You said a ton on each of the copper bales? 5he one you pointed with the flexible pipe out did look like a piece of art work. Would still love to melt it down into some100 and 1,000 ounce ingots. Those would also be impressive.
That was such a nice steel table Ben. Surprised you didn’t keep it. If I woulda saw that in the road I would have grabbed it, I got a nice Matco one before for free worth 350+.
Ah - the Claw - the Claw ! Hey - Price Check - You had a Lot of Stuff and the Yard was very Busy indeed - wow - all those Blocks of Copper - wow again ! Hey - another Garage Clean Out ! Thanks for all the Up-Dates and many Cheers from us in QLD !!!!
Prices are slightly up in Kansas city and it's dead of winter makes me extremely optimistic for spring I think we will see a huge spike holding alot of non ferrous and prepared right now
You're halfway done w/ the garage. Very good progress! 👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌💙💙💙 Those bales of copper looked super awesome. Never seen copper like that before. Seen other metals like iron, steel, and aluminum, but never copper. Thanks for showing that. 👍💙💙💙😁😁😁
Still pretty good price for your yard excellent update video when do you think you'll be doing a scrap marathon? Thank you for sharing this with us six stars brother
Just found your channel. I’ve been scrapping for only about a month now. I’ve accumulated a good amount of copper, steel, aluminum etc. But I just don’t understand how in the world you get your hands on so much scrap. What are your secrets 😅
When I was a kid, my father saved pennies when they were still 95% copper. There were almost 1800 pounds worth. That would be about 816 kilos in your system. Mother took them all back to the bank after the divorce. So we never got the copper value for them.
@@vroom431 Yes Sir, your right. But my father didn't care. He has evaded taxes, Got free electricity. Hes a POS, I wont deny that. But I don't care what I say on the internet. He has piles of gold and silver.
Lansing area here. Weird to see how prices float in different places. Not consistent either, sometimes scrap steel is higher in A while copper is higher in B. I used to go to west side iron and metal in GR but I’ve been going to padnos more lately.
@@jbarbatano Yeah Padnos seems to own most of the scrap yards around this area ,,,west side is still independent but bet they sell there stuff to padnos and west side moved some yrs back to the Buchanan & Hall st area now. I was told he pays better than padnos.
thanks mate, needed to know a couple prices, for anyone who's wondering l travel 400 kay to sell my scrap at manhari's and usually then go to Ben to sell my e-scrap, and its worth the effort
Gloves Ben! Wear your PPE when on camera! 😉😉😛 that scrap steel can cut a nasty one when handling those crossmembers and cases. Cheers mate, another awesome video otherwise 🤘🏼🍺🍺
That epa rubbish levy is an absolute joke on steel ., i tried to argue my scrap steel is 100 percent clean to no avail , so i make sure to add waste and crap into the load , petty i know but it makes me feel better . Cheers ben
Good for filleting fish, very noisy for scrapping stuff on. Solid steel frame with a 2" chipboard top is ideal for a scrapping table- gotta be able to use hammers on it!
2:34’mins. A Close one! that steel table was going to roll into the drivers window/door when the guy in the forklift was dumping it on top of the recycling bin.
If this was in Sweden you would have a full van coming home as they would refuse to take it,to much plastic and boards left on the comps, thats a NO THX
In any case, it being bulky objects that are mostly air, it'll be shredded. Anything not magnetic will be separated from the shredded steel. If it's pressed into cubes, anything that burns will be incinerated in a furnace.

Not only copper but I heard it’s going to be a good year for all precious metals.

Hey Ben! Thanks for the heads-up. Great to see that prices are holding relatively steady. 👍 👌

Hello. Thanks for the heads up. I am from the UK; I will assume price of metals are the same in the UK, have a scrapping Xmas.
Time at the scrap yard is so much fun. I really like how that yard does biz. Here we just throw it on the ground.

hello, how much money did you get otherwise?
Why were you throwing psus without first removing the cable? Surely unprocessed low-grade would be better Vale than irony ally?

Man that table has to be worth resale!???
Thanks for the update Ben! Say hi to the chickens for me! 🐔🐔
Is there a way that you are able to know the prices per yard you go to before walking in blind so to speak?
Thanks for the updates, have a good holiday

If Mom did it and it was an honest mistake - Bummer. If Mom did it out of spite - GRRRRR Still sucks :-)
You can't get the copper value out of it that would be illegal. It's illegal to deface money. you should watch what you confess on the internet.
@@armchairobserver4747 No she just didn't care, my father was cheep. frugal. I think she wanted to spite him.

@james kirk understood, however blasting your illegal business across the internet pretty dumb.
You've been stripping variable speed drive's by the looks of it. They are excellent for scrapping out.
Always nice to see your scrap runs!

Burning plastic is terrible for the environment and in most countries illegal 😏
As you stand among those blocks of copper, it like standing beside stacks of $100 dollar bills..😊
definitely worth a 4 hour trip in my case

Hard to make a dollar with the pressing price in Geelong it's at 11c kg. That's my bread and butter
