Area roads from Buffalo, Laukawana, Blasdell, Hamburg and other areas littered with abandoned cars after hundreds were stranded. So frozen fish now being served at Hoaks?
these are super crazy to see, man it makes me want to live in a earthship, or a partially buried home, where your house gets most of the insulation from the dirt, these houses look like they are getting the full brunt of the ice effect.
Go Help that Duck....... sCrew the Videoing.................
@@OldGuy70s We tried. Unfortunately they have the power of flight. Each time we get close they run and fly and it puts additional stress on them so they are better off without our "help". They are all over the city.
I could tell it was NY just by the gas prices. $2.51 here where I am in SC :)
great video. hello from Russia )
I sympathize with you, this is unusual for you. It's a normal winter here in Siberia. Take care of yourself and your health.
I'm really impressed with the drone flying perfectly in that wind.
Maybe 3d 😂
Yesterday this would have been more difficult haha
@@Buffalosabskis Yesterday that drone would have met it's shadow.
He was in a car during the windy parts.
I’m more impressed the battery kept going at such low temperatures.
If the ice castle image of that first shot of a blizzard stricken home weren't so sad, it could be considered a fine piece of artwork.
So many abandoned vehicles on the road.
Look like scenes out of "Day After Tomorrow". A snowcat would be a wonderful vehicle to have during this time.
That what I said exactly the day after tomorrow.
That shows you how powerful and mighty our God is, and he can stop everyone in their tracks in a minute don’t matter how rich and powerful we are, and we have no control over this crippling ice storm and there’s no one to blame. It must be hard getting through this snow in case of emergency.
@@dellriat9026 pfffft.....the rich and powerful don't have to put up with this. They are out on a tropical island (epstein #2) having a ball.
@@bobbys4327 por favor 🙄
@@dellriat9026so are u insinuating he did this on purpose to remind us he can?
Good video to prove to people just how bad this storm was. Hearing about it is one thing, but seeing video like this takes it to another level. Amazing! My thoughts and hopes to those living it. Thanks!
The first few clips with the muted audio makes it seem like its from a post apocalyptic world. Especially the shot with the TESLA building. Awesome footage!
I live in the South and I have not had my 'winter' coat out for 5 years. So we have all be moaning, groaning about the temps (1 degrees). After seeing this I am going to shut my mouth and hope all of these people are at home and safe. Best wishes Buffalo.
Praying for the homeless and all the lives lost. Such a scary situation. I was fortunate enough to be stuck at work for 72 hours. Wasn’t happy about it at all, but others had it much much worse. God Bless
What is the problem? In Russia, this is the usual winter weather.
Not going to lie, that first shot was terrifying and beautiful
YES I AGREE
So how was that terrifying
nothing beautiful about dirty snow
I live here and it’s dumb! The first shot is a restaurant called HOAKS best fish in town lol
@@weatherornotheresmike9303 mnow who's gonna buy grillled fish
Best wishes from Brasil! Our thoughts are with you all,! Be brave and stay strong U.S.A.!
I live in the downtown Buffalo area and it's crazy, so many abandoned cars and my own car is covered from the ground up in snow, barely visible cars on the street. We had to climb a mountain of snow to get out of the house and see what was going on, and one of our doors still won't open. Luckily we still have power but our neighbors haven't been as fortunate. I hope all the animals found a little bit of warmth under houses. There's a stray cat I adore on my street and I hope to see him again.
hi friend ♥️
Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him Who sits on the throne, And to The Lamb, forever and ever.
As for the animals....snow is insulating (think igloos). So if they can burrow in a hole...they'll be ok. And snow is water to drink.
Awwww…please keep us posted if you see that cat again! 💜
Aww I hope your cat friend will be safe and warm somewhere.
Breath-taking shots. Unbelievable the strength of this storm.
Reed Timmer at 8:02 made me laugh.
I grew up in Buffalo and still have family there. I remember these events all to well. I used to tell myself "it builds character" when trying to dig myself out of a mountain of snow. Still true.
It’s powder! I put my boots on to clear dryer vent. Told my husband I really need waders! When I stepped out on the driveway there was a shoulder high snowdrift to
Get to backyard. The dog made a path for
Me! I was using the shovel like a broom to get to the vent. The dog was leaping running around like a deer. He loves the snow. My niece lives a mile away and was without power 2 1/2 days. They were on their 4 th generator just trying to stay warm.
@@maggiebogdan6249 wow no thanks. I don't think I'll ever live in an area that gets that kind of snow.
Same, born and raised. At 27, my wife and I got out of there.
@@Constitutionalist76 sounds like a good move

This year is extremely tough for peoples who lives in new York Buffalo.
Nah its fine relax buddy
We've had 2 'once in a generation snow storm' in a month 😅...
Nah its buffalo.. It snows we straight. Some ppl just dumb
Just another "Three Day Bar Party"! Just tough on the livers!
@@Jason-vi8ny And the generation before you had these every week. Sorry climate change didn't work out for you.
Great video, it's amazing what a few days can do! Thanks for the video and the time it took to produce. Merry Christmas!
Thank you. Merry Christmas to you as well!
I live out in Cheektowaga. Incredibly grateful that we have power and heat right now, because a lot of people are still in the dark and cold. I can only hope that power crews can get to them soon and that they can warm up. This entire storm has been terrifying, and I hope those who got stranded were able to go somewhere safe. Definitely one of the weirdest Christmases I've been through, even taking Christmas 2020 into consideration.
I live in West Seneca and I'm tired of winter already.
AMEN! I'M ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAS NO GAS OR ELECTRICITY ! BUT THE POLICE DID A WELFARE CHECK ON ME AND NEIGHBORS AND TOLD ME NATIONAL GRID IS OUT THERE WORKING TO GET OUR SERVICES RESTORED!

