My challenge was to get back in the gym after many failed sporadic attempts. I started walking for 30 minutes & built up to 45 minutes some days. I've also incorporated some strength training. Day 39, it snowed (it didn't phase me)....on a Sunday, but I was at the gym before church! Looking forward to my next 50 day challenge. I'm going to train for a 5k walk/run.
NATASHA GODLEY good job, so happy for you. I’m doing the same : ) This week is my first 30 days going to the gym, and loving it! Thank you for sharing!

(11.) Failure should just mean a distraction, failure should be allowed like a schedule. This entire list is slightly stressful, I’m just saying this through my opinion.
Having been concerned about finances throughout my entire adulthood, it's captivating to observe this video and realize that I can confidently identify with level 6. Experiencing the freedom of not being preoccupied with the financial concerns that consumed me for numerous years is truly liberating. I suppose this is the result of putting in diligent effort for the future.
Remarkable observations! Handling and staying abreast of things can be quite daunting for newcomers like myself. Are you a seasoned investor, or do you employ a methodical approach to staying well-informed?
Certainly not. I've been meticulously monitoring the performance of my portfolio and have observed a remarkable increase of $522,000 in the past two quarters alone. This journey has enlightened me on the strategies employed by seasoned traders to achieve significant profits even in seemingly volatile markets. Without a doubt, the decision I made relatively recently has proven to be both daring and gratifying.

Raul Grasso Yeah, me too actually😂. It’s always difficult because no matter how hard you try to be in control of your environment, there are always these tedious limitations as to what you can do due to your age. For example, I wake up at five o’clock so that I can make the most of my day, but I’m not allowed to leave my room or make any noise as not to wake my mother up before seven am. Although I can still use that time to work on writing, I still find it greatly frustrating.

