Hehheh. Did you lads know, how I found you was, finally having a carport to wrench on my old Volvo, I had a computer playing music on UA-cam, I was like, "Something's missing." UA-cam search "Boys clowning around in garage." There you were. :) (I lost track but that was vaguely ten years ago, give or take. Edit: Err, musta been more than ten but don't make me admit it. :) )

I’m 38, and I’ve been watching since day one too. At the time before UA-cam commercials, MCM were the only car UA-camrs. Freaking awesome to see how much they have grown. Best channel on UA-cam
Why should you be ashamed?! THESE GUYS ARE BRILLIANT. YOUR COMMENT SHOULD HAVE SAID I HAVE BEEN *PROUDLY* WATCHING M & M NOTHING TO *”ashamed*” of HERE AT MCM!
Been watching you guys since I was 5/6 years old back in 2014. I’m 15 now and would just like to say thank you guys so much for giving me an amazing childhood and for building my love for cars. Keep on going guys!
Soooo many memories, it makes me realise how long I’ve been watching. An amazing friend recently arranged a surprise phone call from Moog. Moog, if you happen to read this, I truly hope you understand how much it meant to me, you are truly like you are on the videos, just a top bloke. Here’s to many more years to come of amazing content. Thank you both gentlemen.
What Moog said about loving cars/car people during the K car Enduro behind-the-scenes film resonated to the core. From a fellow GTI and Rx7 owner I would like to say thank you to your whole team for producing wholesome, fun, cinema-worthy content on a regular basis. You all are part of the best of our generation's contribution to car culture. Thanks again and all the best to yall! 🎉
I’ve been watching for years. I’m 58 and I love this show. Car culture is forever changing and it’s changed here in the UK. I’ve lived in Australia and particularly the western suburbs of Sydney. You’ve given me inspiration and the confidence to work on my cars. Good work fellas! Love from Newcastle upon Tyne England.
Dude, just realized the first video of MCM I watched was the stereo video. I was 15 looking into making amps and stereos. Now I am 28 and I am an electrical engineer. Holy ****. Thank you guys!
I've been watching MCM for about 12 years now consistently and it's honestly as weird as it is to say its's saved my life. So many people love the work you guys do. ❤ Hears to another 16 years.
Ive been watching you for 13 years. Im tuning 23 in 3 weeks, saw you guys at Bathurst in 2015. so much of my life has changed since I was in school dreaming about being old enough to drive, to now being a fully qualified mechanic. Im loving every day of it and you two have been there every step of the way. Probably because you're genuinely a great pair of friends we can all relate to. Thanks for being authentic for 16 years guys!
I’m just about in the same boat, went from being 10 years old to a Porsche Classic restoration technician working on $1,000,000+ Porsches, and these fellas have been there the whole way! Much love to the MCM guys all the way from NYC!
Congrats to 16th years of awesomeness. I don´t know how long ive been watching mcm but i think about alomost 15 years now. Enjoying you guys since then and hope for much more to come. this year will be great, getting a better job buying a new car after not own a car for 4 years now.
16 years ago I was 15 years old in Greece and I was just searching for car videos on UA-cam when I saw your channel. Maybe only a few videos in your channel back then. I wish I could forget everyhting and re-watch all of your videos from the beginning. I already loved cars but you guys made it even stringer. I wish I meet you one day. Recently I bought my first car since I moved to the UK, a 2015 Audi S3 that has only one sticker on it, CHOPPED. Massive respect to both of you and whoever else that has worked on the MCM channel.
‘We made a thing’ I’ve been watching you for perhaps 14 of those 16 years and can confirm you certainly did make a thing. You made and continue to make a difference! I’d love to see a show that gives the MCM ‘family tree’ showing all the different folks you’ve worked with like Al, Benny and all the other members of the MCM family came together and what they’ve gone on to do - also it’s great to recently see the folks who aren’t normally on camera get a mention and it’d be great to hear their stories and about their work Thanks to everyone involved- legends each and every one of you!
Authenticity, vulnerability, raw talent, and hard work are what I think makes you two the absolute best auto channel on UA-cam. Here's to 16 more years!
