Inspired by 'The Combinatorics Project' (www.equestriada..., I am planning to do a song about every unique ship (15) between the main six. This is a long-term project. For now, I am roughly following the 'Combinatorics' order, but that can change. Tell me what ships y'all most want to see. I might do ships outside the mane six if there is enough interest. The series is called 'Unmakeablelove.' It is an exploration of the universal idea of romantic love through ponies. What does it mean to love someone with your whole heart?

SGaP removing their vids almost has some bitter-sweet meaning to it.
I do not know if you'll ever see this, but. To me, your music is beyond perfect. It makes me experience a world i can not experience. I can not quite explain the feeling of it, but I just dive into another world. That only happens when i'm filled with complete feels.

What happened to him?
i know most sgap videos haven't been commented on in awhile, but while everyone thinks there's some big grand meaning to him deleting his videos, i believe it's because he has ocd and is so perfectionistic that nothing was ever good enough, hence why he talked about making stuff people would "actually like" and then ultimately deleting everything.
a friend of mine has ocd and ends up deleting every social media account they make, which i was reminded of heavily when getting into sgap only recently, and i also have ocd and while i don't do this exact same thing i end up deleting posts off my twitter and tumblrs because they "don't look right" or make things "too cluttered" and i am too perfectionistic to even start doing most things, like making youtube videos.
it also probably does have something to do with sgap's love of philosophy; i definitely do think these two things are intertwined, especially his big interest in the concept of nothing. but i think a lot of people miss the more mundane reasons for things, and i definitely think my theory is correct.
I do the exact same thing. It really is my undoing at times, and I absolutely dislike that part about myself. SGAP's stuff has been one of my favorite things I've seen from this fandom though
The only song on my phone with over 1000 plays. It was the only song I could fall asleep to while out to sea. Makes me miss the ocean.

I still listen to SGaP's music on a fairly regular basis- even this long past his unfortunate departure. I can safely say that I probably always will too, for as long as I live. No other artist makes me feel the way I feel when I listen to SGaP. Something about these songs changed the way I look at music, and even life in general. It's had such a profound effect on me that it's become a part of my life now in a way.
That said, every time I listen to his music, I can't help but wonder how he's doing -- how he's feeling right now. I like to think he's still out there somewhere, and hasn't forgotten about his devoted fans that love him unconditionally (I know I can't be the only one). Even if he no longer wants to make music, even if he's given up his previous pony-ways, that's okay. I'd just like to know that he's alright.

BigHippo777 I wish I could tell you, but I don't know myself. :c Something I read once seemed to suggest that he just got really busy and didn't have as much time to make music, and when he _did_, he wasn't satisfied with his work.
kadinscido Ooh yeah, I check that place out quite a bit now (just a lurker but yeah). Did anyone ever find out what all that tumblr stuff meant? I got really excited about it, but it's been kind of a while since I heard anything about it now. o:

After hearing that SGaP planned to make a song for all 15 mane six ships, I think it would be awesome if a bunch of the musicians got together and finished Unmakeablelove. Sort of like a tribute album like Sori 52. This needs to happen!

Honestly I'm actually quite upset we never knew _why_ SGaP quit.

Every few months I get the need to listen to SGAP again. I actually joined the fandom right around the time they were putting this out, and I loved SGAP's music for being so different from just about anything I've ever heard before. Nowadays, it elicits a completely different emotion in me, as I more or less witnessed their channel privatized and then deleted -- I still have a dead link to their former channel in my RSS reader.
All of this is to say, thank you, for preserving something which I and I'm sure many others consider beautiful works of art.
My whole world around me changes whenever I listen to anything you've made. I can't experience this a lot so it's really special for me. Thank you SGaP, I appreciate everything you've done for us.
Still remember everyone's jaw-dropping reactions to his first ever song release. And how every pony-musician in the Skype chat was practically starstruck the moment they got him to join!

I feel like here may be something profound about SoGreatandPowerful's decision to delete any trace of his art from the internet. Listening to this music now that it has been reuploaded on an archive channel feels different, I imagine, than it would feel if it was still up on SGaP's own channel.
It is like marveling at a glassy spiderweb glistening in the dawn sunlight. Witnessing something very beautiful and very fragile, I am made painfully aware of the notion that nothing lasts forever - that most things, as a matter of fact, disappear far too quickly.
Perhaps then, deleting himself from the internet was the final stroke in a magnificent and mysterious painting about impermanence.
He recently came back and uploaded new stuff but then he deleted it all again. I think he's just a dick.

@@Lorkhanable As far as I've been told by people who know them, SGAP is incredibly critical of their own work. A lot of creatives can relate to that feeling; as time passes, we like our old work less and less, becoming convinced that it isn't good enough, and eventually believing that it should no longer exist. This is probably why SGAP deleted their old music. They're not doing it to be a dick.

Why do most youtubers never leave a goodbye video.. if your not going to make a video in 8 moths you should at least make a video saying you will be back to make another video in a couple of moths but at the moment I'm caught up with stuff IRL or a video that says sorry guys i have to focus more on work i have to leave guys because we keep hoping for new content that we never get. I love this artists work but hope there will be more but have no idea since this artist has no recent activity for 8 months.
In the description the artist says he is doing a long term project but come on were at 8 months we are nearing a full year. When most artists say a long term thing it normally lasts 4-6 moths sometimes 7 but when an artist hits 8 moths it normally means they are not coming back and forgot to give the viewers a notice well hope to see the future if this all changes and SoGreatandPowerfulArchives makes a comeback.