Number 6 & 7 are my favorite. They are so real. “If you only work when you feel like it; the universe will reward you when it feels like rewarding you.” “ don’t wait for it to feel like good.”
I already lost 27 kilograms but still have 20 to lose. I lost all my motivation with recent break up and since March, I didn't lose anything. One part of me feels depressed and disappointed, but the other want just knows there IS A WAY out of this. I'm going to start with 50 day challenge RIGHT NOW and will do the best to update as often as possible. Sorry if my English is bad, it's my second language that I'm still working on. 💫💫 THANK YOU ALUX!💫💫
I have watch this video around 12 times, with many months of work in between and always with some paper taking notes. Here is my advice so you don't waste time (as I did). The amount of information and value in this video, is something incredible. Don't try to be smart, don't try to think what is useful and what is not. You may not have the capacity to differentiate it (as I know I didn't). Just do everything, to the letter, point by point. Only after some months of grinding you may have the experience to understand the deep implications. Probably not, as it condense some years of experience, but we will see.
I'M IN. This is another one of your Best Videos ALUX. I think Ability to Adapt and Overcome Obstacles is an Extremely Useful Skill. I'd like to see an entire Video devoted to How To Deal With Change and How To Adapt And Overcome Obstacles. At times I am Too Cautious, and I would like to see an entire Video on How To Safely Be More Of A Risk-taker. I would like to see an entire Video on How To Be Much More Confident And Bold. I would like to see an entire Video on How To Simulate Outcomes In A Variety Of Situations. Also I would like to see an entire Video on How To Sell And Negotiate, and an entire Video on How To Become A Master At Verbalizing What You Think And Feel (How Verbalize and Be More Confident). THANK YOU ALUX.
I’m in for the challenge My 50 days Challenge is to read English books, study English everyday I’m so poor in English Language And spellings My Goal in Life Needs English So badly
If you try that hard you will never be able to learn English. Just relax and follow the instructions on your studies. I mean the instructions are there for you to learn English so no stress just chill and learn
I'm in. Mam i had to leave my job because of health issues. My delusion was breaking. I was recovering from schizophrenia which lasted 23 years with more than 22 years of medication. I'm recovering. Medicines continuing. I've been a true aluxer as i am watching your videos since last 2-3 years. They have helped me a lot. I thank you Mam. Now i want to become a freelancer. I've acquired the habit of thinking and writing during my illness. I thank you for all these motivational contents. I dearly thank you Mam. You've helped me immensely in my struggle. Thanks.
Great vid as always. Not a fan of the typical usage of “discipline.” Self control is what I had to learn to make my first million. Control is more crucial than discipline. I used to believe “discipline” was the best trait towards success. But I realized discipline isn’t the best term. It’s reserved for soldiers and positions that require order and obedience. The more fitting term is *self control*. Being obedient is rarely the issue. Self control and indulgence is the real challenge.
Hey, Marcellus! We grow up with discipline in the sense that we were reprimanded when we disobeyed our parents or teacher. Discipline coincides with punitive actions, typically from others. Control is something within your own power. It illicit action, or even lack thereof, by your own choosing. Most people in our society are fine with discipline and follow the law. However most people lack control - diet, exercise, financials, career, education, etc. It maybe semantics, but it's one I've found helpful to understand.
Hello 24k, One thing to consider is that discipline not only coincides with punishments but always rewards. Successful discipline requires rewards as well, not only punishments. That being stated, self-discipline is a necessary part of self-control. Without self-discipline, one cannot fully be in control of one's self. Most of us have some level of self-discipline in that we obey the law, read, eat in a reasonable manner etc. . .However, some people were never disciplined enough to develop a sense of self discipline and therefore are completely lacking in the area of self-control. Furthermore, so many people feel that discipline stops after one move's out of their parents home. This is the problem. One should learn to discipline themselves after they are alone. Instead, they only do the behaviors that they like while avoiding the ones that they do not like. This is one of the reasons why people lack self-control when it comes to diet, financials, and exercise etc. . .They do not further develop the executive function of self-discipline after they leave their parents home (or perhaps their parents did not teach the child to develop this EF). Therefore, the child becomes an adult that has very little self control.
Thanks for the compliment, 24K! Since you seem to be a successful person, would you mind answering a question for me? What are your tips for self-control/self-discipline? I was somewhat disappointed by the title of the video because the video was actually mostly about goal-setting. It was a great video, but I am trying to find out how to master self-discipline and self-control. The 7th step (force yourself to complete tasks) of this video is the only one that I saw that relates to self-discipline. Is there any way to master being able to "force yourself" to do things? The only way that I have done so, at the moment is by actually disciplining myself through rewards and punishments. Or is the only way to master self-control to constantly achieve your goals through discipline? What are some of the most effective ways that you have disciplined yourself?
I just startet the "wake up everyday at the same time" Challenge. I challenge myself to wake up at 6am every day, make my bed, eat and shower. Then invest the extra hours each day in my future
@@myboringpowerpoints7782 hello, my life changed quite alot. I got a new job that fullfills me and pays quite ok. I am still constanlty learning and I am working towards a better position with more respondibility.
I know you just want comments but, I’m in! It’s time. And I’m never gonna look back. Ever. This video has started something that can not be stopped. Thank you and I will make it up to you one day. Edit: the biggest difference for me this final time, is that I’m not gonna go crazy, run myself into the ground, quit and hate myself. I’m going to follow this process at a normal human pace, trust it, never quit, and thus, never hate myself ever again.
Alux.com My goal is to replace my current jobs income with a Shopify store I created but haven’t launched out of pointless fear. I’m very talented, but very weird. Been through a lot. Almost died, went through deep depression. Became enlightened. Now know you create your own reality, which is why I’ve been hating myself more lately.. in turn, creating that reality. 🤣
We launch the store, that's not the hard part. Figuring out how to drive people to it is. we wish you the best of luck in your journey and hopefully you'll use the knowledge in this video to get the best out of it.
No doubt this is 3 yrs old UA-cam video but the content still remains as valid, valuable and effective. This is my first time watching this and it sure kicked my ass to remind myself what i want initially and how far i have ventured off in my lala comfort zone. This video deserves a 5 stars rating!! Absolutely!!!

Self analysis once a month Problems and success results. 14. Remove negative habits 15. 50 day challenge
Absolutely. Self discipline is everything. It requires you to be content with your current position while fighting tirelessly for the position you’d like to be in.
I'm in! Right after I watched this video I started my daily reading; I just read "fools despise wisdom and discipline." Confirmation I'm on the right track!
Define an attainable goal worth fighting for, generally related to money, health, self and family Deconstruct the goal, goals without plans are wishes: Components of a goal: 1 physical resources, 2 acquiring resources, 3 time, 4 goal of the goal Daily plan which if followed, gets the goal, precise steps Remove temptations/distractions Prioritise goal over all else Habits don't feel right at the beginning, if I only work when I want to, the universe will reward me when it wants to Trust my plan Body can be forced to perform actions if the mind wills it Find role models who inspire me Schedule breaks, treats and rewards, small parts of what the big goal feels like, if I'm tired, rest, don't quit Failure, even for a day, is not an option, don't half ass the measure Track and analyse progress, calendar/streaks Analysis 1/month: fold paper till we get 4 squares Top right most results Bottom right why it helped Top left least results, most difficult, not as planned Reduce the bad habits Bottom left why it didn't help Set monthly milestones that are in the Goldilocks zone I can't outtrain a shitty diet Entertainment is short term joy that may not be remembered Just keep pushing for 50 days
This is undoubtedly the best channel in its place, everything is detailed and accurate and true. No BS, all of the videos have a great meaning and great reasoning.