First video I watched of you guys was back in the driveway days, but didn't go hard core until Miss Daisy. Interesting story. A mate and I used to do what you guys were doing when you started, but back in the 80's before UA-cam. I know for a fact that if UA-cam was a thing then, we could've been where you are now, but down here in Melbourne. Life took us in different directions as time went by, and we're now only famous to our families. LOL. Been great watching you guys grow, and looking forward to what the future brings.
What an amazing 16 years you have created for us all, yourself and the people around you. Everyone did their part, but you two started it all! Wish you the best ❤
I've been watching you boys since i was about 15, getting excited to buy my first car. Watched everything ever since. Now 28 has been great watching the MCM vehicles evolve along with mine. Started with a wagon on chopped springs and all the standard tacky p plate mods to now a properly built XR6T. Cheers, boys, for all the good times over the years and hopefully many more to come 🤙
Your channel is the main reason I have a 1995 Daihatsu Mira. I've been watching at least 10years and look forward to the next 10 years. Cheers Marty and Moog. Love you guys.
Today is my father's and my birthday, and I've loved every episode. Thank you so much, boys, from all the feature films to Moogs' emotional tale (I lost my Dad in 2020 to cancer just before Christmas, so that story really resonated with me). Can't wait to see what you guys bring in the future!
Without doubt the thing which makes your channel better than EVERY other youtube channel out there, is the creativity. And you guys just have so much fun with it. It's infectious, it reminds your viewers to just be a bit sillier every single day and not let life get you down, or take anything too seriously. You guys are legends, thanks for the good times!
Mcm and the original top gear. Two shows on different levels but the same spirit. Cars and driving plus modifications. Feelings that flow from the episodes are definitely awesome.
we all need to agree this is one of the most influential shows out, i am not 22 and started watching from the very start. some many of your vids have influenced me into building cars and now starting on restoring, thank you guys for being influential and bringing a smile to all of us :)
From a bloke who messed around with his tan KE70 back in the day, thanks Blair, Martin and the MCM team for the fun, entertainment and connection. Onya fellas. From WA.
1:00:41 I had been waiting for this moment so much... Miss daisy has been one of my very favorite builds of MCM... Absolutely loved it... Its been such an amazing journey with you guys.. Thank you so much.... ❤❤
Been watching for 10 years and this is easily my favourite channel. You guys are awesome and i hope you keep doing this for many many more years. Greetings from Croatia. PS: Get over here sometime, we have awesome roads by the seaside haha
Thanks guys for everything over the past 16 years Kei to the city is my favorite. I still watch it when I feel sick or a little depressed. It always makes me feel better
Things that make mighty car mods "mighty car mods" for me. 1. Positivity 2. Humour 3. Originality 4. Charisma For me - I love how you stay positive, considering how much attention you get, I think it's amazing that always focus on the positive. I am not someone who works on my car, but I watch you for the "vibes" as the kids say :D
Can't believe I've been watching you guys for more than 10 years. Great timing of the video, my MCM "turbo flow" t-shirt arrived today! Love the honesty, friendship and care you guys put into everything you do!
Thanks guys for all of the years of entertainment, I’ve been with you from the start and to see you grow in skill and professionalism has been awesome. Keep it up!
Honestly, it feels like you guys are mates of mine I first come across you guys back when you upgraded the turbo in the moogaru where I was 12 or 13, now 25 in 2 weeks. It was quite a rough time in my life so I’d be binge watching everything from season 1-4 (at the time you were only upto season 4) on repeat any chance I got, I didn’t have a dad to teach me things on cars so in a weird way you guys took me on that journey and I’ll be forever grateful for all your content and education over the years. I still remember how excited I was to hop on the train back in 2015/6 from cardiff station to Olympic park to see supergramps at Motorex, it was like a dream come true to meet marty that day, I still have my mcm shirt that I wore where you signed it, a year or so later with my red ps and my near on stock R31 Skyline I drove down for MCM Nats, met Moog and had a good yarn with you, I wish I still had that car, equipped with Moogs signature on the boot lip and all
Here's to another 16 years of maaadddddddddness from you legands! Didnt think you guys would also turn in to the worlds best 4wd channel, but im fkn loving it!
