I am completely uninitiated. How long does it take an Alexander Mcqueen to put together a complete collection? There is so much to feast on and attention to detail and finery is incredible!
During his time at Givenchy he was putting out around 14 collections a year (taking into account couture and RTW.) Utterly exhausting. I don't know where he found the stength to do it.
On his late Interviews he said 1 complete Collection he did in 1 year. His brain wont stop working, this is why he drank a lot of alcohol and had Problems with sleeping. He is a trully God's best creation
I swear he was part inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s Barry Lyndon. Even the main song from the film opened the show. Spotted lashings of other Kubrick films in there too like the hats from A Clockwork Orange and some backless inspo maybe from Eyes Wide Shut.
