    Ok as for Marsh Fishing: Mike "YOU NEVER FAIL TO IMPRESS".! I'm 58yo and I started fishing Galveston waters at the age of 14 and I Do Not know it all and I'm Always open to learning something new or refreshing my memory.

      Did you also message me on Facebook? Or email? I swear I got this same question a few days ago. May have been someone else. Personally, I love the power pole. Best investment I made for the kayak. Truly awesome and even better customer service. Had an issue with my power pole and they replaced within a few days with no questions asked. I love it!

      Getting into the tournament scene can be extremely nerve racking but don’t let it stop you. Go at it like it’s another day of fishing and success will come. Expect to lose some money but gain a lot of experience and friends. Best words of advice I got when I started was jump in with both feet, fight your way to the top and expect beatings as you go. Good luck!

    I agree with ya on getting boring. I find myself turning off a video sometimes 1/3 of the way through it because it's the same thing over and over. I think it might be cool to see you catch a fish then you jump in the video from your studio and take 30 seconds or a minute to explain what was going on prior to you making a cast that caught that fish. Maybe give a little insight. Or just doing a voice over during the video explaining that info would also be helpful. Just something to change it up a little. It'd be a lot more work/editing I'm sure but might be worth it.

    Great plan for information videos; I clicked notifications on for the first time on UA-cam when I heard you say it.
    This summer I started wade fishing at Galveston Island State Park and at the end of Amigo Road near Surfside, yet just ordered a Kayak last week and ready to roll the marshes. You like those two places when you Kayak?
    I heard the marches around Bayou Vista are good also and shorter drive for me, is that an area you like?
    Thank you!

    • @TexasFishingForce
      @TexasFishingForce  3 роки тому

      I don’t fish galveston state park much from the kayak but amigo ln is great from a kayak to run through Churchill and cold pass.

    Mike been watching you since the beginning and I learn something from all your vids even the old ones. I never understood why revealing location is soooo taboo. It would be incredibly helpful if I knew if I was wasting time before driving all the way to Freeport or chocolate or sweetwater or ect

    • @TexasFishingForce
      @TexasFishingForce  3 роки тому

      You’ve definitely been here since the start and I absolutely appreciate it. Thank you so much. The location topic for me is just about respecting the guys that work hard to learn those specific areas. Any spot is good or bad on the right days. The guys that grind out an area learn those good and bad days so out of respect, I don’t share that info publicly. So instead, I try and teach people what I know about picking the right locations on any day. If you have questions though, don’t hesitate to send me a message about a specific location and I’ll help any way I can.

      Kccacio, "Spots to Fish" are just spots on some map (like TopSpots) that MIGHT hold fish UNDER THE RIGHT CONDITIONS, but NOT always. 90% of the fish are in 10% of the water. So, IT'S ALL ABOUT FINDING THE RIGHT CONDITIONS at any given Spot. Do you see any signs of small baitfish {mullet, minnows, shrimp, crabs, etc) to attract the larger Preditor fish? Season/water temperature? Wind direction? Tidal flow carrying bait?

    Question: I’m a 6’ tall man and I want to get into kayak fishing. I want a pedal powered kayak that I can also put a trolling motor on. What’s the best length and model Kayak? Thanks

    • @TexasFishingForce
      @TexasFishingForce  Рік тому

      Id suggest going and demoing a few. There are quite a few made for taller people but it all comes down to how it feels for you.

    • @TexasFishingForce
      @TexasFishingForce  3 роки тому +1

      I fish Galveston and Freeport mostly from the kayak. I could definitely list locations but honestly your best bet is to pick up a hot spots kayak and wading map. Way more information there than I could give you in a reply here. Worth it. I’ve learned a ton of spots from those maps.

    If I may ask where do you go marsh fishing? I'm from south texas and am very limited on marsh fishing from port mansfield and spi. Wish we had as many as you show in your videos!

      I hit the marshes from Texas/Louisiana border all the way down to Matagorda. Tons of options here. I’ve fished further south but unfortunately you guys don’t has as many marsh systems as we have up north.