I think I speak for the entire community here; a community you had endearing love for since the very beginning; we all thank you and your team and wholeheartedly appreciate the information, it's presentation and it's entertainment and all the efforts and time invested by not only you but the sacrifices yourselves, friends, family, even partners may have made over the years... in your growing and nurturing what has become one of the most appreciated and recognized automotive channels on the web. Cheers mates! - keep doin' wut you do! - madmiketheteacha
Congrats guys, been watching you since day 1 when Marty posted a link to your first video up on the uk micra sports club - thanks for all the entertainment over the years 👌👌👌
Ive been watching since Martys Mums Driveway, and I still keep in mind those bog fumes! Gotta watch that! Lol thanks for the laughs over the years, and heres to many more!
We're being spoiled with these 1+ hours of video. Great content as always! Been here since Miss Daisy and since then you have been my biggest inspiration in the car community. Hoping for more great years to come! Sending love from Sweden!
I can't think of an another show on You Tube that is like Mighty Car Mods. Every other show has caved and either gone to a large corporate run show, or is off the air, or the people working together on it have parted. You guys are my go to show and I love it as much now as I did 16 years ago. Keep up the good work...........
You two were one of the first automotive channel I subscribed to back over a decade ago now, and I'm still enjoying every video the mcm team puts out. You guys are awesome! Thank you.
I found your channel when I first bought my '13 Civic Si in 2013 and have been hooked ever since. The car is no longer in my life as I have traded it in for a 4x4 SUV in pursuit of living a more "adventure" life, which was highly inspired by your 4x4 feature length videos. I am in awe of the amount of free content you guys have put out over the years and the production quality. Moog's soundtracks are some of the most played songs in my library, especially the Kei to the City Opening, Bullet (Japanese version) and Drive! Watching this video made me look back as I remember watching at least 95% of the greatest moments as they were released. I have to give you mad props for the #1 moment, I couldn't even fathom my life being like that and it is awesome that you guys still keep in touch! You guys are awesome!
Started watching you after a Uni mate recommended the Mod Max video. Seen every video since, own lots of merch, and I was even lucky enought to meet you randomly at the Bathurst 1000 a few years ago. Looking forward to many more years ✌️
Attaway fellas! I've been watching for most of that time from right here in NSW, Australia, and have loved every minute of it. From the driveway days to the current workshops and international trips, you guys are an absolute inspiration. I've had many cars in this time, settling on an i20N and a sketchy 2TR-FE/manual Hiace van (one day to be turboed) as my workshop hack. Seeing you guys get the little Hondas and the Yammie MT inspired me to get back into bikes, too, which I'm very much enjoying. All the best to you guys in your current and future endeavours. Can't wait to see what's waiting just over the horizon.
I was introduced to MCM when my dad shared the pod filter mythbusting video in 2012. A day or two's catching up on the previous 4 years videos and I've been hooked ever since. It's mad to think since I've been watching your videos I've had 2 kids, one has started high school yet I can watch an early vid and it feels like it was barely a few months ago. You’ve literally been a 1/3 of my 36 years on this this earth, here's to many more. 🍾🥂
An amazing journey. From two young guys messing about on a driveway putting "black" on trims to being the biggest car show on UA-cam and the greatest 4x4 driving channel of course! Your wholesome friendship thru all the years and real and humble approach to life is what I love most about MCM. Here's to many more adventures. 🥂
I’ve not been along for the ride for the full 16years but what a ride! Congratulations guys. Always a laugh and interesting. Love your work and your passion👍
I really miss the old content at Marty's mum's house. It felt relatable and so fun. I hope his mum is well and maybe you guys could do a fun video at his old house??? If not i totally understand! Thanks for all your guys efforts and content!
I can't imagine a world where MCM doesn't exist. The quality of content is like no other and the best part imo is how you guys never take stuff to seriously. Here's to another awesome 16 years. Cheers lads.
