What good babies…some of the people on these videos make it look soooo easy to brush their teeth. I’m relieved to see that even the best behaving kitties aren’t opening up wide to accommodate the way too big brushes they provide with the paste. I am going to try using a piece of gauze wrapped around finger tip with the toothpaste. Thanks for sharing, your cats are adorable!!
What are you waiting for!?! I don’t know how I survived without one for the year before I rescued my latest kitty. She has been a gift sent straight from God and I honestly don’t know if I would have made it through Covid times without her. She definitely rescued me and I had no idea what I was missing!!! Get to an adoption! Adopt a full grown cat…they’re just as loving and playful as the kittens and need homes more!! The kittens always find homes, I URGE you to adopt an adult and prepare for the most rewarding relationship of your life!!! You won’t regret it.
Lol I need to buy this for my cats. My 11yr old gray tabby has nice clean breath but my 2yr old black cat has the most awful breath 🤣 she probably needs a good cleaning lol what is the liquid treats? I keep seeing it online in videos but I've never seen it in the store
None of my 8 cats have ever reacted to their tooth brushes (freak out about these) or toothpaste (drool and run around with these, as if it’s the worst tasting medicine in the world) like this. I’ve tried every trick in the book, but they still act as if I’m poisoning them.
Great you're actually doing it, however I don't understand your concept of using 'treats' mixed with toothpaste. It's like putting sugary 'treats' on a child's toothbrush... then wondering why they don't want to/aren't as willing and cooperative..when the 'treats' are removed. It also defeats the purpose of removing what causes plaque to begin, by adding it.... :-\ Also, the actual toothpaste is a treat in itself so nothing _needs_ to be added, but in saying that...it isn't supposed to be used as 'food', by adding more and more to their brush because that way just teaches them to lick it off, and be rewarded for doing so..rather than learning to let the brush enter their mouth, etc. This may work for your own pet, but I wouldn't suggest it as a 'way' to teach others. It can actually create more issues and make it harder for a cat to actually allow their teeth to be actually 'cleaned'. I understand completely that ppl want to reward their cat/s for allowing their teeth to be brushed, but their are other ways to reward your animals..without treats all the time, especially when it comes to teeth cleaning and oral care.
Hey, I just want to say your cat looks great But can you help me because you have some experience so i want to guess my cat's age (if you want) he weight 5 pounds and 30 teeth (The body looks big and not fat at all)

My kitten is food aggressive. I’m sure she won’t be gentle like your cats when I try to brush her 😭

My cat also. It looks like the trick is to brush their teeth with purée treats! I’m going to try that!

At what age should you start brushing your cat’s teeth
I think you should consult a vet for a better answer 😉 but we started brushing our cats' teeth when they were a little over an year old
Ok thanks
But start training them when they are young so they are used to the feeling
I have a street cat.. But It is necessary to brush the teeth of the cats??? 🙄🙄🙄🤔
It's recommended to a degree you are not stressing out the cat too much 😄
