(There are two quick edits during the last 10 minutes of the video due to my recording devices running out of memory. There is only about 10 seconds of discussion missing where those edits occur.)
Oh i'm so glad Buddy showed up. He made that movie.
I so agree with you about Buddy. He was the main reason I first started watching this movie.
NatureGirl Buddy was my idol, I was the same age as him when this came out.
His little brother was on the first Tremors movie.
Yep
Nature: Sooo true.
Billy Zabka is such a great actor. So happy he doing well and enjoying his success. He was the perfect teenage villain and on my tv everyday.
He has a cooking show on youTube now where he travels Asian countries ;)
It's hard to not call him Johnny Lawrence.
This was pre cobra Kai
he was good at playing an A-Hole
@soundbreak7 Greg tolan: That a-hole called me an a-hole?
I love this. this is literally one of my "comfort" movies!!! so many memories! at one point within the last few years I kept this DVD inside the player and went to sleep every night while watching it. other than teen witch, they don't make magic movies like this anymore! right on!!
AGREED!! Teen Witch?? I remember that Damn film!👍👍
It is truly something special. Just watched it again for the first time in forever.
Travis Mcleod this is the best definition ever! Comfort movies! I do the same. My definition word for that is when I say: I’m gonna enter into my own great world today and stay there”. This happens when I have busy weeks in a row. Then I just turn everything off, go to the grocery store and get some treats, and then lay back on the couch for hours! 😂😂😂😂 everyone should have this moment every once in a while! It resets your mind and sets you free from artificial medicines!
That's the perfect way to describe this movie for me as a comfort movie..!!
My sentiment exactly! Well put and great taste in movies. Ha
It’s really cool to see William sit here having a good time and having no idea what is ahead of him with cobra Kai. Great actor. Glad he’s back.
Definitely. So happy that he and Ralph have had such a resurgence.
"All balls itch, it's a fact" awesome
I love that scene! "First... you got your basic shift". Hahaha!
Still my favorite line from any movie ever.
"You got balls now. Use em."
This is one of those moments when you realize you ARE NOT the only person that loves this film!!!!!!!!!
This is probably the most watched movie in my life. Never gets old.
Me too I love it
Used to watch it everyday for a time as a kid. Buddy was awesome. Greg tolan cracked me up. Teri was a babe and still is wow.
I watched it 3 times just while reading this comment.
It's one of my most paused movies.
I love it so much I bought it on Amazon so I can watch it whenever I want 🥰
"Where do you get off having tits?!!"
One of the greatest lines in cinema history, on par with "Rosebud" and "Here's looking at you kid".
+BloodofPatriots I remember that, LOL!!
🤣 Oh he was pissed off coming from that scene.
Missing Sherilyn Finn, the one who fed the fish. She was a major part of the movie.
U guys like pizza??
"I feel like an invader from the Planet of the Sluts."
Sherilyn Fenn who played Sandy, and Kevin, Terri's boyfriend. I would have liked to have seen both.
She was so hot in The Wraith, which is free on UA-cam right now.
Got to meet Sherilyn up in Washington a few years back at the Twin Peaks festival, super sweet.
Joyce Hyser was perfect casting for that part. She was appropriately strong and pretty as Terri, but was still comically funny and likable as Terry.
Yeah, except that she was 28
Bud was funny as fuck in this movie. Great character
+SLIP NORRIS He was such a Playboy addict and did not hide anything when his sis would come in the room. Remember those pictures all over his wall?
He was the inner voice of all teenage boys! His character was so funny, but he spoke it, he had no filter.
Aren't you embarrassed?
No! I'm h**ny, h**ny will kick embarrassed butt anyday haha
Joyce Hyser still has the exact same unique voice.
From that alone, she's immediately recognizable.
I think she is from New Jersey
Deb too
Bruce Springsteen as well
literally just said the exact same thing to my girlfriend
Sir William Zabka, Esq. III is quite exquisite in everything he does.
He's still Dreamy
God yes
Loved this movie since I was a kid back in the 80s. Cool memories!
"She ran away with a cult she saw on 60 min.. It's all in the letter"
Shamalamadingdong C who did
Marshan Thomas clearly you havent watched
My favorite!! 😃
How do I look? Dashing
Oh my zipper's open..
That was the dashing part 😄
Wanna split her records?
The director barely shut up. Would have been nice to hear more from the actors.
