  • Throughout the years, variations on inverted layers have appeared in many past TIGI collections and remain an essential salon technique. This look uses a classic surface layering technique that releases weight throughout the interior, creating volume and movement while, at the same time, maintaining length and weight through the perimeter. The result is a versatile, adaptable look suited to all hair types, which can be finished in a variety of ways

I come back to this whenever I've needed to trim my own hair. It looks great thanks to you, I am more happy with this than whenever I've gone to someone else to do it for me❤

WOW! BLESS! despite being an amateur, I find the terminology used here to be both concise AND explanatory! other tutorial channels feature 20 minutes of rambling in circles... THANK YOU

LOVE this. Thank you. My only complaint is that it's not styles straight afterwards so I can't see how the cut looks.

THIS IS TRUE DaVinci Level Artistry!! The BEST thing about this technique is that I am betting there are few hair mediums that this would NOT work or turnout well on other than the obvi such as CURLY (to the 10 power!!). Amazing. Absolutely amazing.
