The lionesses would have normally suffocated the buffalo to death . But they were uncomfortable with the tourist being in close proximity to their environment. Tonetare it was already injured...the moment it turned around, the lions would have just went back to munching its ass. It was doomed, even if it turned around and left the lions would just trail it until it eventually fell.

Yeah man. Right after the filming they picked up the buffalo, threw a couple bandages on him, and he was good to go. He ran off and joined the herd, and lived happily ever after

Seeing as the buffalo No longer had any intestines, what with them having been chewed up and swallowed by several lions, I reckon it was beyond saving.

Tiger hunts bigger prey.
They are cubs....4 males one female......check the mane line on top of their heads.....A fully grown male lion or sometimes female can kill a large cape buffalo alone....a lot of such videos on UA-cam.......tigers on the other hand can't hunt cape buffalos bcos they are scared of injuries from stronger prey.....they rather hunt water buffalos which are much smaller cows with smaller or no horns, much less aggressive and less muscle mass...🦁🐯...I love both btw🤗
