Both weavers and corpse creepers make me want to bodyslam them into a pit of spikes. Luckily, corpse creepers are also kind of stupid. First one I "killed", I didn't even know was there. I killed the husk, started the platforming over the spikes, then heard something die on said spikes and saw my journal being updated.
@@electroshockgamer2733 I dream nailed it accidentally, saw it move from knock back. No corpse moves from dream nail knock back. I have tested it. After that I knocked it into the spikes
@@benningtonmichael5764 You can't even dream nail an enemy corpse at all. It's only the corpses that are already in the environment, like the ones leading to Nosk's lair.
I’ve found that Grimmchild seems to always know which ones are going to move so he lets me know by repeatedly blasting it in the face. But he is also a little trigger happy and will shoot almost anything so it could also just be that.
It's not that the dirtcarvers just have low visibility, they have no visibility at all until they just suddenly pop out of the ground right next to you
I’ve come to realize what makes primal aspids so difficult. Usually when an enemy in a game launches some kind of projectile, you stand still, wait and then jump out of the way the moment they shoot. But the aspid’s spittle didn’t aim at where you **were.** It always manages to aim where you **are** the second it fires, which makes it really hard to time. And if you dodge the middle bullet, you get hit by one of the others (which is why no one really complains about regular aspids). Additionally a lot of flying enemies in HK sort of track your movement so that when you jump at them, they maintain the same distance and are impossible to hit with to your nail unless you have Mark of Pride, Long Nail and Mothwing Cloak- which of course still requires skill to avoid dashing face first into the enemy or falling off the platform into spikes or acid. They also take several hits to kill. So what you have is enemy you can only hit right as it is about to fire, but the second it fires the bullets are going exactly where you are and you have to choose to tank a few hits in order to kill it, and it takes a few hits which means you will too, and all of that while dealing with other aspids, other enemies, and the terrain. All at once.

I’m crying your commentary is so funny and it DOESN’T STOP OMG Let me breathe hang on The sheer level of loathing you have for these enemies combined with your hilarious use of words and the extremely chill jazz in the bg is SENDING me
I only discovered this video like a week ago and have already come back to watch it again 2-3 times because your script is just that tight and hilarious. Amazin!
Wait you’re actually rusty? I’ve been watching both superforge and TGN videos for a while and I’ve never realized they’re connected. I’ve been watching both channels individually for their own games. Quite a funny coincidence
@@Rusty._ I realised this only a few days ago cuz I started hollow knight recently, and you now have more in common with me in terms of interests that many of my friends
So why do UA-camrs create separate channels. I understand when your in a group and you just wanna do your own on the side. But here ,you're literally the same person.
A totally unrelated side note I just completed my first ever soul steel run.. it was my first attempt, got 101%, and also did it in 8 hours.. so there go the 3 most annoying achievements all in one go on my first try.. so glad i didn't have to do anything else AND i'm here to help everyone do this as well with some tips: All I can say is NAIL UPGRADES, FRAGILE STRENGTH, FRAGILE HEALTH, FRAGILE GEO... basically never do any bosses until you have at least 2-3 nail upgrades (just makes things faster).. the fragile strength is basically a free +1 to your nail upgrade and is super helpful especially since you have 1 life anyways. Fragile health gives you 2 more masks so in the early game helps out a ton so you don't feel stressed with 5 masks and gives more leeway if you want to be risky. Fragile geo just makes the game less grindy which would of made my 8 hour run be more like 12 hours just to get geo. Also before I even attempted my first soul steel run i finished the pantheon of Hallownest.. (you don't have to finish it just practice all the ascended bosses in the practice mode even if you can't beat them). doing all the bosses in ascended mode just makes the regular game seem 1000x easier. thats why it only took me one attempt, and the most dangerous parts are just stupid mistakes like falling in spikes/acid. IMPORTANT NOTE: due to the DLC updates there is a total of 112% in the game.. if you want to 100% the game in soul steel for the achievement you don't have to do everything in the base game. For example I didn't do the white palace to get the last charm + the abyss stuff (which is about 2%) and instead just collected the god tuner (which is 1% and all 4 masks 1%) instead. most people usually skip the 4 masks because of the flower quest but that is honestly the easiest thing in the game. Enemies don't re-spawn until you hit a bench so find your path to the grave, kill all the enemies working backwards to the flower, and then go back with no enemies (takes 10 min tops). I also skipped the LAST TRIAL OF FOOLS and only did the first 2 and substituted the last trail (1%) for something else.. I believe anyone can do it if you set your mind to it, and if you play carefully you will see its not as bad as you think
I will take that advise for steel soul mode There are some enemies that respawn even if you don't sit o the bench Thank you for give me the key for defeat the pantheons

Usually when an enemy in a game launches some kind of projectile, you stand still, wait and then jump out of the way the moment they shoot. But the aspid’s spittle didn’t aim at where you **were.** It always manages to aim where you **are** the second it fires, which makes it really hard to time. Agree with most of these, but I think the shadow creepers are pretty chill and cute (despite their name).
