Overclock it to more power than AMD A10 and same power as i5.
There are really TWO ways to overclock the CPU, but only ONE dont throttle: you can use Msi Afterburner to overclock K16 cpus BYPASSING the PowerPlay mode ON when using SAving mode = 4x2,4ghz but it make the CPU throttle on 3d mode so low fps gaming… better to use K15TK only.
Here is the WORKD RECORD for A6-6310/A8-6410, Will work on A8-7410/A9-9410... and ALL K16 APU (cpu&gpu) i set it on 2017 =) i set more power récords on 3dmark... etc. Now you can enjoy CASUAL GAMING POWER on your AMD k16 laptop.

Tell me if you want to overclock K15 processors on get any problema with K16 processors.
Force it to work at max speed all cores:
- Set the AMD from high performance to power saving
- Configure MSI afterburner: 1Extend limits 2DisableULPS 3UnofcicialOverc (withoutpowerplay)
- Restart if needed, then Apply MSI afterburner to more speed, CPU Will go from 1,8 to 2,4.
- Open K15tk and congif all states to first number (max) click right button (apply).
Now CPU is locked with to run at 2,4ghz all cores as you can see in THIS VIDEO playing games. Only with K15tk it can thottle to 1,8 when gaming. If dont go more tan 1,8ghz, set high performance mode then power saving another time and try another time.
Anyway forcé disabling antialiasing. You can bypass the CPU to 2,4ghz from power saving to max speed with AfterB or K15tk to get 2,4ghz all cores, but both together can hold the CPU working at max speed.
ALL with oem drivers or catalyst ones, dont work on newer drivers.
Can I use new drivers from AMD? Or the ones that came with the 2016 laptop

@@androks9499 "Msi Afterburner" allow you to set GPU to max speed… using OLD DRIVERS from catalyst type, not new ones. Use MSIafterburner+K15tk to overclock the AMD laptops.

Msconfig is a myth, it has been debunked and it does not affect the amount of cpu cores in use.

You can see it on Gpuz screen at the video 16.5.1 but really are catalyst 13.7 the last catalyst, crymson are bad.

@@Sadaf-tr2gm twice the fps good! you can lower the temperature using some FAN TABLE under the laptop there are few than connect to the USB. Also there is a program called "notebook fan control" that allow you to set fan to max speed.

If system need more than 512 it will take it from ram. 1024mb minimum is for 8gb ram. Actually lower dedicated memory is better because games will run on lower settings. If more memory is needed it will take it from ram, and because its shared ram, speed is the same.
i upgraded mine (Aspire E5 521) and the memory is 1 gb now

@@frhn707 you had to set all P States to 3, also you need Afterburner to set Gpu to max speed or it will lag because overclock works on ECO MODE, you had to increase Cpu and Gpu manually then. With Catalyst force disabling antialiasing and force anisotropic to 4x only to avoid fps drops.
I can't get this to work on the AMD a6-5200 apu
You need to set the laptop on power saving and then apply K15TK and active cpu BOOST and HIGH stock SPEED, or on power saving Mode open MsiAfterburner go to optipns disable powerplay and apply a bit of overclock it will set cpu to max SPEED all cores
A8-7410 Successfully go to 2,5 with peak temp 87 at 114% cooler speed.

You can check my 617 points in the CPU-Z bench by validation id "2en6he". For some reason, I also did underclocking up to 300mhz, which turned out to be stable.
@pk5l ouip k15 only manages cpu. Your problem is caused by driver policies and cannot be solved by the methods of this utility. @Androks already talked about his iGPU, but the author of the video replied that he mentioned MSI Afterburner.

@pk5l ouip set Gpu speed to max with msi afterburner. This overclock works on POWER SAVING MODE and you had to set Cpu and Gpu to max speed.

On settings and disable antialiasing and set anisotropic to 4x... The Gpu cant handle effects better to disable them or it can crash. If APU goes so Hot it can crash too, you can lower the cpu speed to 2,2 or the Gpu to 650 If your laptop overheats... I had no problem even iverheating when the graphic effects disabled on Catalyst center.

Yes works, it made Cpu and Gpu not throttling, valid for non-ryzen amd. Your Cpu when gaming throttle to 1,4ghz...with this it will run at fixed speed of máx non turbo, depending on your non turbo speed. Its bad Ryzens had no catslyst or tweaker like that. Also make the Cpu go at máx speed all cores when not using Gpu, so the increase is on both.

@@cesarsaray4277 eso es por que el K15tk has de ponerlo en "modo ahorro" que desactiva el turbo, y tu actuvas el turbo manualmente con K15tk para que funcione a maxima velocidad... pero como esto se hace en modo ahorro, hace falta MSI afterburner para que la GPU no se quede en velocidad de ahorro... y le das a maxima velocidad y luego apply, y solo funciona con CATALYST los drivers originales/antiguos.

FX8800P is a K15, you can do it, and more than this: on K15 APU's when you do that, your GPU changes from PCIE4x to 16x so GRAPHICS will run a lot faster. Set your CPU on power saving and 100% speed. Then use K15tk and msi afterburner. I tested it with A10-7300P and turbo dont worked but K15 alow to run at 1.9ghz(max speed non turbo) and K15 GPU gets 50% more performance on benchmarks because running at 16x pcie and not 4x (you need to set max speed with msi afterburner). Your FX will run at max non turbo speed, but GPU gets more power. K15tk is intended for K15 apus like FX8800p, but works on K16.