As a 61 year old you bring light abs entertainment to my somewhat pedestrian retirement. From you I have subscribed to the Skid Factory and Benny's Custom Works and has made me appreciate the wider world of fellow automotive talent. Thankyou so much for the less mundane....
Got a gut punch hearing that the kiddo passed away. I figured with everything he had going on it would happen, but still sucks to hear. As a parent, as a human, as someone who tries his best to PREVENT death, still sucks when it happens. I'm legitimately sure that made his day though hanging with you guys and living his dream. Good stuff.
@@sueq8862 MY heart breaks for you truly, but you guys did an amazing job. Not sure what else to say, but man he had an impact on the world. I'm all the way over here in America. Not many parents can say their kids are known across the Earth!
The original version of Moog's Mini is my personal highlight. It was that series that got me into MCM after someone posted it in a classic mini Facebook group I was in. I was instantly hooked and I've watched every single video since. I love how genuine the Marty and Moog are and that it's as much about the friendship and having fun as it is about the cars.
Thanks guys. I'm relatively new to the channel - I don't know why UA-cam never threw you guys at me earlier but I'm here now, and it's nice to have 16 years of videos to watch through. My biggest revelation watching you guys is the process of tuning - it is so regularly overlooked by other channels, but watching the process of bumping up power on the dyno - while also taking into account drivability and reliability has been really eye opening, and in just a few videos drastically changed my perception and understanding of how engines work. Showing the process is very important, and it's what you guys are great at.
Alot of awesome memories watching your channel grow to where it is now. I'm proud to say that I was here during the early TRD Laser days 😂 but one of the things thats overlooked is the quality music that Moog and Marty makes for their channel! It's quintessentially unique that if you hear it you just know that it's them. Well done fellas love your work and here's to more success for many years to come.
I watched my first mighty car mods video with a mate in our local library after school in 2011 while he was trying to convince me that modifying cars wasn’t stupid and I was trying to work out why anyone would put that much effort into a “just a car”. It took me a bit, but here I am with a turbo 1994 mx-5 and hopefully what will eventually be a flat 6 swapped into my 2008 Impreza hatch. I know for sure it’s stupid now, but I wouldn’t change anything. Thanks guys ✌🏻
Came across you guys about 12 years back. I remember your content would always be playing in the background as I would study for exams by myself or be struggling to fall asleep at night at prevent me from feeling stressed out etc. So thank you guys for being so brilliantly passionate about everything you guys do we fed off your guys energy and passion. Im sure many of us can agree that we could quite easily binge watch your guys content as car enthusiast and as mighty car mod fans!
I am watching your videos for many years now, bought lots of merch, listen to the awesome music tracks and the spirit has never changed. So many channels went from budget cars to super high end stuff...but not MCM. Thank you and all the legends for inspire me and help to forget the daily shit.
Ot's heartwarming to see that the 2sxy era is just as emblematic to you as it is to me. I was driving a white 1.5 automatic Lancer right as the season came out, probably what made mcm click with me the most, seeing the rear brake swap just opened my eyes. From doing my first oil change to my first oil spill on my parent's garage all the way to today being an autodetailer, you guys have been such a big and positive influence in my life and have have done nothing but fill everyone with knowledge and entertainment, everything else just goes IN THE BIN! Thank you for all the years of company and for the many more to come. I will one day detail one of your cars, I can promise you that ❤
Been watching you guys I think since 2012? From around the MK3 Golf and what a ride it has been! If I were to pick my Top 3 car builds it would be (in no particular order): - Daihatsu Mira - From 'Kei to the City' and the whole build back in Australia - The whole 2SEXY & 2TWISTD saga! - Moog's JDM Mini And I'd probably pick Moog's Mini as my favorite! It was such an epic build! All the people it got together to work on it and to make things work.. and the end result is just legendary!
I guess that makes me #5, agreeing that the old Saabs are Awesome. Had an 89 SPG similar to what you had, and it was such a cool car. Still miss it. Great to watch the recap guys!
