The best Malagueña I've ever heard hands down!
I cannot even begin to comprehend how there are people walking right by!😱
How it is a shame I didn't exist when these were around 😭

They are probably foreigners who lack appreciation or are in a rush to get in a long line to a ride

Try Madison Scout 1988 Malagueña, that’s the best

I live near Disney World... Most people that go are families that spend AT LEAST $5-10K on just Disney expenses not including flights and everything else (some families save their whole lives to go). They're usually worried about making sure they get to rides on time or getting their princess pictures. It's usually AP holders or people that get in free that get to enjoy these moments more

My husband and I saw Future Corps play many times. We actually sought them out when we were in Epcot! They were wonderful. But, sadly they are not playing any longer in Disney.

I used to go to Disneyworld just to listen to Future Corp. I would listen to all their performances in the same day.

Dave Smith, soprano cocked-n-locked at 45deg screamin' away. Props to the Indiana native, Perry Meridian HS and IU grad. I met him and a few of them after one of the shows I watched with my friends one summer day...we saw every show that day (yeah, we were one of those guys)...what a great group and fun to talk to.

I think I found former Madison Scout Dave Coolidge screaming on a soprano bugle too!
In fact, forget Zauss, Dave's the one playing the high note at the end, front and center with blonde hair....and holding over. Go Scouts!

In 1990 3 piston G-bugles were legalized for use in competition drum corps. They are all playing G bugles in this video.

I still say the horn lick at 4:28 of this video is my favorite from their entire CD. Clean, articulate, in unison...sweet!

How can prop just walk by this amazing performance and not stop to listen. Oh yeah. Because the population would rather listen to pop. If lady gaga performed in that same spot. How many people would stop.

I think by the time I marched in '92, there were perhaps two corps still using 2-valve bugles.

    • @TheBandMan
      @TheBandMan 7 років тому

I marched PR in 95 and they had a couple 2 valve contras. But I believe they were holding back on upgrades due to possible moves to all-key brass in a few years.

so why is everyone arguing on what instrument that is. after 1990 3 valved horns were allowed so its not like theres any physical difference that can be made in this video to distinguish them.
and who honestly cares if its a trumpet or not, its the performance that matters.

I do not know how much Disney contracted "Future Corps" for....but they must have gotten their entertainment dollars worth. Knowing that Future Corps wa coming out....I staked my claim an stood to watch them! Professional? They were all that and more.