3:34 when I first played through with my dad I got to the waterways without him and described the sound as “ASMR from a drowning zombie”
2:46 just @ me bro
LOL
"You know what? fuck the deepnest, I'm going home"
Those were my exact thoughts when I first ventured into that filthy overgrown god forsaken unilluminated claustrophobia inducing ant farm.
The way you described everything made me smile, I love this so much
Me before fighting primal aspids, after hearing about them: It can't be THAT bad...
Me after: [ANGRY KNIGHT NOISES]
Loodles and primal aspids were the worst for me
Great Hoppers and Primal Aspids give me PTSD
For some reason I just used quickslash and slapped loodles outta the way. The knockback on them was the saving grace. But aspids....hell nah.
Crystal hunters were a bitch for a bit when I first encountered them.
P
In my opinion I see Primal Aspids as really easy.
I’m crying your commentary is so funny and it DOESN’T STOP OMG
Let me breathe hang on
The sheer level of loathing you have for these enemies combined with your hilarious use of words and the extremely chill jazz in the bg is SENDING me
Why can I physically feel the pain behind your words
I only discovered this video like a week ago and have already come back to watch it again 2-3 times because your script is just that tight and hilarious. Amazin!
Wait you’re actually rusty? I’ve been watching both superforge and TGN videos for a while and I’ve never realized they’re connected. I’ve been watching both channels individually for their own games. Quite a funny coincidence
Yep lol it me.
He's Rusty? I just realized that omg, that's why I recognized that beautif humor from somewhere else lol
“Shadow creepers the strange unexplained hybrid between a centipede and a fucking roomba”
I shit you not every time I hear this i laugh
I hate those mushrooms that shoot explosive spores at you, and they're almost always placed in platforming segments or with other enemies
I saw “leave me alone” and top 10 and my immediate thought was primal aspid is number 1
Glad to know I was right
Whenever I see a Primal Aspid, my brain goes "Oh god. It's hit-trade, the enemy."
A totally unrelated side note I just completed my first ever soul steel run.. it was my first attempt, got 101%, and also did it in 8 hours.. so there go the 3 most annoying achievements all in one go on my first try.. so glad i didn't have to do anything else
AND i'm here to help everyone do this as well with some tips:
All I can say is NAIL UPGRADES, FRAGILE STRENGTH, FRAGILE HEALTH, FRAGILE GEO... basically never do any bosses until you have at least 2-3 nail upgrades (just makes things faster).. the fragile strength is basically a free +1 to your nail upgrade and is super helpful especially since you have 1 life anyways.
I will take that advise for steel soul mode
There are some enemies that respawn even if you don't sit o the bench
Thank you for give me the key for defeat the pantheons
Instructions unclear, found the shade cloak before double jump and crytal heart.
This was the funniest enemy review ever 😂 love the insults, laughed too hard at "barking turnip."
Me: i want to donate really much money
Team cherry: so what do you want to add
Me: I don’t want to add, i want to delete
Team cherry: um what?
Me: you know what i am talkin bout delete them from HK and HK silksong
Team cherry: k
Introducing: Cthonic aspids, they spit 6 balls of pain, and will duplicate every 3 seconds!

Damn you, it was my surprise evolution!
Out of everything...moss chargers, belflies, grub mimics, great husks, soul twisters, explosive vengeflies...you're annoyed by Shadow Creepers?
1:56 Screw you guys, I'm going home xddd
Am I the only one who is terrified of those giant fluke thingies that live in corridors and try to run you over? Like seriously, those things are my WORST NIGHTMARE.
“Someone enthusiastically unclogging a toilet” sent me😂😂 mostly because Hornet’s VA is the one who voiced the flukes and the flukemarm and now I can’t get that image out of my head
Ok so I haven’t watched a lot of your videos I kinda just went on a short spree but GOOD GOD I LOVE HOW YOU PHRASE EVERYTHING IT IS SO GOD DAMN FUNNY
In no particular order, my list:
Primal Aspids (common, I know)
Infected Vengeflys
Infected Gruzers
Crystal Hunters
Loodles (regular)
Mantis Petras
Dirtcarvers
Oomas
Hive Soldiers
Anything with a shield (Husk Warriors, Great Husk Sentrys, etc.)
I definitely recognized ur voice from somewhere but didn’t know u were wth tgn until now😂
Great vid my guy
This is an old vid but I have no choice but to acknowledge the comedic genius of "The sound of someone enthusiastically unclogging a toilet." Bravo sir
I honestly felt like there was something i was missing when i first started the game and killed an Ooma. Nope.
Turns out they actually are just garbage.
at first, i was like "shadow creepers? really?" but now im trying to no hit my way to the lifeblood door and yep
IM DYING AT THE SHADOW CREEPERS PART,
I HAD TO PAUSE MY GAME BECAUSE OF
HOW MUCH I WAS LAUGHING
So I'm the only one who went to the waterways after getting two extra masks, a vessel fragment and two nail upgrades?