Agreed
I was going to mention that actually but did not want to be a dougie downer. She spoke way more than ANYONE else and I guarantee you majority of people watching this video felt same way
Yes. And when she talks about the meetings she had with the executives after the movie I don't believe that she said that to them. Also she says this movie made almost fifty million dollars. I'm not sure why she couldn't just be there to represent the movie and let the cast contribute more. I agree
I also still to this day say Cyndi "Lowper". My wife gets it. My daughter has no idea. 😆
I’m so happy this happened. Everyone looks so good. Come on Sony release the Blu-ray DVD with commentary from the cast. And a sequel 🤞🏽
Toni Hudson is still a doll.
80s Forever
I loved that movie, Joyce Hyser is wonderful. Great memories.
"Budmeister you ok?" "No Terri, I'm not!" Wow seeing this cast reunion & I nearly cried. So good to see them all reunited! Thank god Buddy showed up! And damn Denise still looks good! Truly one of the best 80s comedy movies! Just remember "All Balls itch, it's a fact!" 😂😊😢😂😊
One of my favorite films from the 80s
Billy Zabka rules. Loved him in The Equalizer T.V. show.
Now he is doing amazing in Cobra Kai!
Buddy was the BEST!
I love that Buddy is wearing a TLC shirt.
Buddy was that guy
@@krlm2280sure is!
Of all the billions of UA-cam videos this is the one I come back to the most & watch crazy nostalgia 80’s is the best feeling in the world
I remember when I was little my mom would rent movies and let us watch them after dinner and bath.... JUST ONE OF THE GUYS is one of the movies she rented. I was 9 when this movie came out... One of my favorites!!!
I still can't believe that it was 30 years ago back in 1985 when "Just One of the Guys" came out. A very funny movie, still funny to this day and I love it. The cast and crew are awesome. They are still great, loved this reunion here in this video, too bad that Sherilyn Fenn and Robert Fieldsteel were not there at that reunion. I love this reunion!
jeffman52001 Where Is Sherilynn Fenn???
She couldn't make it.
Now 35.
THIS is one of the things I miss about living in LA. It is a candy store of revival screenings, and easily arranged panel discussions like this. Yes I have a Just One of the Guys DVD and it is a go to 80's fest type of movie.
I remember seeing Joyce Hyser in Dan Hartman's music video for "I Can Dream About You".
Recently watched this movie and it still holds up. Happy for the rebirth William has gotten through the Cobra Kai series. Can’t get enough 80’s nostalgia!
Billy Jane showing up with drink in hand, TLC shirt on, ready to go!!! Haha the party just arrived.
Amazing movie that we watched million times as kids. So cool they came together for this
Thanks for the walk down Memory Lane. Great 80's Film! The Cast looks GREAT!
Wonderful cast loved the movie all of them did a wonderful job
THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED COMEDIES IN CINEMATIC HISTORY...
I HAVE BEEN INTO THIS MOVIE SINCE IT CAME OUT WHEN I WAS IN MY EARLY TEEN'S,,, AMEN!!!
AND STILL LOVE SAID TO THIS DAY!!!
I HAVE THE STANDARD DVD 📀 FOR THE FILM AND LOOK AT IT ONCE EVERY TWO YEARS OR SO!!!
WONDERFUL MOVIE!!!
WOULD LOVE TO SEE A SEQUEL AND OR A REMAKE,,, AMEN!!!
AND THANKS FOR POSTING THIS MAN!!! REALLY ENJOYED!!!
Great movie!! One of favorite movies, and William Zabka the best and most charming youth villain forever🥰
This movie gave me a reason to use the "slow" feature on my vcr.
I was so sad Billy wasn't there... and then he comes up after the movie ends! yeah!
This movie was on heavy HBO rotation back when my family first got cable
Oh. I remember and loved every bit of it as an 8, 9 year old 😊.
Great 80's movie ... Great cast
Egad, now it's almost 40 years ago. Such a delightful movie, right at home in the pantheon of the great 80s teen comedies.
I can't believe how much T&A was in this movie. I think it was rated like PG-13. The 80s were great when it came to lack of censorship.
Just watched this lastnight. Y'all ain't lying about the director. The cast should of did a audio commentary (if they haven't) while they were together. Minus director.
Yes cause that director would want to do the majority of the narration and 99% of the fans watching do NOT really want to hear from her
Wow! So much memories from teenagers era. This movie was an Icon from 80´s. Perfect cast, perfect story, perfect music and perfect girls!!!
The most drop dead fabulous comedy. EVER!
