    One of the hardest to master yet most underrated shot. Players should master this before focusing on smash.

    • @BadmintonFamly
      @BadmintonFamly  4 роки тому

      Yes agree 💯💪🏻

    • @myclamish
      @myclamish 4 роки тому

      I mean I wouldn't say players should *master* this before focusing on smash... both shots should be worked up to the same level together since they compliment each other.

    • @xxWidex
      @xxWidex 4 роки тому

      @@myclamish Ya I get what you mean, my "mastering" means you can hit every basic drop with good quality regardless of position. Having accurate smash is just a matter of time.

    This is what I was looking for!
    Could you please make a video on (singles)
    1) how to recover from the corners? Especially from the deep forehand/backhand net shot
    2) if possible, why do the smash, drops hit the net or the tape? When doing a overhead/around the head straight/cross clear why does the shuttle go out!
    3) when we do a straight smash and opponent push/drives the shuttle to cross court near side lines what should be the footwork?
    Regards and best,
    Joyson

    Why your drop shots are not landing very close to net? Opponent then would have to take one extra step to pick it up which will be more difficult.

    I find it so hard to do every "follow thru" step, everytime i do over head unconsiously the racket always hit my thigh. If remember to follow true, the shot end up became a slice rather than power shot

    • @BadmintonFamly
      @BadmintonFamly  3 роки тому
