Yes they are even today one of the very best cars on the road.I love mine.The price has come right down now.The only other car for sheer driving pleasure I've owned to come near it was the Saab 900.Mine is a mercedes 320 CDI estate which is really practical and actually looks a work of art.

@@selfmadeeeeedhi! i have an 05 E320 as my first car and it’s awesome. if you’re buying one just be sure that its been well taken care of and buy one that runs nicely. make sure everything looks and sounds good, and give it a good test drive, being sure to run it through the gears and get a good acceleration in. enjoy!!
I have one with a Break Light issue SBC I believe :( sucks
This might be too late, but they extended the SBC warranty for 25 years. I have a 2004 e320 they said I have til 2029 for it to be valid. I don’t have the error but it’s free if you still qualify and if you went to an independent mechanic you can get reimbursed.
I didn’t even get help from them payed 3000k just for 2 battery’s & for em 2 bleed car basically & give me just the resovior. Said only cause the SBC been worked on I bought the car used & didn’t even kno one about that they didn’t wanna cover for me car is in the shop now gettin fix buy a guy who knows about these he said he can fix it just waitin on em kall
