It worked fine for 1 week and suddenly didn't start anymore. Thanks to your video I checked the starter fuse and replaced it because it was blown , but still wasn't starting. When turning the key to start, the dashboard lights stayed on. After checking all the fuses still doesn't start , but now, all dashboard lights turn off after turning the key to start position. CLK 200K 2000 Manual - Possible ECM issue? Car's been having starting problems for weeks. The starter engages but won’t start the engine. Now, it won’t start at all. After a jump-start attempt, the key stopped working (not recognized by ignition or central locking), but it still sends a signal.
Ok, check to see if the car builds fuel pressure first. Check the fuse number 4 in boot also. Then see if you have spark. No spark? CpS gone (crankshaft Position sensor) I have lots of videos on all of these topics, check W209 playlist.
Would you happen to know which fuse or relay would control the rear headrest/roll bars from popping up spontaneously and then the hazard lights start blinking? It's a 2009 CLK550 Cab, which does not have the roll bar switch to reset them. They have to be pushed back down manually. Any thoughts you might have on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
CLK 320CDI year 2006 sporadically cuts off. When I restart it it starts perfectly as if nothing has happened. Could the terminal relays (15R and 87) have something to do with it? Sometimes it happens even before i start the engine. The instrument lights turn on and off.

@@erensazakli7554 I have found a few threads on Benz uk forum but non of them are resolved. So I guess we are not the only ones. I changed all of the relays and it did not work. The other thing that was suggested on the forum is the crank position sensor. I will try to change that my self, as it is not expensive this way. Will post here if I manage to find a solution. Hey! I recently changed an indicator light (right side) but I don’t think it was wired properly as the indicator light would flash every so often when the car was off. A couple days later, my car wouldn’t lock or unlock and the key does not start the ignition at all, the key hardly moves when it’s in the ignition? No I mean seperate from the fog light the harnes6has 3 wires red and black get connected directly to the battery and a blue wire that I need to connect to an accessory fuse so when I turn the car on the daytime running lights come on and when I turn the car off they go out after 20 seconds
@petergiannitsadis3561 if those lights have 3 wires, the blue wire is just a sense and you are not going to pull much of a current from the blue. So you can connect it to pretty much anything as long as you secure your wires properly and insulate them correctly, and use a 1 AMP inline fuse and holder, but as I said, have a look at the diagrams... hope it helps.

Some cars are diesel powered, some manual transmission, these are for different options and trims, so do not worry so much about missing Fuses if all of the functions of your cars are in working condition.

There are 3 big Fuses close to the firewall. Check those out, make sure the battery is good, charged and the contacts are clean. Make sure the polarity of the battery is correct too.

This usually happens when the data from sensors to the ECU is cut, this might be an unplugged connector, bad negative, rusted ECU connection, bad ECU or a bad temperature sensor. I fact this is a self defence action against damage as the ECU does not know what is wrong. You need to diagnose your car using a proper scanner preferably MB star.

Hello, you need to check: 1. Pressure switch. 2. If you have enough gas in the AC system, both can cause the compressor not to work.

Hi mate, you need to find why the starter fuse blew. Probably a short somewhere and now the battery is flat, it can be that simple.

Please check the relevant fuse and if if the fuse is good, the module on top of the blower fan can be faulty. Or the blower motor itself.

I believe the CLK fan has no relay. The power comes straight out of a fan modulator and ECU. Need to diagnose using MB Star.

Hi mate, this might have nothing to do with the indicator issue. Are you sure your battery is healthy / charged? Check the voltage first to be +12.5

If relay is defective and being traced for malfunction,,do we still need to check wiring and ground.
Well you first need to check simple and not costly parts and then replace Relays, a horn relay is unlikely to be faulty if not used excessively...

Just use a multimeter, it is easy to check.

Hi I connected the blue wire to the wiper motor fuse the wipers work only in accessory or ignition mode all good now.

i pulled fuse 8 in the trunk out and it only made things worse but that was the only fuse i took out
Driver's side tail light out after changing both... which fuse controls the driver's side tail light
These might be electronic and not fused! Rear Sam module controls these
