We've been to Vegas more times that we can recall now - got to be over 30 over the past twenty years, but each time I love a good tips video. One thing about getting Uber and Lyft - even if you have hired a car, think about using Uber or Lyft as it can sometimes be less expensive that paying for parking at the hotel you're visiting - car park fees are ridiculous now, and there are so few places that don't charge you - and of course you can have a drink and not worry about driving! Thanks for the great video.
All of the people complaining about the price of Vegas. Obviously aren’t from California. 🤣🤣 Vegas is literally cheaper in some places than where I’m from.
The fourth floor of M&M world has a Bank of America ATM which is free if you bank with them. Also: I've taken 40 trips to Las Vegas and if the room is comped, there is no resort fee. As far as getting comps, it also depends on the game you play. Slot players will get much better comps because the hold is higher. Video poker, especially at the off-strip casinos, is very close to 100% payback and it takes much more coin-in to get the same comps as a slot player. My other tip is to stay off strip. Locals casinos have to compete for the people who live there and have much better bargains than are found on the Strip or Downtown. Good point about lip balm. Make sure you have it especially in the summer.
CVS and Walgreens on the strip have $3 fee on their ATMS… Performers on the strip and Fremont are NOT allowed to charge you anything…they work for tips only…tip only what you want to…do not let them tell you that you owe them a certain amount… Venture to Arts District…close to Fremont, lots of great food!
My 2 veteran tips. 1.take the normal cabs. They drop you off right at the front door. Trams Ubers are crap as you walk a million miles to get to the pick up spots. 2. Check in in the Lobby. Wait in line do the $20 room upgrade trick. Its worked for me every time!
@@reallycaughtnow when you're checking in and they ask for your id, add a folded $20 with it, and ask if they have any upgrades available. If they don't, they'll give you the $20 back. I usually arrive at 8am and ask for an early room so I can drop my stuff off. One time they couldn't accommodate that but did upgrade me to a nicer room.
We stay at the oyo it's decent price and on the strip. We walk all the way to Ceasars sometimes a bit furthe We don't mind tho because we are not sober but we save money. If we aren't on foot then we walk a good ways and then meet a Lyft or Uber or if we are not yet under the influence then we park I the free parking areas or on a regular street. Again sometimes you have to walk but we save a good amount of money.
VALUE!!! They say at the Casino Royale(near Harrahs Casino) the ATM fees are only $3. I'll have to check out that M&Ms store $2 ATM fee on the 3rd floor. VALUE!! Secret Pizza 3rd floor in the Cosmo Hotel Slice of Pizza $7.50 Excellent! Earl of Sandwich at the Miracle Miles of Shops has super cheap breakfast sandwiches $7 lunch sandwiches too. Awesome video!!!! Thanks for sharing.
i really fw your channel bro, im going to vegas november 15-18 for complexcon, F1 the weekend after and its crazy to think when i come that track is gonna be almost complete. im staying at vdara and im super excited. im driving from az and will have a car, super excited even tho i hear its a disaster the week after for f1
value. cool video ill take some of your advice. im going to Vegas later this year last time i went i was only 16 and had no money lol but now im an adult and can gamble
that lobster/birria looked good. im actually leaving to vegas in like 2 hrs. first time on a plane. semi nervous. but will have to check that rock n potato place out for sure. dope video.
@Immarcomurillo Yeah they have this one plate that you can get. It has like 2 sides and then 2 or 3 different main meats to go with it. Hubby and I shared a plate and we did t even finish it. The house sauces are also so good!
Bro this was a great video, thanks… it made me laugh though, you were so chill and then you mentioned the god damn ATM fee and I laughed out loud. I was at a strip club once and the ATM charged 20% so my $300 withdrawal cost me $30 in fees… so I felt your words in my soul.
My friends and I always drive to Vegas we have our room at least a month ahead of time because it's cheaper also we have a few different apps for hotels so we get deals and even FREE NIGHTS.
Great video my friend. very informative. Love Vegas. if you go in September ... hit me up. I run a restaurant on the east coast but have made week 1 NFL an annual Vegas trip for myself and a few buddies and would love to meet more cool people. It's a great time to go and seems like people live it up bigtime end of summer.
Most of the strip hotels do not include a coffee maker. I bought my own 1 cup coffee maker and bring it with me in my suitcase. Beats waiting in line downstairs and paying $ 6 at Starbucks!
The $20 handshake needs to be more like $50 or $100 nowadays. And it does work. Got early check in and moved up 15-20 floors the opening weekend of March Madness.
Just ask if any complementary room upgrades are available when you hand over your ID and CC. If they do, slide a 20 over, if not, no 20. You don't have to tip them ahead of time, just ask and then tip or not

Whoa. That M&M Store ATM tip is great! $2 fee?? It's like it's 1998 all over again! Thanks for that one.
Very good tips, I have been to Vegas for over 40+ years, but always looking for new stuff thanks
I appreciate the support. Thank you, Mikey. 💯

Dumb, I'm from LA, CA, trust me, I know. My mortgage is $3500 alone. And I will complain about Vegas.

Not true - You can get a comped room - but in most cases you will pay a resort fee!
@ronaldmason7053 agreed. Ive been probably 15x with comp rooms and ive almost always paid resort fees

Question do you ever slip the check in person like 20 bucks when you check in to see if they give you an upgraded room?
I honestly get too scared to do it, but there’s no need to be secretive about it either Vegas is a to-based city
@@ImmarcomurilloI’ll try it when I go on Memorial Day but I doubt it’ll work since Vegas going be packed that weekend

Did you ever do the 20 dollar card trick while you wear chacking in. I have done it a few times, and it worked.
Been to scarred 😂 but I do know of it lol
What's the 20 dollar card trick?
@nakai123 when you chack in the hotel in Vegas. You put the 20 dollars butween your card you book with and your ID. Ask for a suit. Sometimes they give you an upgrade room or other things. When I stayed at the Luxor for 1 night. I did it and they gave me a 1 bedroom suit and they waved my early chack in fee. There was other times I have did it amd worked.
@Immarcomurillo I would do it once and see what happens.
