I visited Norway last week and had a V90 T8 rental for 3000 km…absolutely stunning powertrain. I was blown away by the power and efficiency. Electric driving in cities/towns and hybrid driving everywhere else. We own a ‘24 V60CC here in the US and the V90 was in a different class.
Sad to see the hybrid wagons go. Would have been cool to see them do a refresh like the new Passat with a larger battery, 11 kw AC charging and 50kw DC charging. All we can hope for now is a proper EV wagon. 🤞
Will probably a a refresh coming of the V60/V90.. Volvo have talked about making EREV cars. Primarily for XC60/XC90, but maybe they'll also include the wagons.
My lighter, sleeker 2023 S60 has traveled 60.2 miles on electric (in Pennsylvania, state and secondary roads, rolling terrain, 40 to 50 mph). On that day I then charged with the ICE, adding three battery miles over the last seven miles of my trip.
Such a wonderful car. Sad for Norway that it cannot be sold on the same terms as electric cars. But as I said, should have a similar battery and charging as the new Passat. Or even better as fully electric.
Yeah, totally agree. Would be interesting to see the EV sale here without all the incentives 😂 This V90 are wonderful, but would also love to see a even bigger battery
@@volvo_kristian 80 km/h i princip större delen av sträckan. Det är ett ställe där stoppskylt finns och ca 10 km av sträckan går i 90 km/h. Detta var dessutom med AC på 👍🏼

Sounds like you had a good time here in Norway.. Sweet rental. I love the V60 CC but yeah, the 90 are in another class
Great results Kristian
Thanks 👌
What a stunning country must have been a treat driving through it with this great V90 👌
Yeah especially at the beginning of autumn 🍂 Love it

EV wagons are taller due to the battery. EV SUVs are lower due to lower drag coefficient.
The result is that EV wagons and EV SUVs are very similar.
Don’t matter do. A wagon is a wagon and a suv is a suv.

@volvo_kristian Electric wagons are likely more feasible from a technical standpoint with solid state batteries in a decade or so.

Jag har kört 86,7 km med XC60, och hade 6 km kvar 😉
Det er ganske imponerende. Var det også kombinert med litt Motorvei? Eller kun "lav" fart?

Wow. Enda mer imponerende