Just check the temperature, the overclock only bypass the 15w power limit of the laptop, your laptop has more powerful versiones this only get the Apu to work using 25w like a desktop one. Anyway all laptop are ready for 25w, the only problem is that your laptop bios dont move fan at full speed, so just check the temperature. There are program to increase fan speed like NotebookFanControl.

With any Catalyst driver is easier to do. But anyway you can set the AMD at "power saving" and "minimal cpu use 100% with battery" on Windows Power Plan Settings (battery tray icon). Your A9-9410 has a K16 IMC chipset too so you can use K15tk to fix Cpu to max non turbo speed, i think is 2.9ghz or so. Watch carefull the C-states to set the maximum nonturbo frecuency like in the video. Catalyst are good because better FPS and allow you to use Afterburner to set GPU at max speed (because the overclock is done on power saving mode then manually set speeds to 100%)

Why does my laptop screen goes black when i press apply on tk15? It goes to normal after i restarted it. (AMD A8-6410)
Only apply K15tk with Cpu at max speed on power saving AMD mode or it will crash, If cpu are throttling it will crash, like running on battery, to apply K15tk you need to set Cpu speed to 100% on power settings before open K15tk, then set 0% of you want to recover low speed (with K15tk you can undervolt and underclock even state7, but K15tk only opens when 100% cpu speed). Remember on the 3 buttons at bottom corner: right button is Apply and left is Save, If you save wrong settings before applying them, K15 must crash too and you need to deleite the config file on K15 folder.

@@aeref6498 on Catalyst, Cpu menu, or SIMPLY editing windows power plant and set Cpu minimum speed to 100%, use K15tk, then set Cpu minimum speed to 0%.I do that for use K15tk on battery mode to set the cpu... At 600mhz only and lasts 9hour battery (you can set screen scan from 60 to 40mhz too on windows screen settings). If you broken K15tk config Just delete the config file. A6-6310 must be on 2ghz to apply K15tk, maximum power saving speed.

@@aeref6498 check your config, probably your procesador has different config. What is the state number for 2ghz speed (max non turbo) If you set a Turbo speed on the Cstate boxes system will crash, 3 is the typical but may differ.

2. Download the x64.zip file(41.4kB)
3. Extract thr x64.zip . Copy the 4 files inside it.
4. Paste it in the same folder where k15tk application is present.
Now the application will start.

If you go "msconfig" on "advanced boot" and enable only 3 cores, you dont need k15tk only set GPU to top speed on Afterburner, because disabling 1 core means: thorttling disabled, and with overclock when GPU load is 100% CPU turbo deactivates if CPU load is not 100%, not all games use 4 cores. The K15tk method can be used to save battery and use all cores at top speed, but if dont work disabling one core will be an option for games that dont use four cores.

im using the new one... its also work on it too... with a total score of cpu z benchmarking its multi thread is 588.7 and its single thread is 148.4
EDIT: I just downgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 7 and installed the old AMD Catalyst ill come up with better result... It has 598.8 Multi Thread with 150.8 Single thread.

ok confirmed the core boost but only if use the 3 cores alternative in "msconfig" now when set the 1040mhz in msi afternurner the screen freezes while the cpu cooler speed up soo much, thats all...
Set power saving Mode and cpu set to 100%, 1.8ghz on your CPU, then use K15TK, then configure afterburner with the powerplay options i said on comments, set it to 799mhz if you dont want to crash.

YOU need to set Gpu speed to max with Msi Afterburner like i said in first comments. Or Gpu will run at 300mhz instead of 800 ;)
@@rthyom9873 you need to ser Gpu speed to max on Msi Afterburner, and i tell you igpu R5 has same power as R5 m240... The think about your Gpu is to use "hybrid crossfire" so both gpus run at same time, search for crossfire drivers.

this does not always work, K15TK has a chance of screwing up the P-states of the IGP, so you'll be stuck on 400mhz until an OS nuke, blame amd for leaving the last 3 generations before zen a chaotic mess for tweakers

@@SargentoDuke msi ab doesn't solve the core issue of broken gpu p state, cause once it happens it will get locked to 400mhz until an os nuke, cause a driver reinstall doesn't fix it hence the "doesn't always work" statement. I tried this on the G40-45 A6-6310. Dunno what ur facepalming about
@@Atreea it solves it if you configure MSI Afterburner to RESET THE DRIVER after apply changes, obviously if the driver do a live restart dont have any 3d program open. Im sorry in the video is not show how configure MSI Afterburner to overclock the GPU but is not that hard and its on the comments. Actually MSI Afterburner sets the Cpu too to max speed but not disable the throttling that is the only work for K15tk. And use all ways the old catalyst oem drivers not newer ones. If the IGP driver restarts... There is no way it stay STUCK at 400mhz, it throttles for Watt TDP not for temperature, you can see a video of that APU at 90 degrees and still running.
how to make it permanent ?
Fix the K15tk icon to start menu. Remember on K15t corner button right is for apply, left is for save settings so when you open it loads.
Maximum gpu core ?
This video is to overclock to maximum speed, so the laptop dont underclock to half the speed, if you dont lock cpu or gpu to max speed, the real speed of gpu is 667mhz or even 400mhz, same for the cpu because its a laptop. Maximum gpu core is 800mhz but some laptop bios allow to overclock it to 1040mhz.

If you had a K15 chipset... You need to use Windows to use K15tk 🙏 if you use Linux, try MsiAfterburner if it do something, set the GPU in poder saving, then load Afterburner with power play disable, then apply max clocks for gpy