As a Gen-X'er I was truly blessed being able to grow up in the 80's and have movies with the soundtracks that pushed them like this to look back on. And this comes from a man who, as a youth of fourteen years of age, recalled that in his past life he campaigned under Alexander the Great as one of his soldiers. True story, guys. :)
Joyce is fine ... I had the craziest crush on her as a kid in this movie ... bless her
It's alright, he has tits
Casting was Perfect & So was the Directing but Screen Play Writers were the Real Stars. BRILLIANTLY WRITTEN! Dennis Feldman & Jeff Franklin.
I'm so glad this was put together. I've been watching this movie since I was a kid and still enjoy it! Glad I'm not the only one who questioned the way Cyndi "Lauper" was pronounced hahah
Me too
Cyndi laOWper
One of the greatest movies ❤❤❤ definitely a comfort movie! Showed it to my kids and they loved it!
My favorite movie of all time! Have seen it a million times. I kid you not; I know the entire movie by memory! (All characters' lines) 😉
Wonderful to see all these talented people who were involved making this great film. Thanks to all.
I am with tears in my eyes, wonderful moment!
Saw this literally 5 times at at the movies in 85 and owned it on both VHS and DVD for years.
Best teen movie ever
Zabka is the best prick of all time and now he is the hero. The worm turns. Dude never gets old.
The director ruined the reunion. I wonder if the cast was annoyed by her
This movie is just a classic I'm watching it right now on pluto TV love it.
God, you guys weren't kidding about the director lol
Agreed. I had to turn it off before the 10 minute mark.
Glad she helped get the movie made, but I didn't click to hear her talk the whole time, esp with the cast she had.
I was thinking the same about the nostop talk from the director.
And poor Joyce standing in the dark corner all that time ( unless she preferred not to be in the middle of the spotlight).
And the arm gesticulating was quite distracting as well.
Love seeing these reunions from my favorite 80's movies. Thanks much. Hope that special edition Bluray happens.
The one of the best movies that I saw in my life. And I still watching this movie sometimes. Amazing to see all actors together. From Brazil.
terri and rick were 28 in the film. crazy.
Steve...... I know they always use 28 to 30 year olds to play a high school character Lol. And "Deborah" the homecoming queen looked about 35 when she did this movie. Sandy is Sherilyn Fenn, Johnny Depps ex girlfriend. They were together for a couple years.
Sherliyn Fenn is an actor in her own right, not just "Johnny Depp's ex- girlfriend."
smartbunny I know I have seen her in other movies.
Where is Sherylin Fenn?
Yep the 80s were crazy like that but it worked like perfection!
Damn, the ladies are still smoking hot.
I literally just showed my 21yr old son this movie for the first time a week ago, and he loved it as I knew he would 😏💯💯
this girl had an amazing body
Theses new chicks today have nothing on her
Im watching this Classic right now!! Great to see all the great actors together so many yrs later. Such a great classic movie #80sRock
One of my favorites! And since I was about seven years of age when it came out, I can watch it again today at the age of 36 with even more appreciate.
How did I not know about this amazing night??? I would have paid good money to be there. PLEASE HAVE ANOTHER ANNIVERSARY SCREENING with cast!! 🙏🙏🙏
It's 2024, and all balls itch, it's still a fact.
Buddy had so many amazing lines. Great character. Bring back the 80s this 2020 stuff SUCKS
Even when Hollywood tries to duplicate the 80's, it f*ckin' sucks!
Quite bummed that I didn't know about this (having worked on the movie myself) so thanks for posting, awesome!
What was your designation on the film?
Probably Production Assistant...was a long time ago so I'd have to look at my crew list :-)
I will tell Lisa you send your 'regards and wish you could have been there' :)
Thanks so much, I did send her a Facebook msg. however...I have some pics from the shoot in an album on my fb page...I was 24 btw, such fun times on that shoot!
Kristi Anne do you have any means to acquire the song "Gone Too Far" by Neurotica from the soundtrack? I and MANY others have been searching for it for years!
FOR US THAT LOVE THIS FILM AND THIS TIME OF THESE MOVIES - IS A GREAT MOMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARE THE BEST!
I love this movie. :)
Gotta give this movie a revisit! Seems like outside of the title it's been forgotten by the masses! Really fun cast!
i found this movie and watched it for the first time about a month ago. I absolutely fell in love with it and have since watchet about 5 times. Now I've tripped over this gem and I love it.
I saw this for the first time when I was nine, it was my favorite movie. I loved Perfect too. I was a precocious child 😂. Still watch both movies once or twice a year ❤️.