Very glad you're safe... Best wishes from California

The images are so impressive, I'm living in Queens, and the weather here is cold but, nothing compares to what you've had. Be safe.
I agree
Amazing footage, thanks
thankyou for this video.
Dude actually tried to hit the drone with a snowball at the very start lol.
As a trucker who is usually in PA, NJ, and NY, I really am glad I decided to stay home for Christmas for the first time in 18 years and didn't get stuck in this mess.
@@gardenandharvest617 It can get pretty rough sometimes, but that seems especially bad for this time of year. I'm going to hate to see if it gets worse around the usual time around the end of January to the end of February.
My heart goes out to all those up there from Seattle all the way to the east coast suffering through this since there are millions of people without power during such a storm.
I live in Buffalo that restaurant is not located in Buffalo it is on Route 5. The streets have snow due to plows not being able to see the road in front of them. The cars that you see that are stranded are people who were trying to get home just couldn't make it on time.
they must be charging up the snow plows lol
Great video footage. For those not familiar with the area. That’s South Buffalo and Hamburg, a small part of downtown.
Ah thanks from the video title I thought they meant Hamburg Germany!
Looks miserable
@@bobdobalina838 Hamburg New York which is a suburb of Buffalo! Wtf is talking about Germany? The video is about our blizzard!
Definitely beautiful to look at but not enough to take away from how many people have died; I've been stuck in my house since last Friday here in Buffalo just thankful that I didn't lose power and praying for the families of people that have lost their loved ones. I've never seen anything like this.
Drones are very useful. Great job on surveying the damage, thanks.
Drones so helpful especially in these situations ! Great drone operator and video editing. Thank you very much.
Thank you jesse
It's almost like in a apocalyptic movie.
See The Day After Tomorrow.
Only it's not a movie...over here enjoying it 😜 not really lol but trying

It is one, I've never seen it this bad in My life.

Oh cuanto lo siento vivo en Cuba y Gracias a Dios las temperaturas acá son muy cálidas aunque este día han refrescado un poco deseo que Dios sea misericordioso y se recuperen pronto de estas gélidas temperaturas Cuídense mucho
The early winter lake effect snow off Erie is brutal. The sooner the lake freezes the better.
Wow ....looks like that movie The Day After Tomorrow!! Dang. Thank you for sharing
The view is in between a bird's eye and human perspective, love the shots.

You have incredible footage. Thank you so much for all of your videos.
The frozen houses and restaurant look unreal, so cool, would love to see in person
Is so hard to get a closer look cuz the ice around .
Are people in these houses. Such a site. Mouth dropping to see.
OMG, these are like scenes from some kind of disaster movie! Just unreal.
i like how that village person was ready to attack the drone
He was gonna snowball the drone. Lo.
Красотища!!!
З Різдвом ! У вас справжня зима )))
Фильм "Ледниковый период". Ведь они этого хотели. Вот и пришло. Желание исполнилось. После ядерной войны на Земле будет так!
Does this place flood when all that snow melts?
Дома с сосульками, как декорации к фильму. Красиво
Praying the power is restored to ALL ASAP - does show, I think, in pretty convincing manner how quickly everything WOULD grind to a halt if this sort of weather lasted longer than a few days - once you couldn't recharge the drones & phones, the pain would begin to bite. Hope it won't be forgotten, but municipalities like Buffalo learn & act to protect citizens from extreme weather events. Keep safe everyone & thanks for saving & sharing this event with the big wide world!
...красота...царство снежной королевы...
У нас таких царств - каждый второй регион. 😂
This is really giving me The Long Dark vibes!!
I used to live in Hamilton Ontario and remember the blizzard of 1977. What a disaster that was. And, of course, Buffalo took the brunt of the worst. The “lake effect” seems to effect that city more than any other. I live in central BC now, and even though we get cold temps, we don’t get crazy amounts of snow with high winds. I don’t miss it, that’s for sure.
Me too! I remember the blizzard of '77
Excellent drone footage !!!!

This is like I’m watching those movies of the ice age or a ghost town where no one lives. Can you imagine what those poor homeless people are going through? There’s no way they could survive in this cold with this much snow.
Day after tomorrow . 😮
Wonderful !
The Day After Tomorrow, Merry Christmas!
Tesla sign looking like something out of apocalypse with the snow and ice covered letters lol.
With the weight of the ice, some of these houses will have suffered structural damage. In this kind of snow, you need tracked vehicles....
This is just unbelievable!!! EVERY time you upload a new WXCHASING video, I immediately stop what I'm doing and I click on your notification!!! Thx for the incredible footage!!!!

Buffalo and the surrounding area is paralyzed until further notice. Seems like there's power in some places.
The most powerful, high tech nation in the world can't defeat the snow i can't believe it!!.
Absolutely Love It. I've never really watched drone footage of the snowstorm aftermath. A different perspective from above. Thanks for Sharing. Blessings to ALL

Настоящая зима! Красиво. Главное чтобы все это не растаяла в один день. А то будет как в Москве потоп на дорогах.
Yes we have 3 days storm so now we have to wait 2 more days inside home so things can go back to normal.
Главное,чтобы вообще не растаяло.
Wow, this is cool! Lot of snow and ice out there. Stay safe during the holidays.
Amazing footage, im watching down in New Zealand(South Pacific) were its a beautiful mid summers day......just so opposite.
Canadians: Beautiful day, eh?
Do the people of Buffalo ever get tired of this? It’s like dealing with hurricanes every fall in Florida.
No. The last storm that was this bad was in 1977. Do the math.
This is the worst storm we've ever seen but we also got over 6 feet about a month ago as well. It's definitely getting old, and sad.
Florida don’t get Cat 5’s that often or even Cat 4
