Wait with MIDI 2.0 you need to use in and out to get the preset names etc as well? Thats kind of pants i assumed it would just do it bidirectionally through one cable

I think Korg are missing a trick by not making the NTS series for eurorack too.. eg. everyone uses the expensive Mordax data for an oscilloscope right now

What i want is a "KingKORG Neo native" VST, i am very fond of KORG's MMT/XMT engine and KORG filter models
It'd take a lot more effort vs the Wavestate/Opsix/Modwave VSTs to do though, as those are ARM based and King Korg uses DSPs. They did manage that with the MicroKORG though, which is DSP based (although a different family of DSP to the King Korg.. and there was already an open source project to emulate the MicroKORG DSP chip)

Awesome stuff : Too bad Korg synths are stilll a bit pricey these days. I'm gathering the microkorg is about $700, which is about 200 too much if you ask me.

I would say audio looper a midi looper would eat away at the eight note polyphony.

Wondering if the Microkorg 2 can accept all the community patches built for the OG by the community over the years. If not... That would be an insane missed opportunity.

Having finally made modules of the WaveState, ModWave and OpSix, why didn’t they immediately do that with KingKORG? Can’t they read the writing on the wall? Three octaves is just daft to play the keyboard sounds on these powerful synths. I’d rather buy a KeyStage and modules than clutter my studio with useless 3-octave keyboards.

Where is the successor to the Kronos? Mine is a 1st gen and she's getting up to middle age. Sure, she still works great but c'mon. Korg is the flagship team! We need a new super monster with a crap ton of real time controls for live!

As a person from a western civilization you did not learn how to manage your usb in your windows I see .
@@NTRSN-Archive Every Korg owner has their USB uninstaller utility installed on their windows machine. No other manufacturer even has an uninstaller utility.
I had to use that unistaller yesterday, bec updating korg midi driver and ableton didnt find any korg gear anymore...😤

Kronos is not on the table I guess. Was so hoping for a new workstation from Korg. In reality, all we have is a lot of repackaging. Not seeing any real INOVATIONS, but more so money grabs. How can we take existing cheap tech, and sell more of it. Not to take away from the great gear that was out for a few years now, but truly wanted to see something NEW, brand new.

You guys need to use a better cellphone camera, perhaps something more recent than whatever has your framerate all choppy and blurry... I hear Apple makes some great phone cameras, these days. :P
Camera is not the problem. That’s operator error. Too cheap to hire someone that knows what theyre doin
Actually after watching the whole thing, the problem is there is no stabilizer on the lens or the operator forgot to turn on digital image stabilization.
@@saucehollywood I don't know, the camera also doesn't seem to handle panning the way a professional hi-bitrate camera does, much like a mobile phone.
Either way, I'd meant the comment as a bit of tongue in cheek, seeing as one would expect Reverb, of all companies, to be able to afford good cameras for hardware shows as important as NAMM.

Which is fine, if it means more rack compatible modules. Not like Modal were the first to make them either - but they were a great example to show Korg how they should be doing it to provide flexibility in the hardware format to owners

The only flagship is PA5x which was released way before..🤣🤣. The only place where a brand can showcase its technical excellence and pride is with its new flagship workstation like Kronos and that is lacking here.. 😂😂😂. Remember the downfall of Korg is from the almighty Oasys to the crappy and flimsy Nautilus.. grow up Korg and recruit someone who can contribute substantially after firing your current very unproductive and unprofessional team..😂😂
