Boltboutmon from continuing to trash security while going passive if needed and eventually getting the win. That is just something I seen plus the Medieval can have its DP deleting help Trigger Boltboutmon's effect as well if you have a second Medieval on the field so you can keep the high end's ability live with either digimon.
100% would go for Medieval for your ChaosGallant deck, alliance allows to get bigger checks, constantly playing digimon each time one gets deleted to reactivate his digivolving eff

Ive seen this man go nuts in cherubi and leopardmon on top of being a fantastic generic card. Really really great pull glad you got one!

Medievalgallantmon beczuse you are playing out bodys and if has gallantmon in name meaning you could also threaten ace.
