I don’t know why but when I saw this figure in the stores his eyes were looking to the side and there were 2 they both were looking to the side and I thought that’s how it’s supposed to be and the looking straight eyes were a prototype

I wish I could find this figure at regular price. and since they did release the ultimate "hero" ash, it seems like all the head sculpts can be switched around between the 2 figures, allowing for lots of display options.

I correct you in a little thing,the other Ash you used for comparison is not from Army of Darkness,it's the Evil Dead 2 Hero Ash,also many people confuse the Ash from Evil Dead 2 for the Army of Darkness Ash,but ther's slight difference that many doesn't see,the most evident it'sThe ED2 Ash don't have the watch on his left wrist,instead the AoD ash have the watch! I don't agree with many people that keep lamenting with this release for the chainsaw..guys this is a super ultimate figure and very iconic from the movie,and in Evil dead 2 this is the Ash we see for almost all the movie,the Hero version has a screen time that during barely 15 minutes,so why complain for the chainsaw?Surely the Hero Ash is the most iconic,but the only Chainsaw that fit the look of that figure it's the non modified saw,and i think that version is really missing with this Ash.That's my opinion,and i think that a true fan of this saga Know what i mean.. Neca should make a Henrietta figure that can have a replaceable head that is in a bendy wire so you could have Henrietta fighting Ash, and also another ultimate Ash with the chainsaw hand, Kandarian dagger, and the monster Henrietta head that looks like it’s been cut off.
@the nazgul Go check your Walmart, there's a new version with different pieces. It DOES have the chainsaw. $30 also. They always have a variance of NECA figures in the collectibles spot in the gaming/media department. Hopefully, you can find one!

Hey, I just bought this figure and I want it displayed. Is the stand you used an extra you had from another figure you bought? Or is it a generic stand you could get online somewhere? I searched Amazon for one, but I didn't find too many that didn't look like the one it comes with. When you said you wished you could find a desk to place it on I chuckled a bit. Because on of the things I bought on Ebay after getting the figure was a small dollhouse table to display the book and recorder.

Not much of a pickup for me, honestly. There's nothing here that I didn't already get with the original releases. NECA didn't include any new accessories or anything, and the Ash figures were already decently articulated. The only difference there is the legs having ball-joints instead of hip/thigh-cuts. And of course, no chainsaw or boomstick. I agree that the figure should have been called something else. Maybe something like "Ultimate Farewell to Arms Ash" instead of just simply "Ultimate Ash". That's a bit misleading. They likely will do another "Ultimate Hero Ash" figure down the line. Great review, though, Spot.

Hey, I just bought this figure and I want it displayed. Is the stand you used an extra you had from another figure you bought? Or is it a generic stand you could get online somewhere? I searched Amazon for one, but I didn't find too many that didn't look like the one it comes with. When you said you wished you could find a desk to place it on I chuckled a bit. Because on of the things I bought on Ebay after getting the figure was a small dollhouse table to display the book and recorder.

Not much of a pickup for me, honestly. There's nothing here that I didn't already get with the original releases. NECA didn't include any new accessories or anything, and the Ash figures were already decently articulated. The only difference there is the legs having ball-joints instead of hip/thigh-cuts. And of course, no chainsaw or boomstick. I agree that the figure should have been called something else. Maybe something like "Ultimate Farewell to Arms Ash" instead of just simply "Ultimate Ash". That's a bit misleading. They likely will do another "Ultimate Hero Ash" figure down the line. Great review, though, Spot.