Thanks to you, I've realized my career path, applied for jobs only under that path, and I completed my third stage interview at a very well known company that I can't name here. And guess what?? I believe it went well!! I never imagined myself interviewing at a company this big, much less making it to the final interview stage! I didn't think I was qualified enough, smart enough, etc. But you helped me change the way I valued my own worth. I pray I get this job, too, because my "future" manager seems like she would make a 5 star mentor!!

Back in the days I was so disciplined, I was so structured, and I was so directed. But over these last couple of years the energy, and that will power hasn't been there. But thanks to Alux I feel reborn, and on my way to being uplifted to where I use to be, and beyond. So thanks Alux for that 2nd wind.
Happy Sunday, Alux. When I read the title of today's video I thought why should I watch this? It doesn't pertain to me... Then that small voice inside said: "" Watch it give it a chance" and Wow, I'm glad I did it was not what I expected. I'm glad I took the time to watch it in its entirety. Anything did for a long period of time forms into a habit so number 15 isn't a bad habit to have. Well done Alux on an excellent video and putting in your due diligence on the matter. P.S. I'm in
My role in my life is to be an author. The ingredients of the goal are: 1.Write the book/manuscript 2. Submit it to a self publishing platform like Amazon 3. Go to Grammerly and self edit the text of your book 4. Hire a editor or multi editors to professional edit and even formate your book text 5. Design a book cover or hire a book cover artist 6. Decide your book size 7. Make the book a hardcover as it is more profitable and makes you look more authentic 8. choose a price for the book 9. wait for the book to finally get printed out 10. order copies for yourself I try to complete a chapter of my book a day or in 3 days. I do get distracted by other stimulating things. I should make my book my main priority in life as well as the books I plan to write in the future. I try to write my book all the time. I do force myself to write. I never once had a role model. Sure I have people I like but nine I look up to for inspiration or anything. I have no hero. I do take breaks from writing my book of course. And I feel happy and accomplished when I finish a chapter. I try not to procrastinate. I keep track of my progress. I think my monthly goal is to get my book manuscript done. I will analyze my efforts. I pushed myself to write my book and remember the quality. I will have good habits. I often try to keep pushing myself to write my book. I wil self discipline.

Some people will laugh this off as obvious information but to KNOW and not TO DO is NOT to KNOW. If you want to be a winner, take action use this knowledge. Subconsciously, many of us already know this stuff but we don't apply it to what we want to accomplish in life and then, wonder why we keep failing. Excellent information! I shall try to implement these principles
I have virtually zero self-discipline. I've always needed to rely on motivation, habit, and natural talent to accomplish anything. I earned a master's degree from a top university, ran track all throughout college, and have performed a relatively high paying, long-hour job for 7 years. Almost zero was due to raw discipline. If only I could have a bit of discipline, I would do so well.
Gone through this video 3 times, and grabbed wroted every chunk of it, but still when i repeat the video if feel i have missed the meaning of that line. AMAZING Content Thankyou for sharing👍👏

"If you master self discipline, any feasible dream becomes an objective only separated from you by time" this got me 💯🔥

I hope everything worked out

Read “The Power Of Habit” by Charles Duhigg. Will change your life and self discipline :)
Yes! It's a really good book.
I will. Is it also an audiobook
I am reading... It's amazing...
How much is it in amazon?
Oh yeah wow nice wonderful nice ☝ one really
It seems the first barrier here, to become more self-disciplined, was to wait 2:36 min before they actually start to talk about it. Nicely played. :)
Hey, "YES YOU!", Your dreams are going to become a reality. KEEP LEARNING AND KEEP MOVING FORWARD.

The 24K Life interesting. Please do elaborate sir.
Hello 24k,
One thing to consider is that discipline not only coincides with punishments but always rewards. Successful discipline requires rewards as well, not only punishments.
That being stated, self-discipline is a necessary part of self-control. Without self-discipline, one cannot fully be in control of one's self.
Most of us have some level of self-discipline in that we obey the law, read, eat in a reasonable manner etc. . .However, some people were never disciplined enough to develop a sense of self discipline and therefore are
completely lacking in the area of self-control.
Very well said, Kamel! I agree with you completely. You articulated that much better than I could. Thanks! :)
Self discipline is key to success
And self love
And mental-health
Not the key, but the bridge
And self control
Its one of the many keys
I just startet the "wake up everyday at the same time" Challenge.
I challenge myself to wake up at 6am every day, make my bed, eat and shower.
Then invest the extra hours each day in my future
Nice
Good luck!

