For ALL of you "shredders" out there, PLEASE notice that Reb starts that absolutely FABULOUS mid-section solo - wait for it - with a single note... and a pull-off to a single note... and then a few notes around that first shape... (2:01)... and THAT'S ALL! It's NOT how fast you can play that matters (guitar noodling is only coveted by other guitar noodlers!), it's all about choosing the RIGHT notes that make the greatest emotional impact! A painfully unflashy and simple solo intro... but absolutely GUT.WRENCHING! Mike D.
I my self have been shredding guitar for about 24 yrs and this guy is truly one of my favorite players and pretty hard to keep up with, really awesome 🤘🤘
I'm a shredder myself for over 30 years. Here are a few solo artists worthy of mention. I cannot remember if they are all shredders but several will be close to it. Feel free to check them out: Jamie LaRitz, Blues Saraceno, Chris Bickley, Rick Renstrom, John Norum, Roger Franco , Gustavo Di Padua, Lucas Fagundes, Daniel Pique, Ricardo Soares, Ricky Furlani, Jeff Kollman, Teo Dornellas,Howard Hart, Joshua Perahia (from "Joshua"), Ken Tamplin (from "Shout"), and Pastor Brad. Of course your probably familiar with Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani, and Steve Vai. Hope you lime 'em. ☮ Rich W
totally agree, i however dont like any of his bands that hes been in but the guy is a genius with the axe. (By the way, judging by your pick, its good to see a fellow Nocturnus fan.)
This track has been around for ages, but finally got released on A View From The Inside (2020), also has Black Magic on it. Great Album, rock, fusion...super good.
Listened to this for years! Has anyone come up with anything comparable? Why did Reb stop at only a few of these mini masterpieces? We want more!
Everything about this song is magnificent!

Reb should have been on the Generation Axe tour.

What album is this song from? :-)
2:58-3:00 - Anyone who wants to call themselves a rock guitarist should not be allowed to plug in until they have mastered that lick ;)
open realtek hd, open vocals, +1 ;)
What the name of the album?