Been watching you guys for 11 years now and can honestly say discovering your videos really helped me get through a shit 2013. Mad respect to you guys for keeping true over the years, being fun, authentic and educational is what has always set you guys apart. Much love
I don't know if it's because it was around the time I started watching you guys or not, but gramps has always had a special spot in my heart. I also learnt so much about Subarus in that series. Thank you guys for doing what you do, and sharing the adventure with the world.
Blue turd and Streed cred builds were the first that I watched from you guys. So thats probably like 13 year. Lifeling subscriber here and I love how you guys improve but keep it real. Thank yoi for everything and heres to 16 more!
just amazing guys, I can't even remember when I started watching but it feels like my entire youth. You've given everyone so much just doing what you do best. Thank you for everything you do.
Thank you so much for all your efforts over the years. It’s great to see so many inspired youth commenting. Us older folk (54 here) also love you guys. Thank you.
I bought a GC8 WRX 12 years ago (and unfortunately sold it a few years ago) and the first mod I wanted to do was spray the rims so I searched on UA-cam "how to spray your rims" and these 2 guys from Sydney provided the perfect video for me to learn off and since then I've been a huge fan and have religiously watched your videos! Absolutely love the show and the content guys. Thank you so much
Ive been watching your videos since the cressida build all those years ago, our family chariot growing up was a cressida so i always wanted one growing up for my first car which is what i got for my p plates (10 years since then and ive had 8 of them in various build levels plus an array of other toyotas and nissans from the 80s and 90s) . You guys have been an inspiration to a whole generation and generations to come for the car scene
I found out about you guys because of Roadkill. The one time I screamed at my T.V. was because of one of your episodes. I've learned so much about cars from you all but THAT DAY was that the spark plug seals come with the valve cover gaskets. I changed spark plug wires twice because i thought that was keeping the oil off of the top of the engine. Did the gasket job the next week. Keep up the awesome work... love it!
From a 10 year old kid to nearly 23 years old and restoring $1,000,000+ Porsches for a living, you guys have been there the whole time! Much love for the whole MCM crew and accoutrements all the way from NYC!
I was laid up with a broken arm in 2015 when I started binging your channel - has it really been 9 years?? Appreciate all of the work y'all put in to this.
American here, Been watching since 2012 when I got my first smart phone. Just had joined the military and your shows help me get through lonely times being away from home. We’ve all changed and yet we’re still here.

Simply awesome, so many smiles along the way all rolled up into one video. Thanks for them all.
Been watching for 10 years and this is easily my favourite channel. You guys are awesome and i hope you keep doing this for many many more years. Greetings from Croatia. PS: Get over here sometime, we have awesome roads by the seaside haha
Marty... Moog..... Do you actually realize the godly status you have both created with every episode, that I have followed for years!
Simply legends. You never failed us and kept your word.
Thanks guys for everything over the past 16 years Kei to the city is my favorite. I still watch it when I feel sick or a little depressed. It always makes me feel better
Things that make mighty car mods "mighty car mods" for me.
1. Positivity
2. Humour
3. Originality
4. Charisma
For me - I love how you stay positive, considering how much attention you get, I think it's amazing that always focus on the positive.
Keep it up!
Honestly, it feels like you guys are mates of mine
I first come across you guys back when you upgraded the turbo in the moogaru where I was 12 or 13, now 25 in 2 weeks. I still remember how excited I was to hop on the train back in 2015/6 from cardiff station to Olympic park to see supergramps at Motorex, it was like a dream come true to meet marty that day, I still have my mcm shirt that I wore where you signed it, a year or so later with my red ps and my near on stock R31 Skyline I drove down for MCM Nats, met Moog and had a good yarn with you, I wish I still had that car, equipped with Moogs signature on the boot lip and all
Im so glad you mentioned 2Sexy. Love that car too but Im also a huge CE Lancer/Mirage lover. Im glad you never gave up in it Marty
Here's to another 16 years of maaadddddddddness from you legands! Didnt think you guys would also turn in to the worlds best 4wd channel, but im fkn loving it!
The roadkill crossover is what got me started on watching you guys. Keep it up and I love your shows!
You're a lovely pair of blokes and it's been a real pleasure watching you faff about with cars all these years. thumbs up imoji.