We don’t do it for the comments, we want to talk to you guys. What is your the goal you’re shooting for?
Alux.com My goal is to replace my current jobs income with a Shopify store I created but haven’t launched out of pointless fear. I’m very talented, but very weird. Been through a lot. Almost died, went through deep depression. Became enlightened. Now know you create your own reality, which is why I’ve been hating myself more lately.. in turn, creating that reality. 🤣
Mike wishing you good fortune!
We launch the store, that's not the hard part. Figuring out how to drive people to it is. we wish you the best of luck in your journey and hopefully you'll use the knowledge in this video to get the best out of it.
Alux.com Instagram influencers 😁
others: watch this video to become a billionaire
me: watches this video to clean my room
Haha
Hey I’m having coffee and oatmeal and watching this instead of watching tv so it’s all good, Lol.
It's a start. Don't stop there.
That's a big deal too
Me too..😁
No doubt this is 3 yrs old UA-cam video but the content still remains as valid, valuable and effective. This is my first time watching this and it sure kicked my ass to remind myself what i want initially and how far i have ventured off in my lala comfort zone. This video deserves a 5 stars rating!! Absolutely!!!
I’ve never heard deconstruct the goal. I really like that. It gives you clarity of the goal.

Absolutely. Self discipline is everything. It requires you to be content with your current position while fighting tirelessly for the position you’d like to be in.
I will not watch any Alux video without this lady narrating
This lady is on her way to be a billionaire!
Detest her voice wish they would change it. Content is good enough for me to stay but tolerating that voice is hard work
Try playing at 1.25x speed. It helped me at the start.
islandparadise thank you. I'm so glad I read the comments at minute 3. I couldn't handle it anymore.

Right after I watched this video I started my daily reading; I just read "fools despise wisdom and discipline." Confirmation I'm on the right track!
I wrote a book "Alux" now its being edited and finalized. You guys give great advice. It is amazing how much work and value you but in your videos.
This is the only way to break through the noise.
I am in just fantastic
Define an attainable goal worth fighting for, generally related to money, health, self and family
Deconstruct the goal, goals without plans are wishes:
Components of a goal: 1 physical resources, 2 acquiring resources, 3 time, 4 goal of the goal
Daily plan which if followed, gets the goal, precise steps
Remove temptations/distractions
Prioritise goal over all else
Habits don't feel right at the beginning, if I only work when I want to, the universe will reward me when it wants to
Trust my plan
Body can be forced to perform actions if the mind wills it
Find role models who inspire me
Schedule breaks, treats and rewards, small parts of what the big goal feels like, if I'm tired, rest, don't quit
Failure, even for a day, is not an option, don't half ass the measure
Track and analyse progress, calendar/streaks
Analysis 1/month: fold paper till we get 4 squares
Top right most results
Bottom right why it helped
Top left least results, most difficult, not as planned
Reduce the bad habits
Bottom left why it didn't help
Set monthly milestones that are in the Goldilocks zone
I can't outtrain a shitty diet
Entertainment is short term joy that may not be remembered
Just keep pushing for 50 days
This is undoubtedly the best channel in its place, everything is detailed and accurate and true. No BS, all of the videos have a great meaning and great reasoning.

Thanks to you, I've realized my career path, applied for jobs only under that path, and I completed my third stage interview at a very well known company that I can't name here. And guess what?? I believe it went well!! I never imagined myself interviewing at a company this big, much less making it to the final interview stage! I didn't think I was qualified enough, smart enough, etc. But you helped me change the way I valued my own worth. What happened? After 50 days
My role in my life is to be an author.
The ingredients of the goal are:
1.Write the book/manuscript
2. Submit it to a self publishing platform like Amazon
3. Go to Grammerly and self edit the text of your book
4. Hire a editor or multi editors to professional edit and even formate your book text
5. Design a book cover or hire a book cover artist
6. Decide your book size
7. Make the book a hardcover as it is more profitable and makes you look more authentic
8. choose a price for the book
9. wait for the book to finally get printed out
10. order copies for yourself
I try to complete a chapter of my book a day or in 3 days.
It never to late to start thus, I'm in!!!
Go for it!
You got this 🤟
How is it going
How old are you? I'm 29 and struggling to build self discipline!
The actual steps start at 2:39 i would advise you start there so that your subconscious doesnt absorb the bull they were spitting in the beginning

Excellent information! what happened
I just found this video and it was amazing. Thank you Alux!!
I wrote all of these down in my phone.
If only I could have a bit of discipline, I would do so well.
the best advice I've ever found about setting and achieving goals, a game changer, thank you
