I used to assemble these at Lowe’s. It’s amazing how much better built the Weber grills are over the other ones especially charbroil. Everything on Weber stuff always lines up with no issues. I just wish Weber wouldn’t have gone away from their heavier lid that held heat in better. The old silver series if you can find one is a great grill. Also the burners going front to back isn’t as good as left to right especially if you use a rotisserie.
You live life on the edge by turning on all burners to start the grill directions state start with left burner on high only to much gas makes things go BOOM! The back burner that you call it is not a burner but a flame tube to start all the other burners off the 1st left burner there is no cooking power from it
If you see this post, would you be so kind as to give the length and depth of the grilling area , please? We cook ALOT of food at once on our grill when we have a party or family over. Was considering actually MAKING a permanent grill out of brick and mortar to suit our needs, but saw this and was wondering about those dimensions. Great video. Thanks
How much smoke does it produce when everything's clean? Also, does the top of the lid get hot to the touch from the outside? I am looking for one for a tighter condo patio which is open up top but small dimensionally
The rear burner clogged with moderate use. You can clear it with a wire brush. The overall grill is good and gets up in temperature fast for great grilling of steaks.
When closing the lid the plates or whatever is stored on the rack fall onto the grill. The rack is too close to the lid. Who designed this? For that alone I would not buy this Grill again....now that I am stuck with it.
Actually you can use both sides. I find that the way he has them you can put hot-dogs and sausages along the channels so they don't roll away. then they cook evenly when you turn them.

My wife just got me this for Father's day yesterday can't wait to start grilling some stuff
Had my spirit 2 for a year now love it I got the gbs grill with a few extra pans etc makes it so much more versatile. A lot more expensive in the uk
I still have my Weber Silver from 2004 and still works great.
Thanks for sharing. You installed the grates upside down. The flat side goes UP.
Thank you confirming this i wasnt sure just put this same exact grill together yesterday

Great video.
Thanks
I just bought this for myself, Father’s Day 2019. Had to go with the sapphire for my Seahawks!
Go Hawks!
Hi we don't have gs4 labels and things like that is ours a genuine product?
I can't find the other color options
now you just need Grill Grates for that nice even heat displacement.. they're a bxtch to clean but food comes out awesome.
Grill plates are upside down...

the amount of smoke totally depends on what you are cooking. grease and so forth
Just got mine today! Cant wait to grill! Ty for the review.
Is this a USA made model? Also, how is it holding up years later?
The rear burner clogged with moderate use. You can clear it with a wire brush. The overall grill is good and gets up in temperature fast for great grilling of steaks.
So is it weather safe? can I leave it under rain or, should I cover it?
Always use a cover. It will make any grill last so much longer
Good video, ACE will put together for free at a competitive price, specially on holiday weekend sales! Jim
I got free
Also
Can anyone tell me what the external measurements of this grill is?? And can you get a hot plate for it? Thanks
Comes with an extra hot plate. Approx. 1320 mm length, with both shelves up. 700 deep with the lid open. Cheers
What's the chain on the left side table for?
It has a tool used to hold a match so you can safely light it if the button stops working.
How much os the price
Que precio tiene este grill
I just got the exact same one can't wait to get busy 🔥🔥🔥thanks bro!!
I'm buying this grill soon!
Now $569 at Amazon.
Excellent, thanks 👍🏻
Great grill, but it took me 2 hours to assembly.
thank so considerably for your video it aids a great deal.

I've never used the back rack for plates. I've always used it to toast buns or keep food warm rather than actually cook it
Grill grates are upside down. Flat side up.
Yes you are correct. I have since flipped mine with the flat side up after making this video.
it's made like that way by design to be flipped for different foods
The wider, flat side of the cooking grates should be facing upwards for cast iron grates.
Actually you can use both sides. I find that the way he has them you can put hot-dogs and sausages along the channels so they don't roll away. then they cook evenly when you turn them.
you put your grill grids on the wrong way...the flat part goes up...
No they don't
Pretty sure the grates are reversible
Maria u r right
Have seen this one today in person. Without Weber Logo i would think its 100 $ piece of crap. Qlty is just bad .
Made in China...JUNK. Buy a cast aluminum, made in the United States Broilmaster and it will be the last grill you ever buy.
