Our band director wants to take this out of the flip folders next year, our drum majors said if he does they’ll call it up anyway because we all already have it memorized
our drum major always cuts it off right as the singing part ends so we don't actually play. We scream it as loud as we can and I love it, there's no place like the stands at a football game with your friends screaming hey baby.
We have this as tradition through 2 band directors in 20 years. My mom started playing this her junior year and now I'm playing it on the same field. It's my freshman year right now
Jaycob Cisneros For my pep band we always put a sax solo in there, its just three notes up a B flat blues scale and then back down but it sounds so good
I love this stand tune sm-- my drum major always takes it super slow and im always like " can we speed it up this time!!" And when we do it sounds good
So a band student(specifically me) is having a conversation with my non-band friend about our fav songs. I think they said that their fav song was one of the songs by queen, to which I agreed. I then stated my fav song was "Hey Baby" , and he asked what that was, so I played this recording, to which he responded "nice".
In my band, it is an honor to play the tuba bass line. When I played it on the clarinet, let’s just say it was almost the last time I played low brass music on clarinet.
We play this in the summer and have us memorize it. We play it around that neighborhood along with on Wisconsin for 30 minutes or more. We also go on a parade from our highschool to the state fair. And play it, it's really fun I love it.
MY college band uses this as a taunt. If we're running away with it in the 4th quarter of a home game, with 2 minutes left, instead of final countdown, we play this AND sing it at the other teams players rofl
I going to miss marching band and all the freshmen asking out upperclassmen to the freshmen semi this season. I wish Covid could leave for marching band.
Our band director wants to take this out of the flip folders next year, our drum majors said if he does they’ll call it up anyway because we all already have it memorized
Avery as he should
illegal to take out hey baby
Wait that's illigal-
I had a band director like that. We always rebelled
That’s so great 😂
as a tuba player, this is one of my all-time favorite pep tunes. Always has been.
*Always will be*

SAME BRO WE JUST FINISHED A FOOTBALL GAME (WE WON) AND WE PLAYED THIS
SAMEEEE
our drum major always cuts it off right as the singing part ends so we don't actually play. We scream it as loud as we can and I love it, there's no place like the stands at a football game with your friends screaming hey baby.
We always play this after the football games when low brass + mellos walk back to the band room. It's great, everybody loves it
We have this as tradition through 2 band directors in 20 years. My mom started playing this her junior year and now I'm playing it on the same field. It's my freshman year right now
I think every marching band can play this.

Yes!! My school always plays it at the start of 3rd quarter.
Anyone else realize that the thumbnail is a score of never gonna give you up lmao
I DIDNT REALIZE THAT-
No way
I love how you can barely hear the woodwinds... :/
Ziggmiester797 It's opposite at my school. Our Woodwind Section Outnumbers the Brass like 4-1
Ziggmiester797 My Band director always Screams at the Trumpets "YOU NEED TO PLAY LOUDER!!!!"
So... like...30 wood winds and 7 trumpets? My schools band is somewhat well balanced.
@@Mikey-kb4eh same at my school and the brass still outplay the woodwinds. I think you need stronger brass
we have 7 clarinets 7 flutes and then like 17 trumpets
please tell me i’m not the only person who realized that the thumbnail is never gonna give you up
1:35, every single time my band plays this someone keeps playing the 8th notes. Every. Single. Time.
You need to get a Guillotine for them for messing up the Sacred Hey Baby
We'll play this song and seven nation army for ten minutes straight at games just because our BD can't stop us and the drum majors don't care.
blue devils?
No we're not blue devils
Just a marching band that hates our bd
The Irishasian 🔫
The Irishasian 🍗
We do a sexy "Whistle" with our trombone section leader
Officer Smith I just want to know what that means
I wish we did that
The singing part my band does is girls then boys.
my tuba solo is 1:00-1:02
Jaycob Cisneros My trombone solo is 1:38

Jaycob Cisneros For my pep band we always put a sax solo in there, its just three notes up a B flat blues scale and then back down but it sounds so good
Y'all have it as a solo? We just play
Same solo for bari sax. I play it
This was the best part of pepband and still is. I miss Marching band so much
Ok that thumbnail got all of us
I love this stand tune sm-- my drum major always takes it super slow and im always like " can we speed it up this time!!" And when we do it sounds good

When i was in marching band at my high school we did this as well as crazy train and others
We all love to play this song at the stadium it's so fun to play
In my band, it is an honor to play the tuba bass line. When I played it on the clarinet, let’s just say it was almost the last time I played low brass music on clarinet.
Every band ever during games: "Hey Hey Baby"
god the first note for trumpet was so hard to play freshman year
A very lovable stand tune Indeed
I just got upgraded to bass trombone
Chuck Stevens my teacher wants me to be a bass trombone for his jazz class
*im in 8th grade (hence the name) and i hope we play this in one of my highschool years*
*#TUBA*
99% chance you will :)
It's a classic
I'm in 8th too, but I'm in marching band.
I'm 8th too and I played it this year.
I was in marching band as an 8th grader.
Did you play the song?
We play this in the summer and have us memorize it. We play it around that neighborhood along with on Wisconsin for 30 minutes or more. We also go on a parade from our highschool to the state fair. And play it, it's really fun I love it.
Has a tuba player this is the best one out of all the pep tunes
One of my favorite stand tunes
0:23 I don’t know if it’s just me but they missed the “OOH, AH”
YES my band screams our hearts out for the "WHOOOO! AHHHHH!!!!"
If you pay trumpet like this 🎺
Nice arrangement -.-
Every tuba's mating call
A guy proposed to his girlfriend using this song . They replaced baby with ( girlfriends name) and my with ( boyfriends name ) it was cute
As a trumpet, I love to play this song

GO TUBA AND SOUSAPHONES!
I think the baritone saxophone plays there to
T, V experiments I don't think so, because they can't hit the Low (concert) Bb that a tuba can.
kason cheese well in band they do, but it's different for everyone.
kason cheese I have the solo too
we play this 😂 and i loveit
I literally just found this song exists like this week, was I the only one who's marching band never played this?
Yes lmao
I think we use this arrangement
I'm a trumpet and after we sang heeeeyyy, hey baby we would yell ooh! Ah!
We played this at Naples High School in Naples Florida golden eagles marching band those were good old days at the pep rallies and the halftime shows
Behold, the single song thats more fun to play than shout it out
i like this song but the beginning is the best part
shout it out is always one of my favorites to play
This high school band here is a literal nightmare. I came from a high school band in the north that won the best band in Dixie at the Mardi Gras in 73
I miss marching band so fucking much. Tuba squad where you at?
Except in my band it goes “I wanna knowoWAAO will you be girl” with a lot of voice cracks
Best song for tuba bro 😎

@@botboy3603 trombone 1 for this song. How exactly is the score for baritone? I can't hear over bari sax lmao
@@noahk3226 baritone's all wacky, it likes to jump back and forth between bass line and melody all the time

Tbone Time 🥐
Can anyone please send me a link or image or picture or anything regarding the sheet music for this. I've been searching for this forever!
People just kinda teach it to each other. A senior taught me, and when I'm a senior, I'll teach others. No one really has sheet music for it.
Alex R bruhhh my bd gave us all sheet music to this and land of 1000 dances
@@alexr6705 I've got sheet music......well I did but we have to return our music to the school at the end of every year
Hay una manera podria obtener una copia de esta pieza asi que puedo pedirle a mi novia hacia fuera a venir casero
