    One thing I really like is that it actually shows the destruction of the City, the war and the after effects of Capital City.

    I'm going to be honest. Despite the effort in improving the stage design, I was hoping that the modder could do more then just adding stuff to an existing stage design. I would like to see modders completely change and improve on the base level design, and stage length.
    With stuff like this, it shows Forces could be much better then it was if it had much better lever design.

    Still bothers me how there is only one homing attack animation
    Just like Sonic 4 Episode 1 and Sonic 06.

    You all know how much I dislike the level designs in the original game and how the fan remakes do not exactly live to expectations, in my opinion. However, this is the best attempt at a remastering. Platforming isn't added just for the sake of it, but rather it's complemented with the speed of the level and there is alternative paths. Of course, so far it's only an object edit, but I still love that they managed to improve on the level without having to break the flow drastically.

      *+Ace* Because the people who made the mod were tried of the "boost" formula and wanted to go back to adventure style of gameplay, they put a lot of effort into this and to say its a mess I just kinda rude to the people who made it.
      But seriously, what were you doing in the original stage? Boosting and Homing on enemies, when you weren't doing that, you were going through awkward as fuck 2D sections that indeed did not at all work with the boost.

      *+jpntonese YT* What I'm doing is giving constructive criticism and pointing out various flaws in the overall level design. I'm hardly being "rude". Also, if these people are "so tired of the boost formula" and resorted to making this sort of level design as a means of "going back to Adventure style of gameplay", they're terribly misguided then. The level design doesn't match the boost formula's core gameplay, that's a terrible mistake on their part and equates to incompetent level design where it doesn't mesh well with the controls. The platforming sections in 3D are proof of the disharmony between the level design and the controls.
      Even with Modern Sonic's controls modified, he still doesn't work right with this sort of level design. My critique applies to the original stage also. There should not have been any 2D sections that had platforming elements when you have a character that's built entirely for racing through race-track level designs. That's incompetent game design on Sonic Team's part as well. The boost gameplay should've been solely about racing through the levels as quick as you can while traversing through twists and turns with the drift (which Sonic Team foolishly took out in Forces) and going through multiple pathways which can either slow you down or get you to the goal quicker. On top of that, the levels should've been entirely 3D. That's the boost gameplay at its finest.

    There's too much of a focus on platforming in this stage considering the design philosophy of the boost gameplay is entirely about racing through race-track level designs. Sonic's stiff controls, where he controls like a racer, aren't suited for precise platforming. On top of that, the platforming sections in 3D are utterly atrocious because of the camera. You can hardly get a good fixture on where exactly you're going to land when you're jumping and again, Sonic's controls are too awkward to utilize in sections like that. It's no wonder Sega/Sonic Team kept much of the platforming elements in 2D sections exclusively. Even then, there should hardly ever be platforming sections in boost gameplay to begin with. It's counter-intuitive.

      Ace Theres a mod for smoother controls although this is as far the modder can go in terms of ..well modding the level design. At least its more interesting.

      And THAT'S the reason why Unleashed is the only Boost game I like.
      Colors was solely based on slow and blocky 2D platforming with the Wisps, which butchered both the level design and Sonic himself, with the occasional 3D Quick Step to Win. And you barely use the Boost in the game (Wisp fueled Boost)
      Generations tried to make the level more "open" and I apprecciate the effort, but the Boost is just the wrong formula for that idea.
      P.S: Sorry for being a stalker, but we already touched this argoment in that TWIP's video.

      Unleashed was the only Boost game that nailed the gameplay philosophy of the Boost to Win formula, Unleashed is a flawed game mind you, but it did the best job as the Boost game IMO.
      Hell, I even enjoyed the Werehog !
      A lot of people praise Generations for being more "open", the thing is that the Boost formula is really limited and very linear, the Adventure formula is the formula that can nail "wide open" spaces, though it doesn't mean that it's the only gameplay style that can get the job done.
      Also Generations "wide spaces" are barren, almost empty.

    I’ll admit that some level design is kinda fun to me, like Egg Gate for Modern Sonic but I wish that was a bit longer and Sunset Heights but again, I wish that was longer as well. Now that I think about it, if there is going to be another Boost Sonic game again in the future, they should take notes of what they did wrong with Forces level design and make it more fleshed out and longer so I don’t feel the need to say to myself, “That’s it?”

