Once again, instead of making brides raise their budget like other versions of this show do, this boutique lowered the price of the dress to make it affordable for them
Something that I think they could do is first pick one that is under budget, and then raise it till it gets to the budget, and if the dress that the bride loves is over the budget, then go over the budget by a little. They literally go like: What's your budget?? 2.000 dollars HeRe'S a DrEsS oF 34.000 DoLlArS
This is a double edged sword. I agree with shops not going over budget unless the bride really says she wants to But lowering the price is a different thing. It’s up the to shop own if they want to cut their profits. I’m saying this as someone who sews who has people wanting me to lower my costs or give them discounts when they know I’m barely making profit as it is. No one appreciates crafting or sewing anymore since you have mainstream outlets to buy things. She could pay a seamstress about the same amount of money for a completely custom dress if she wanted. I feel like people have no issue paying the prices that these shops offer but if they wanted something custom from a seamstress who runs their business they would want a discount.

She's beautiful, and so are the gowns, but they're not an accurate depiction of 1920's gowns. 1920's gowns, were beautiful in their own right, but never went floor length, or showed off ones curves (all about a straight boyish figure), so maybe 1930's bridal magazine is more accurate lol. Sorry for being pedantic, but Gok is actually wrong here.
@@spiritedsodamnfaraway yes? I'm confused by your comment I never said anything about it not being her actually hair and I understand it's growing back
@@brandyjean7944 I think your comment saying that you think the short hair looks natural on her can be misinterpreted as you thinking that short hair was a wig.
The dress that she thought was “too plain” was actually really flattering and gorgeous on her in my opinion. Sometimes less is more and more plain dresses can compliment the bride more than an over the top gown. But I equally love the dress she picked too Edit: this is the 1000th comment oh my
I agree, I think it also is bc she has good skin, bone structure and just regal ness. A too sparkly dress just takes away too much attention from how naturally beautiful she is
It suited her so well. I also think the second dress she tried on she thought was "old looking" she looked so young and fresh and beautiful. The high necks on her modelesque body with her short curly hair suits her so much and looks so young. Thought the one she chose was more aging honestly
If they didnt said she was a survivor, I would have never thought she even went through chemo. Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful brides I have seen on this show.
I think it's also the type of people they have on the show... a lot of the times on the other versions they have similar brides with similar tastes and similar backgrounds, with strained relationships between them and their parents or friends. I feel the other versions mainly pick the ones with dramatic parents/brides whereas the Lancashire version focuses mainly recruits brides who are unconventional and it's more about the bride themselves - so they'd suit and prefer different dresses.

In the American version the consultants always go way over budget and the bride's entourage roasts her during the entire fitting. It is so refreshing to see the bride have a beautiful support system and have the consultants care more than getting the most money out of you.
I just have to say I LOVE her hair. This helps me so much. I too survived cancer last year. I lost all my hair and it’s growing back curly (it was super straight before cancer). I’ve gotten compliments but doubted the sincerity. Seeing how amazing hers looks is so encouraging.
Yeah, chemo tends to make the hair grow back curly for whatever reason. Mine isn't coming back as curly as this but at least it is coming back and I can color it anyway I want to. :-)
When she walked down the stairs with the final dress she was so beautiful not bcoz of the dress was beautiful but because she was brimming with confidence and happiness. That was damn breathtaking.
The dresses on Lancashire are so so so beautiful. And I like that we consistently see different gowns. I feel like on the US versions they show the brides the same dresses over and over again. Or at least always similar styles/cuts *all* the time. Lancashire, Ireland and Curvy Brides seem to actually care about the person's style AND budget.
I definitely feel like UK is the absolute WORST for showing the same dresses over and over. I know it's a small shop, but come on 🙄 I feel like this show and Atlanta have the most diverse selection of dresses, with New York being a close third

The plain one looked absolutely beautiful on her, I loved it immediately, but it doesn't matter, because ANY dress that makes her smile like that is a winner 🥲🥲🥲🤧

I had to have brain surgery, twice, 6 months before my wedding, and because of that I didn’t know what to do with my hair, and I lost a lot of weight (so my dress was way too big). But luckily, because of everything that happened, my dress fits perfectly now and I wear it once a month, and ever since I grew my hair back I never stop playing with it ❤️
God bless you, Sweetie, all the best to you & your husband. You deserve all the happiness in the world. I love the idea of enjoying your beautiful dress regularly. Genius. 🌹💞
Also, what I love about the Lancashire series is that it feels more intimate and respectful of the bride and the family's opinion. You can really tell how patient Gok is with the brides.
I love that the family was only concerned about how she felt in/how she liked it, they almost never commented on the dress itself just on her face/expression while wearing or how she seemed to feel about it, they said like “I feel like you don’t like this one as much” instead of “I dont like it.” I think that’s what the entourage should always be like in this, just concerned about how the bride feels instead of making it about them and their personal opinions about what she should wear
Gok is the one! loved dress one but she looked stunning and glam in that art deco dress., i love how he pushes them gently to not be safe and find their personal style
That’s really lovely that they’ve lowered the price for her, she deserves to have this dress...sometimes we just need someone to cut us a break and this is perfect! So generous!