The actor that played the horny brother looks great! He's aged well
Thank you Deborah.
Why is Joyce standing off to the side and not with her old cast?
I wish I had been at this event!
Live in the phoenix area and drove past the house used in the movie. What a cool experience.
Lisa Gottlieb shoulda made it big with lots of movies. She deserved it. A master of comedy. Not sure why it didnt happen for her.
One of my favorite movies! The good old days for me lol
I wish I coulda been there. Hope they do another real soon.
lol, William Zabka is the MAN
he got to meet james brown so kool..
I wish soooo had I could have gone to this! This was and is one of my FAVORITE 80’s movies! It is so good to see the cast again ☺️
Classic 80's flick. We need a JOTG part 2!
They made Just One of the Girls with Corey Haim
@31:54 yes I am definitely one of those audience members who first experienced the movie around 1995-96where it was always on HBO back when I was in elementary school lol 💯
Coming up on the 40 year anniversary!!! Time is an illusion! It’s all in our heads. Expect for the body aging and dying thing! Damn! I’m bummed now
I love it. They need to do this with more movies. And Zapka doesn’t age.
almost painful to watch. director should've sat down and let the cast members talk.
jihmns1 I know shes a hog
This was undoubtedly the one and only time that group will ever be assembled after the movie and she ran over them for the most part.... BUT, my hat's off to her.... she is the only reason we got that glorious ending to the movie!
Thanks exactly what I thought
I agree with you !!! Thanks
jihmns yeah she was hogging their spotlight. The actors deserved more face time, that’s who we want to hear from.
I just watched it about two weeks ago and still LOVE this movie💛.
Terry believed in herself and went after her dreams💛. Despite her teacher’s doubt, she won the contest and got a good job.
Buddy is a whole other story, he is a trip🤣🤣🤣!
Rick got sick of Greg’s constant bullying people, and used wit to put an end to it in front of the very people that Greg would torment on daily basis.
My favorite funny part is when Rick took a stand…. I was ROLLING🤣🤣🤣!!! Rick takes a stand and says in front of the whole cafeteria “Um, excuse me. Could I have your attention please? Your attention? Every day at lunch, we get a very special treat from a very special guy. A guy who has dedicated his life to building his body, pushing his muscles to the very limits of human endurance. Why, you ask? Why? Well, to be strong enough to lift tables and spill food, Greg Tolan! Whoa, wait. Let's take a moment to find out a little bit about the man behind the mess. Greg, May I call you Greg? Now, tell us, Greg, how did you get into spilling food, huh? Were you a messy baby?” 🤣🤣🤣!!! Did you hate your string peas? ….. Hey, isn't he great? Muscles and a sense of humor. Well, let's thank Greg for the many lunchtime thrills and spills he's given us. All right everybody, up! Come on, everybody up! Grab an end of your table . Rick points out to Greg then says, A tribute to you, Greg. Lift! (Rick’s body motions🤣🤣🤣🤣 lifts up both of is hands as if lifting weights🤣🤣🤣!!! And the look on Greg’s face🤣🤣🤣!!! We love you, Greg!🤣🤣🤣!!!
The very two referred to as nerds singing tease at Greg the body motions🤣🤣🤣!!!! Buddy walks up and says to Greg you dropped some pizza. Greg looks down at his feet then looks toward everyone going out. The look on his face🤣🤣🤣!!!
I STILL love this movie💛😂😂😂.
One of my favourite teenage films and the cast look great. Joyce has aged well too :)
Love this one of the best movies of my teens loved this classic movie its a gem good to see everyone
Just rewatched it the other night............would have loved to been at this screening!
"I've had sex, I've had lots of sex, but now I like to try it with a partner" lol. I introduced this movie to my girlfriend and she said the brother is what made the movie.
LOL....😃👍True that!
This was an awesome 80's movie. The cast still looks good and has not changed that much at all.
I agree. I never get tired of watching this movie.
Wow-I'm absolutely loving this! Always loved this film, and now this! Great to see all the gang so many years later, also the fact they took the trouble to put together a fantastic reunion-love u guys!!
Ps happy anniversary! X
One of my all-time favorite movies!!! And I love all the cast members to 💥😍
Ok. Joyce Hyser is what, 60 years old? How the hell does she look no older than 35?
She must have great genes that's all i can say.
Joyce Hyser also appeared inside the late Dan Hartman's "I Can Dream About You" video
Oh yes, she is.. She's still a beautiful girl
Red Fullpack Human
Great to see them years later all still friends. You can definitely feel the love.