    From all the remastered versions of the levels, this seems to be one of the best, Platforms are everywhere also the enemies, still It's looks like a Hard mode. But comparing to previous ones, this one is good, but I'm not gonna comment; hurr durr this How Forces should have been

    Alright people. I know there are mostly positive comments in here but to the people who were so awful, here's a little something for you. First off the main point of this mod is to have continuity from when they first attacked Metropolis. He did it brilliantly and the immersion is perfect. Second, I'm a subscriber to Infinite Forces and he just started modding a few days ago. Of course it isn't going to be the greatest. Let him have time to get better. Finally, it is really hard to completely redesign a stage. Especially since Forces has such little to work with. I don't mod but I can tell the effort they put into their work to try and make a mediocre game better. Just try to be nicer please?

    Holy fucking shit! Level design. Make a note future modders, needs to be even longer and fully 3D.
    Also make a separate version where there are 0 wisp capsules. There’s a mod that makes you get Boost via Rings like Generations. So make a separate version of the stage that’s exactly the same, but no wisps.

      I didn't touch much of the stage for platforming. For example first 2D section there is no additional platforming, but shows the difference between a skilled and unskilled player!(Speed run route, or casual!)
      3D can skill with the other route.
      The other 2D, there is no change to platforming in the down section, except the moving platforms fall!
      There is barely any focused platforming in this stage.

    I swear every time I look at the comment section for one of blue's videos, its just utter cancer. It sort of just makes me regret being a sonic fan due to how disrespectful everyone is to each other with the occasional standard comments that are not being overly positive saying that this is what it should've been, or the people just calling it shit when some don't even understand the limitations to forces modding, I just wanna see a middle ground for once apposed to this countless amount of opinionated shit talk.

    these are some weird design choices, i don't know if im on board. most just seems like filler, like that weird box area with multiple enemies and moving platforms, or the that 2D top section with the slanted platforms.

    The problem with Forces' soundtrack is that it doesn't even fit the tone of a level. It sounds more like Dubstep ANIME OST than anything.
    Compare that to Unleashed, or ADVENTURE, as those soundtracks had music that fit each level like a glove.
    With Adventure, it used different genres of music to convey a tone that relates to a level.
    With Unleashed, using different cultures, they made a soundtrack that had many different genres of music depending on each culture.
    With Forces, it's like they took old songs, faff around with it, and made it so unfitting, that it doesn't even match the tone of GREEN HILL ZONE.

    Honestly, one of the smallest complaints I have about forces is the running animation.
    Coming off from generations...this one just feels too forced as if it's not really sonic.
    He's too upright while he runs and his feet look far too slow and floppy for how fast he's really moving.

You're trying to shield Infinite Forces from any form of criticism even if some of it happens to be constructive. That foolishness is unhealthy. You hardly have any points in your previous comment considering you're simply trying to inflate Infinite Forces's ego. Considering how you're also a subscriber to him, that shows how biased you are. If you didn't come here to start a fight, you wouldn't have posted an idiotic comment in the first place.
      Lastly, that quote of mine you quoted is a prime example of constructive criticism. I'm pointing out exactly where the mod's shortcomings are and how the overall level design is a complete mess. The mod creator can easily learn a thing or two with that critique and thus improve. Also you took that "they're terribly misguided" quote out of context. I'm talking about mod creators who create level designs that're filled with platforming sections and places to explore, as means of going back to Adventure style gameplay, even though Sonic still controls like a race car and his gameplay is not suited for platforming and exploration in the first place. You're literally such a conniving piece of shit, you had to take my words out of context. What do you have to say for yourself? That shows how you actually are itching to start a fight.

    Why can't we just have a full 3D Sonic game made by fans financed by SEGA,same scenario as with Mania. The Sonic fanbase has so many great people. I mean look at the fangames. Now imagine some would be employed by SEGA to make their own game. I think as said as it sounds but Sonic Team lost its magic and needs to retire. Back then if you saw the Sonic Team logo you knew it was a proper game. Now it's not even close to comparing it from before.