Genius.
🌹💞
Your comment made me smile. Enjoy that try on 😁👍. Hope your keeping healthy 💚
wow, I love that for you
Good for you! I pray God blesses you and you continue to have good health and fun wearing your dress!
She looks beautiful in everything they put her in and I love her hairstyle it's so classy.
She could so easily do some classic finger waves with that length and texture and I'm so jealous 😭😭😭 she's so stunning
Also, what I love about the Lancashire series is that it feels more intimate and respectful of the bride and the family's opinion. You can really tell how patient Gok is with the brides.
I involuntarily gasped at the third dress
She looked ETHEREAL ❤❤
I love that the family was only
concerned about how she felt in/how she liked it, they almost never commented on the dress itself just on her face/expression while wearing or how she seemed to feel about it, they said like “I feel like you don’t like this one as much” instead of “I dont like it.” I think that’s what the entourage should always be like in this, just concerned about how the bride feels instead of making it about them and their personal opinions about what she should wear
I just want Gok to be my fairy godmother!!
da broncobabe sameee
He is the Best.😘
Omgoodness I would be so psyched to turn around and see Gok 😍💜
She is so Downtown Abby Stunning. A classic face and figure with a really sweet nature.
"I'm worried that I'm going to be leaving with a dress that I'm not wowed" like Auntie Gok will not let that happen
Some people don’t realize that they look good with short hair and she looks like Betty boop
Gok is the one! loved dress one but she looked stunning and glam in that art deco dress., i love how he pushes them gently to not be safe and find their personal style
The dresses in this episode are the most beautiful I've seen...loving that 20s vibe!! :)
The last dress goes perfectly with her hair looks like she’s a time traveler from the 1920s
Ik!!
Daisy Buchanan in the flesh. I love the Art Deco aesthetic.
Old Hollywood!
She looks like a goddess from the ,1920's 😍 she is gorgeous!
That’s really lovely that they’ve lowered the price for her, she deserves to have this dress...sometimes we just need someone to cut us a break and this is perfect! So generous!
What a spectacular 👗 dress. Poor RAVEN... so intimidated and unsure. But as always Gok turned everything around and I am grateful to see the joy on Raven's face. Thank you 😊 for your kind help .
I want to re-marry my husband just so Gok can dress me. He is amazing.
She is so beautiful, she would look amazing in any dress. The last one looked heavenly with her hair though
Only watch Gok say yes to the dress , he always has time and empathy for the brides , we all need a Gok
She could wear all the styles of dresses and STILL looking amazing, stunning and beautiful!!!
She’s a pure model! Her face, her look, her eyes, hair ! Everything looks ... like. A vision 🥰🤩🤩🤩
She looked absolutely STUNNING in every dress that she tried on. And with that haircut, she seemed straight out of Downton Abbey.
She's one of the most stunning brides I've seen on this show. Moreover, she was born to rock the 1920s' aesthetic. I can't help swooning 😍
I don't think I've ever watched a clip from this show where I liked every single dress, until now because these were all stunning!! as was the bride
That last dress was absolutely AMAZING on her! She's gorgeous!!
She’s rocking the 20s style so much its making me envious. Gorgeous queen 10/10
I don’t even like sparkle, but all the three dresses were breathtaking. The last one was a slayer.
She looked great in everything.
I'm happy for her but jealous at the same time. Like damn
@@alfiona7951 Now imagine you’re her sister 😅😂😂
That last dress is perfect for her. She's got the look of a 20's Flapper and it's incredible to see her in that dress.
The moment i saw her i just loved her hair, her body and everything! She's gorgeous
She has such beautiful coloring, she is perfection!
1 - Gok is amazing, so so amazing
2 - Raven is amazing, so so amazing - & has the most stunning smile
They both have the greatest spirit too !
I love these 1920s style dresses. OMG the selection of the dress chosen in this episode is better than most of the ones in Kleinfeld.
Raven made the right choice. She looks amazing! Gok does it best!
Gok doesn't sell dresses. He is a therapist 😊.
How can she not think she is stunning? beautiful face hair etc, and she seems so nice.
This bride is absolutely stunning well done Gok!!!
hats off to Gok🙌🙌 , how patiently he dealt with her ❣️❣️
I can’t even imagine knowing the emotions she’s expressing. It’s got to be so hard. She’s so beautiful and so radiant.
The plain white dress was the best one...
Gok is a life coach as well as stylist. His subtle build ups are great
That high neck halter one that was solid white, with that cape, was TO DIE FOR on her omg. So gorgeous.
