Why would you skip all the required information. What a pointless video. This is not helpful at all.
You skipped the most critical part! How to get the rest of the lens removed and how to remove the perma seal from the tracks!
He mentioned it. Use a dremel cutting wheel to brake the factory seal. Clean it off by scraping the remaining seal parts or bake in oven for better results. Put on replacement seal and join up the lens with the headlight.
"I'll show you what it looks like when it's done." What's the point of making a video.
These are show of idiots! What’s the point!???
I looked at the price of replacement lenses for my car. It was only another 60 bucks to get whole new headlight assemblies . So not worth the hassle of going thru all this to save 60 bucks. @@capnbly
This moron doesn't know how to make how to do videos.wtf he been skipping the most important part
Do I need to remove the headlight from the car or would I be able to do it while on it?
Remove.
Exactly.... You've skipped all the important parts... Thanks anyways
You are right..... not a useful video at all for one who wants to try to replace the lens.
Agreed.
Yeah
Thanks for skipping every important part 👍
You still didn’t show how it was done not enough information
Nice looking lens but did not help me at all, you skipped all the important part, thank you anyway.
Looks really good but, you didn't show how you removed the old adhesive, that would have really been nice
I wish we had a shop that could do that in South Texas or RGV. My 2015 Ford Escape needs it bad. Thank for the video appreciate you very much.
Yo, unfortunately you are mistaking by cutting it. Just heat it up with the proper heat gun that the temperature can be adjusted at 180-220c to soften the seal. Then remove the old one n u can even use the same seal again for sure or replace the seal to make sure that won’t be any leak at all…
I did remove my e39 lenses n put them back on using the same seal without any issue at all. Then I polished them out n they look fantastic. Try on your next project.
I did this on my 2010 Audi A4. I was looking for this comment. You are 100% correct
You, Sir, should be the one making the instructional video. Very helpful, quite unlike the guy in the video. Thank you.
Yes, you actually gave me useful advice than this video. Do you have your own channel? Thank you.
why not just take it off....it looks like its hooked in there. Also how did you reattach the grey part? something is missing here.
Don,t just say what you did, show what you did? video is useless. Try again.
Where can i buy the outer clear lenses for 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Headlight Assembly?
What a video !!! Good job, thanks for not showing how to do this job !! Just wondering whats the point of your video ??!!
Did this but I’m getting condensation in both of them ,any help on how to stop it
Behing the new lens you should apply some sealent, transparent one reccomended
you didnt show nothing
wtf is this? you made a video with a before and after and never actually showed us the most important part.....
you skip the importent part how to attach the new glass?
Skipped all the important bits
butyl glue
You can just use a heat gun for the adhesive… you didnt have to butcher it
That never works like in the youtube videos.
No kidding what a goof
@@roymoorman5990uhhh no it works just fine
were you located at
How many hours did you spend on it ? It doesn't look like a fun job and it will in most cases show that someone has been tampering with the housing. The plastic lenses is just another way for manufacturers to cheap out. Sure, glass can shatter but glass doesn't fade and discolor so much over time. And it was usually much easier to replace when having a rubber seal and metal clips to keep it attached to the housing.
Dude played himself with a bunch of thumbs down lol. They are other videos that show you how to do it anyway.
Dude, show how you do the replacement no the results .
Really really great job. The results are excellent 👍
Dosnt show the steps
Where did you guys go? Still in business?
wtf pointless waste of quality minutes
Oven?
next time slow down when panning camera, go for a wider view.
Pls new lens shoping pls in India
david copperfield
That fucking roo though hed make me pay money to get my car fixed
That wasn't very helpful. You edited and left out a lot
All key point has hidden. Useless..
Talketive what are u want to tell..waste time
Yo u made a mistake by Turing it all around. It is guaranteed much easier n cleaner by using a heat gun n once u remove it, u can just use the existing glue or adhesive to place the new lenses. Then it’s done. Try it out n u will see for ur self. Peace out!
he made a lot of mistakes
Can u do mine lol
yes
Thats a wack video
😂
