Just pull a ponytail at the top center of your head, make the ponytail about 5 inches long and you will achieve this look. For bangs make the old skool triangle method. Twist them and cut. Wellah!

In the last shot pics they used a curling iron to bring in better shape. All looks great well styled tho. Got to add on some extra work and tons of hair care products.. it just not what you think you see when he’s styling it right after the cut!

NellyZ yes it will. Because styling is key to the look. It’s a great haircut and he did it better than I would have, clearly he has done it several times. But to get that look it needs to be styled correctly.
Everyones hair looks crazy when they wake up.

I wonder how this cut would look on someone with curly hair, or someone with wavy hair, or something in-between?? 🤔 Would it be better to cut this style on curlier hair when it’s dry or should it still be done while wet? Would cutting/styling the front fringe area change at all since curly hair has a tendency to shrink when dry? Is it even possible to cut curly hair into a mullet without it looking extremely dated?
In other words, my closest hair salon is a 45-minute drive from where I live, so going there isn’t practical, and this exact hairstyle is what I’ve had in mind for years, but I don’t know if it’ll look nice with wavy hair that’s starting to transition into curly hair lol
So I saw this video ua-cam.com/video/tA7z6uX15ng/v-deo.html And decided that's what I wanted. (people commented it's called a shag haircut.) I got it done and it looks terrible but I don't think the hair stylist did it right since my hair goes from around my nose length to my shoulder length almost immediately. I think it could be worth a shot though. It grows back if you don't like it. If my layers were blended a little more I think it would look great. (My hair is wavy also.)

This cut eliminated weight from the bottom and pushes it more towards the crown of the head. With your description I would do this cut but leave it longer.

I don’t like that the hair was restyled at the end. It gives the impression that she went right from that chair to the photo shoot and that is NOT the case. That last style took more work. Do not get this cut if you think you are going to look like the dolled up version at the photo shoot.

This wouldn’t work on natural curly hair. Needs to be dry cut to see which way the naturally curl goes. Stylist does not use the diffuser correctly. The finished cut looks nothing like the model’s hair shown in the beginning and end.

@@pinds83 They're not showing the entire process. This is like doing open heart surgery and not bothering to show the part where you close the patient. It's dishonest; if more is done, show the rest.
@@signalfire6 It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out they did some styling afterwards. Don't get so bent out of shape about it. You could use a curling iron or just diffuse your natural curl. It's really not a big deal.
I gave myself this exact haircut and all I do is use some light oil, curl cream, and dry my hair with a diffuser until my hair is about 50% dry. It looks almost as curly as the after, without the use of any curling iron.
Btw, if you watch an open heart surgery, see the patient on camera afterwards alive and conscious, but didn't see the surgeon close up the patient, it should be pretty obvious that they did so. It's not dishonest of them, you just don't have any common sense.
It worked perfect!!!! Best haircut ever. No Tools needed, just a styler and a Gel. My curls are back. 🥰
Lindsey Pindsey the reason I am all bent out of shape (I’m a licensed hairdresser) is because people see this and go, “oh I want this because I want to look like her every day”. That’s unrealistic if you aren’t willing to put in the work for the look. That’s why it’s a big deal.

this drying is totally opposite what curly hair needs. It will make your hair totally frizzy. the guy doesnt know how to use a diffuser a then he demolishes the hair totally...terrible..