What makes this a great channel is that Rusty does not hold anything back when making an opinion (making him very relatable) plus he doesn't care about the consequences.
This guy made me laugh so damn hard I couldnt see
What I've come to learn from fighting primal aspids: there's no such thing as overkill.
I lost 8000 geo to flukemons. I was in mid game and saving for unbreakable strength
That thing that shoots crystals in that crystal mine pisses me off & pretty much everything in deepnest
I am crying! Why was this so accurately funny? Hahahaha
i LOVE the way you describe these. "spastic dolphin" "if i dont know where i am going then you sure as shit wont" "the sound of someone enthusiastically unclogging a toilet"
Man, my least favorite enemy was always the soul caster things. Similar to the volt twosters
baldurs are like smalls pebbles that you would be able to kick around but you end up tripping over them because its too stuck in the ground
That was perfect. Great commentary ;)
1:55 We’ve all had that exact thought before
Holy shit man I'm in tears
Where's the "I spawn a blue ball that farts poisonous gas and when it hits you directly you go straight to the hospital"
Thing about dirtcarvers is that they’re completely helpless to the pogo technique (not that that’s always possible in the deepnest)
(Oh, and fuckthedeepnestI’mgoinghome)
Overwatch is so toxic
Heard theories that Zote is a vessel, like the knight. I wish he was, because then he'd not be able to talk
If is one is twelve, me after stepping into teemo's mushroom
My personal Nr. 1 annoyance is the Mantis Ptera. Their projectiles are seemingly undodgeable and they always gang up on you in tight spaces like that gang of bullies in your old high school's hallways and will hurt you about as much.
It makes me happy to know that basically everyone in the Hollow Knight community absolutely despises the Primal Aspids as much as I do
The thing about running skull-first into that one projectile from the primal aspid is the most true thing of the decade
Flukefey uhhh, water just, you *can* midair attack, right?
Rusty: Top ten enemies that piss me off
Primal aspids: MY TIME HAS COME
Hermes to counter this enemy
Primal Aspid : GREATSLASH
Dirtcarver : PURE NAIL
Baldur : Coiled nail or Cyclone slash
Shadow creper : bruh this is not annnoying
Flukemom : Nail arts
Flukefey : any sword that can insta kill it
Fool Eater : understanding of the map
Volt Twister : i hasnt met this guy yet..
Loodles : FUUUUUU
Great hopper : shadow cloak
I swear those hopping spiders jump where you're about to walk.
The stupid passive jellyfish. You can literally leave them alone but my dumb butt wanna mess around and kill them only for their brain to track me and explode in my face. Idk why I don't leave them alone but I always lose health to them
the first insult my brother came up with for the fool eaters was "plantera lookin" and that sent me into an alternate realm or some shit
Corpse creepers, primal aspids, great hoppers, great husk sentries, and FREAKING CRYSTAL HUNTERS.
Sombody, casually hides somthing I want despite them saying they don’t have it
Me, maliciously sharpens machete
Those shrooms in the fungal wastes that shoot acid trip bombs at you are my most hated enemy.
OMG I am blown away with the quality of this video! Holy shit! Like the quips in this are fucking hilarious it's great joke after another, definitely subbing.
These descriptions are just purely poetic. Bravo, Rusty.
Once a dirtcarver attacked me in the deepnest hot springs.
No where is safe from them!
The mob I found most annoying was that teleporting freak in Soul Sanctum. I swear he...her...it couldn’t make peace with me killing their master and wouldn’t leave me alone as I tried to leave. I have a number of others who annoyed me but this was the top annoyance in my book. 😆
tips 4 these enemies
primal aspids: hit it once per shot to dodge its projectiles. also don’t dash into them
dirtcarvers: they’re better when you have the pure nail but turn your volume up so you know one of them is there
baldurs: cyclone slash them
shadow creepers: hit it til it dies and don’t get hit
flukemon: cyclone slash them and kill the flying half first then kill the running half
flukefey: use nail lengthening charms, upgrading your nail will make them easier
fool eater: listen for their audio cue and hit them til they die
volt twister: haven’t found them yet
loodles: wait for a time to hit them then cyclone slash them
great hopper: CYCLONE. SLASH. do that once they bounce in killing range (next to you)
i would definitely have to say that the suicidal belflies are my least favorite enemy to deal with they always catch me off guard and deal massive damage when they hit.
I came here to mention them, They also make sounds similar to grubs so they always lure you in till it's too late to escape 😤😤
Pretty much the only semi-reliable way I've found to kill Primal Aspids without taking damage is to hide behind something, wait until they get close, and then one-hit them with Great Slash. But even then, there's always that one wiseass Primal Aspid that hovers back just in time to dodge it before spitting their goop at me. 🤯🤬
If I ever find out who but those damn things in the game, I'm gonna go full Void Given Focus on their ass lmao.
The number of times i have benched over a baldur cant be understated. Well put
The "barking turnip" did it for me. I'm dead now 😂
petition to bring primal aspids back in silk song
Those Crystal Peak creatures that snipe me everytime I'm trying to get something done
