When i go to mass in the modern type and i see the tabernacle in the former altar, the high altar being ignored, it makes me sad. In the old mass everyone, even atheists did notice the Focus of the mass. It is located in the Center of the high altar. Jesus is really there in the eucarist. But today that sacrament seems not to be the Center of a church nor the Focus of Catholic holy mass. Normally you go there to worship God, the holy spirit and Christ, and not the Priest or anyone else. (Sry for my bad english)

We didn't lose it. It was taken from us in the name of false ecumenism which was warned against by Pope Pius XI in his encyclical Mortalium animos. Everything that this document warned against has been totally disregarded since Vatican 2. The theology of the Tridentine Mass was an obstacle to the much hoped for unity with the Anglican and and Lutheran churches and that is why it had to go.

Yes I am 24 last year converted from Lutheranism and I firmly believe it is coming back. Latin mass is full here❤ at FSSPX parish . But it.will also come back to diocesan masses soon enough
Seeing this video makes me ask a question. "Why does it only show white, European faces throughout?" Surely the Catholic Church embraces ALL people so why not show the real catholicity and be inclusive.

In a parish I once lived in the tabernacle was off the sanctuary in a cupboard in the wall.
My sister who is not very religious or well catechized couldn't believe the tabernacle was on the side.
