These guys are adorable, within a few months the baby will be use to you. I have a few that were babies last April and now will eat from my hand while I pet them.

Thanks Sherri. I didnt worry too much about baby getting any because she was still young enough I could see that momma was still breast feeding her as well.
About 6 weeks ago I saw a really small raccoon in my yard during the day, she was so small I thought she/he was maybe an orphan. We gave her some grapes (which she LOVES) and a little bit of cat food just to get her by. After a month or so of her daily visits we noticed she has very prominent nipples which then made us think she is a mother and not an orphan. We saw her on our cameras the other night with FOUR babies in tow!! No wonder she was eating us out of house and home! So far she has not brought her babies to us but hoping soon. She is tiny just like your little Momma.
@@edwardweiszbeck1649 Yes I think she is trusting of us now and we are hoping she will eventually bring her babies to us. I am actually ok with her being a little fearful of us because not everyone in my neighbourhood likes raccoons so probably best she stays cautious about humans.
They really are one of the more adorable little critters. But if you feed them then like 20 will start showing up. But damn they are cute. I'm glad those ones weren't rabid.
No just some wild ones that have been here in the wooded urban area forever. I’ve made a relationship with them. They feel safe here. And they are. I’m an animal lover
Haha. Thanks but not really. I've built up trust with this one. Started with just throwing them some food. But over time I'd hold my hand out and place it in front of them. Then would hold my hand still for them to take it off my finger tips, then palm, etc. They are respectful of who is feeding them and so smart. They know it's a gift and it's my place and also that it's my cat's place, so they show respect and no aggression towards us. In fact they would love to be taken in as a pet, that would be a dream life for them. But not legal here in Canada. Thanks for responding. Check out other people's UA-cam vids where they are a pet. Very smart and playful. Wish they'd allow that in Canada. Cheers.

That's awesome. You can adjust their diet and just feed them food that makes them taste better. Skip nuts, go with grains!