It's crazy to think many of us have grown up watching you guys work on nuggets in a driveway
So good to see Kegan.
Epic, you guys work so hard to entertain us, thankyou. Even at 63 years old I'm loving it!
Me too! I'm 62 and love everything MCM. Always thank my daughter for introducing me to these guys prob 13 years ago.
Been watching since day 1 and have been loving every moment! Well done guys!....Still waiting to see that Supra!
Bro I've been watching since I was 8, and you guys have been such a big part of why I love cars! Happy 16th Anniversary MCM!
You got me through a dark times boys. Will always have love.
I really miss the old content at Marty's mum's house. It felt relatable and so fun. I hope his mum is well and maybe you guys could do a fun video at his old house??? If not i totally understand! Thanks for all your guys efforts and content!
Not 100% sure, but think some fans found the house. Between that and usual issues neighbors probably had with excessive cars and car stuff going on.
@@I_Love_Quokkasunfortunately not only found the house but stole from it, too
amazing video, i dont even know when i started watching, probably 13 or so years ago. never miss a beat, love it all.
Big thanks for three lots of long form content in the last couple of weeks boys ❤
I can't imagine a world where MCM doesn't exist. The quality of content is like no other and the best part imo is how you guys never take stuff to seriously. Here's to another awesome 16 years. Cheers lads.
Thank you guys for all yall do yall have made my week every week for 5 to 6 years now thank you
As a 61 year old you bring light abs entertainment to my somewhat pedestrian retirement. From you I have subscribed to the Skid Factory and Benny's Custom Works and has made me appreciate the wider world of fellow automotive talent. Thankyou so much for the less mundane....
Well done Marty & Moog! You've given us so much joy. Thank you and please keep going
Not many parents can say their kids are known across the Earth!
thanks for 16 years boys you 2 are now like friends to me
The original version of Moog's Mini is my personal highlight. It was that series that got me into MCM after someone posted it in a classic mini Facebook group I was in. I was instantly hooked and I've watched every single video since. I love how genuine the Marty and Moog are and that it's as much about the friendship and having fun as it is about the cars.
Happy 16th anniversary .🎉 I haven’t watched for that long. I’ve watched for the past 4 years . Seen some epic builds . Keep up the good work 🤟
Thanks guys.
So many great episodes and moments over the years!
I've been with you guys since the beginning! Part of the inspiration for starting my own channel!
Love you guys , keep up the awesome work and keep making awesome memories ❤
Came across you guys about 12 years back. I remember your content would always be playing in the background as I would study for exams by myself or be struggling to fall asleep at night at prevent me from feeling stressed out etc. So thank you guys for being so brilliantly passionate about everything you guys do we fed off your guys energy and passion. Im sure many of us can agree that we could quite easily binge watch your guys content as car enthusiast and as mighty car mod fans!
Been watching since Moog's head looked like a carrot. Love you guys! Happy impossible anniversary!
I will one day detail one of your cars, I can promise you that ❤
Happy 16th anniversary MCM! ❤😊
Been watching you guys I think since 2012? From around the MK3 Golf and what a ride it has been!
If I were to pick my Top 3 car builds it would be (in no particular order):
- Daihatsu Mira - From 'Kei to the City' and the whole build back in Australia
- The whole 2SEXY & 2TWISTD saga!
- Moog's JDM Mini
And I'd probably pick Moog's Mini as my favorite! It was such an epic build! All the people it got together to work on it and to make things work.. and the end result is just legendary!
Love you guys ! MCM forever!!!
Much love
Been watching since i was around 13... I'm now 21... keep it up guys! I love all your nuggetty content...
I don't know if it's because it was around the time I started watching you guys or not, but gramps has always had a special spot in my heart. I also learnt so much about Subarus in that series. Thank you guys for doing what you do, and sharing the adventure with the world.
Marty and Moog, thank you very much for doing this all those years!
Keep up the awesome work... love it!
16 years ago who would have thought 2 guys from Australia would have one of the best automotive UA-cam channels. Here's to 16 more!
