Dosa and chutney is the actual speciality there. Sambar should not have been mixed. The chutney has a very strong flavour of green chilli, without being too spicy.

തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറയില്‍ ഞാന്‍ പോയിട്ടുണ്ട് , ആ അമ്പലത്തിലും പോയിട്ടുണ്ട് . ഒന്‍പത് വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുന്നേ SN junction ല്‍ കഥകളിലൊക്കെ വായിച്ച് അറിഞ്ഞത് പോലെ ഈ ലോകത്തുളള എല്ലാ ഐശ്വരവ്യും മുഖത്തുളള തെളിനിലാവ് പോലെ പുഞ്ചിരിയുമുളള ഒരു അമ്മയും , ഈ ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും പാവമായ ഒരച്ഛനും . അന്നവരെനിക്ക് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് ഊണ് തന്നു. കുത്തരി ചോറ് , മാമ്പഴ പുളളിശ്ശേരി , വെണ്ടയ്ക്ക മെഴുക്കു പുരട്ടി , കണ്ണിമാങ്ങ അച്ചാര്‍ , കൊണ്ടാട്ടം മുളക് , പപ്പടം ഒപ്പം പാലട പ്രഥമനും . വീണ്ടും ഒരിക്കല്‍ കൂടി ഞാനവിടെ പോയി , അന്നായിരുന്നു ജീവിത്തില്‍ ആദ്യമായി ബോളി കഴിച്ചത് , ഒപ്പം നല്ല നെയ്യില്‍ ചുട്ട ഉണ്ണിയപ്പവും . ആദ്യത്തെ തവണ അവിടെ പോയത് ജീവിതത്തിലെ ഒരു വലിയ മാറ്റത്തിന് തീരുമാനം എടുക്കാന്‍ ആയിരുന്നു , രണ്ടാമത്തെ തവണ ആ തീരുമാനത്തിലോട്ട് പറക്കാനും . എന്റെ ആരുമല്ലാഞ്ഞിട്ടും , ഞാനുമായി ഒരു തരത്തിലും ബന്ധമില്ലാഞ്ഞിട്ടും എനിക്ക് ഒരുപാട് വഴിപാടുകള്‍ നടത്തി നിറഞ്ഞ മനസ്സോടെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ച് യാത്രയാക്കിയതാണ് .സത്യത്തില്‍ എന്നെക്കാള്‍ ഉപരി അവരും പറ്റിക്കപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു ആ യാത്ര അവസാനിച്ചത് ഇന്നേവരെ അനുഭവിച്ചതില്‍ വെച്ച് ഏറ്റവും വലിയൊരു ദുരന്തത്തിലേക്കായിരുന്നു . അതില്‍ നിന്ന് പുറത്ത് വരാനും , മറക്കാനും ഒരുപാട് സമയം വേണ്ടി വന്നു . ഈ സ്ഥലങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ അതൊക്കെ ഓര്‍മ്മ വരുന്നു . അവര് വിളമ്പിയ സ്നേഹവും , രുചിയും മരണം വരെ മറക്കുകയും ഇല്ല .
