Thanks again Kevin for your clear and concise info videos on these Scooters. I decide to buy the Zero 8, it comes on Thursday. Great job bro👍🏼
That’s wonderful news! Congratulations! Please feel free to share your experience here. If you have problems, or even positive experiences, feel free to share. I want to build a community so that we can all enjoy and support one another. So happy for you!
Thank you for the review. Is it better to buy from zero or from Titan (manufacturer of zero) at a half price?
Is the braking system much worse on the Z8 or it is acceptable? Feels much safer with both front and rear brakes. Thank you.
If you are in the US, I would buy from RevRides. The link is in the description. You get customer service, parts, consultation, and a community to share information and tips with, etc. I prefer the Zero 9 for braking. It’s got both front and rear breaks, feels more stable over bumps and at high speeds and is more powerful. Zero 9, all the way!
I bought the Turbowheel Dart(Zero 9) five days ago. I already own a perfectly working Zero 8 as well
That Zero 9 is a clear step above the Zero 8 for sure but the Zero 8 definitely has its market. How do you feel about the differences between them?
@@OnlineShoppingMyWay Man, I'm so pissed that my Dart took 9 days to arrive when their website says it should only take 4 days to Chicago. I finally got it today, after the entire 4th of July weekend. It took 6 hours to fully charge and finally unplugged it 15 minutes ago. It's dark now so I'll wait til morning to adjust the handlebars, screw everything in and take a quick ride around the block. I'll have to wait til work is over tomorrow to finally take it for a joyride. The board is considerably longer than my Z8 and as a result, longer when folded up too.
@@OnlineShoppingMyWay The rear tire requires a tire extender to pump air but as soon as I detach it, I already lost a lot of air. Should I inflate the tire to 65 psi, anticipating that I'll lose about 15 psi trying to detach the tire extender? Also, my front disk is rubbing with the brake.
@@OnlineShoppingMyWay Does your rear tire require a valve extender to inflate?
Zero 9 is on my way just waiting on ups 🤪 thanks for the review
That's awesome! I really hope you enjoy it! Have you been riding another scooter, or is this your very first experience owning an eScooter??
Nice and detailed review. Good job sir. May I ask how long do you think the actual battery will last? I'm 63kg, 75 max with a heavy bag. Terrain is flat with occasional steep slopes
You should be fine charging the battery once or twice a week, depending on the distance you travel. At your weight, you should get optimal performance and great battery life, even climbing occasional inclines.
Hey shaka nice test. Where did get that little wheel underneath the zero 9?
Great question, here is my review of the trolley wheels. The link for them is in the description of the video. Installing Trolley Wheels on Zero 9 Scooter (Online Shopping My Way)

hey im looking for a zero portability product, easier for me to fit it into my sedan trunk whenever i go. my weight is 84kg, and i will ride with my 5 years old son. will z9 is enough for me? also want to cosider around my house area got 10-20 dgree elevation. give me your idea
Thanks for your questions, Jonny boy! Those are great. The Zero 9 would be perfect for fitting into a car or truck. You weigh about the same as I so you will have no trouble whatsoever. I actually took my friend's 5 year-old with me on the scooter to the playground last weekend. Besides making sure he didn't wiggle around too much while we wrote and making sure wore a helmet and pads, it wasn't bad at all. He had a great time and kept asking to go for a ride while we were at the playground, so, I think he enjoyed the Zero 9 more than playing with other kids at the park! The recommended elevation is up to 15 degrees, but obviously, you can see from this video that the hill I climb was significantly more than 15 degrees. The scooter slowed for a bit until I reached the top, but it did just fine. Your battery life will decline more quickly when you are on steep inclines, but you can see that Zero 9 does well with someone around your weight. It's a great value for the money!
I have zero 8 this bad boy. One time, the brake doesn't work when I was going down this long deep hill.
There is a way to brake Zero fast and hard. Step on the mudguard HARD!!! It will slow down but not enough in my situation with a car heading my way.
Once slow down enough, jump off the scooter with both feet landing on the ground at the same time. Pls bend your knees like swat position and relax yr body.
You will stop completely but the scooter might be somewhere else.
That's the reason I'm a fan of the Zero 9. Dual braking makes all the difference in the world. Glad you made it out safe!
@@OnlineShoppingMyWay but it is fun
Hello from France..Ok but automatically we can talk about the weight of the scooters from the start...; 17.5 kg(38,5livre) for the Zero 8 and around 19 or 20 kg (44livre)for the Zero 9 it seems to me.
And the distance traveled with 1 full charge...
Here are 2 "little" arguments for the Zero8 ,isn'it ?!?😉
You should purchase the scooter that best fits your budget and needs. Obviously, the Zero 9 is more well equipped, but the zero 8 is a little more affordable and works great for anyone under 68 kg (150 lbs.). If the Zero 8 is most appealing to you, that’s what I would recommend.
will the zero 9 climb up a 15 degree slope and i weight 99 pounds and what was that very high pitch noise when you did the brake test on the zero 9?
If you weight less than 100 lbs, the Zero 9 will climb a 15 degree slope with relative ease. No problem. The noise you heard was the tires on asphalt during the brake test.
@@OnlineShoppingMyWay oh ok thanks for the help☺️
@@arskelu6319 You’re very welcome!
@@OnlineShoppingMyWay what about the zero 8?
@@arskelu6319 The Zero 8 is less powerful so you’ll probably be fine going up a hill more than 15 degrees if you weight 130 lbs (58.9 kg) or less.
Cual prefieres entre la Venom 800 y la Zero 9.... necesito una opinion precisa.... @scooter One - Colombia
Nunca he revisado un veneno 800. No lo sabría. Lo siento.
Made in china? Or US?
I believe they are made in China
Thanks for the detailed review. 👍
You’re very welcome. Thank you for watching!
Whats your weight sir?
About 180 lbs.
🔥🔥🔥
Great
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
looking at second hand zero9 thanx
They are great machines!! Good choice!
@@OnlineShoppingMyWay picked it up today....
Possibly the coolest and most visible lights at night, high point for me as i do a lot of commuting for work at night...
Okay, agreed that ppe/armour is required..from a safety perspective..
Ive ridden fast motorbikes, and come off them fast... but different ball game in an urban environment entirely...
More likely to be injured avoiding random Lycra bandits on bikes and random unpredictable dog walkers and connected dogs
lol now i get the jeans ....
Very happy with my purchase, compared to the ninebot i had borrowed/stolen/tested the last few weeks. Sooo much safer, more comfortable and can get to the shops quicker than i can drive and park...
Most importantly it has the distance for me to travel 10km each way to spend time with my daughter every afternoon.
Your review made up my mind :) thanks bud
That’s amazing! So glad the video was helpful. You are serious about your ride! Lol! Keep in touch if you have questions. Nine or is great, but the suspension on the Zero 9 is a game, changed for the smaller scooters. If you are using longer distances, it really comes in handy. I’ve been able to reach speeds of up to 26 mph (41.86 kph), so headgear and protection for knees and elbows is essential. I don’t ride much in crowded areas, but I can concur that navigating around other commuters can be quite treacherous, to say the least 😂😂 Welcome to the Zero family!!
@@OnlineShoppingMyWay i got to 50km/hr down a hill, went straight home and put my motorcycle helmet on!
Hahahahahaha!!! Yes, safety first at those speeds!!!
Good info
Thank you!
So the zero9 would go up most hills?
Well, I wanted to make it clear in the video that at 180 lbs. I had not trouble making it up that hill, it climbed steadily and did not have to work too hard. I would gauge your experience based on your weight to make that determination. I have had no problems thus far and you can easily tell how steep that incline is.
