You’re so clear in your explanation!!! You make what looks like gibberish make perfect sense!! Very important information made clear and what’s most important too! Thank you!!
Omg. I love you. Thank you!! It's like having to break legs to get any of this explained, but in less than 15 minutes you schooled the heck out of me. Thank you again. I so subscribed and am looking forward to watching all your videos😊
What pump do I need for a large rock with a one inch pipe coming up the center? Pump is going to be approximately 5 feet below the top of the rock. The rock is about 44 inches tall and 40 inches wide. I'm pretty sure the pipe is one inch or maybe 11/4 inch diameter.
This was super helpful and covered the points well. As I was reading various how to descriptions I was getting more and more unsure. I do have a question- I want to do a small fountain with 3 heads- do I then multiply my Max Head and Max Lift by the 3?
Hi Kate, if you want the pump to push 3x the amount of water, then yes you would have to increase by a multiple of 3. If you are using one tube and then splitting it into 3 heads, you should probably get something a little stronger than you need but it wouldn't need to be tripled.
Thank you for your guidance. Do you have any advice on how to manage the flow of the fountain.. I have a dolphin fountain and it seems to spill to water out completely instead of staying within the area of the water feature.
Yes in my pondless water feature video I do have a "diverter" valve connected that will allow you to change the flow of the water. I believe the product link is in that video description ua-cam.com/video/BID1Sqdb--I/v-deo.html
Does anybody know why fountain pumps do not come with long enough pipe from bottom of the pond to come out of the water. My pond is 1 meter high but cannot find a fountain pump with over a meter pipe ?? I don't get it . Any help would be great. Excellent video.
@@PrettyPurpleDoor Hiya I just ended up buying some flofast pipe and made my extension as I needed it to stand up straight . With flex pipe I would not have got the same effect . Just read this post to myself and all seems very wrong lol 🤣 thanks for your reply Pretty Fred
I have just replaced my fountain pump with the same size one ( Little Giant 100 ) , this new pump shoots the water higher than the old pump - too high for fountain ( maybe new is stronger than the older one ? being new ). I have a two level fountain ( flower round shape ) . How may I tone down the pressure so it won't shoot so high . Thank you for any help

You saved me from buying the wrong pump!!
Great job deciphering all the manufacturers jargon!

Isn't that so annoying??? Maybe the larger pumps have a longer pipe. I think just getting the flexible tubing is a good option (it's really cheap too)

Really liked your video but I have a question. What does this mean max flow rate: 180 l/h mean?
Hi! Max flow is how much water volume can be pushed directly out from the pump. L/h is liters per hour.
Thank you for the thoughtful video.
Oh man... I'm going through this right now.
Indoor gardening features require precision. Hope it went well

You can use a diverter. There's an explanation of what this is in the video and links to purchase in the description.
Thx!
Thanks
