This was 8 years ago and I, too, had a miracle of healing, but I am on day 8 of a novena to St. Clare to help me fast because I have never been able to do it, but I feel called to it. I feel my finding your you tube today was an answer to my novena. I know that “I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me”. Thank you for your story! Could you tell me what SA stands for please? I also am on a bread and water fast for 15 days and it’s just great! I have so much joy! I used to fast til 2:30 each day then eat two meals a day. But health issues from abuse and suffering the cross with Jesus . But since doing bread and water fast I’m feeling great swelling going down ,walking and standing now after being bed ridden and nearly dying. Who is like unto God? No one is like unto God!

I think it is important to say that you can fast in so many ways, it doesnt always include food, as long has it means you are taking that fast for the right reasons and means some kind of sacrifice, for me it would mean turning off my laptop for long periods of time to disengage from the interent, and that would be hard for me, harder than giving food up. Thank you for enocouraging us with your lovely testimony and discipline that must be hard work for you, well done and keep it up amen.

Sounds like me. I sometimes fail with a coffee or butter. I found better success with semolina bread or flat bread. Keep going!

Peggy, thanks for your kind reply. Pray and ask The Holy Spirit for grace, power, and strength. Cooking for others and fasting can be difficult . The Holy Spirit will guide you on how you are to fast. “Ask and you will receive.”
