More than one bug to be fixed. It's a universal feature of all software development today that testing is not done to any satisfactory standard. I was testing manager for many years for a multinational insurance company and testing was done both to prove expected outcomes AND regression testing to make sure new software didn't f*ck production results. Regression testing found MANY faulty upgrade submissions.
Hi, you probably right. Some better testing will prevent a lot of issues. The ones I found are not terrible, but saw in other devices/manufacturers more serious cases. Thanks for watching and your comment!

Hi! I just bought a 2C23T Chinese domestic version, and currently, the screen only shows Chinese. I need a firmware update to switch to English.
Thank you.
Hi, please join the FNIRSI Whatsapp support group (you have the QR code for that on their support page) and ask for it, I don't have it. Thank you for watching.
I seem to remember see on a budget selling website a multimeter with a good Thermal camera about £100.00 that is much cheaper that other thermal camera's of the same pixel density... this misses this option :)
Hi, I think you commented on the wrong device 😁 this is a Oscilloscope/Multimeter. Were you talking about the ET13S? Anyway, thanks so much for taking the time to share and for watching.
Hello, I really like your videos, I already used one of them to buy a device, your videos are always very educational, I would like to know if you tested the latest firmware? I would like to know if fnirsi fixed the problem with the inconsistent wave on both channels, when you tested with both channels active and using the same signal the trigger seemed not to work correctly. Greetings from Brazil
Would be nice to see a video where you present your favorite device.
Hi there, it was added to my todo list. Not sure when will be able to do it, but it's there and will make one. All time favorites or by category, ie. ex. oscilloscopes (all) or bench oscilloscopes and portable, all multimeters or bench multimeters, etc. Thanks for watching.
I just purchased it form AliExpress and waiting it to arrive soon
Hi, I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for watching.
Thanks, great review… I was excited to buy but need X/Y functionality on oscilloscope for audio tape head azimuth alignment 😔
Hi, take a look in FNIRSI DPOX180H, Zeeweii DSO3D12 or DSO2511G and Zoltek ZT703S if you want the same form factor or the brand new FNIRSI C253P for a more tabletish look. All of them have videos here in the channel to check it out. Thanks for watching!
I can not find an XY or scroll mode on mine. The website says "YT/Scroll/XY" display modes. I have emailed Fnirsi and will report back
Can you use this to look at the ac voltage on a 120 volt outlet with the oscilloscope mode/probes ?
Hi, you can, but you have to observe all the requirements needed to analyze high voltage signals, starting with the limit of the max voltage allowed in the probes, but 120v shouldn't be an issue. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for this video :-) I just received this meter by mail. Does anyone know what the max voltage is that I can feed into the oscilloscope? I want to check a stepper driver with 12 volts output.
I miss a temperature probe in the package as Zoyi ZT702S does have
Hi, I have one somewhere but didn't found it and was not able to test temp because of it, so, you're right. It's a cheap thing that can be included. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing
HI, my pleasure, glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching.
So, if you would need to choose one, would it be this FNIRSI, or recent Zeeweii DSO3D12?
Thank You!
Hi, DSO3D12 is a very nice device and it is in most specs superior to this one. The oscilloscope is 100Mhz and you have also more functions like cursors, XY mode and a few others. This one is more comparable to the Zoyi ZT702S. Thanks for watching.
@@TechCornerTV Thank You.
What's the long time for battery working ? because I thinking about that and other tablet oscilloscope
What would pick this The Zoyi 703 or the Zewei DSO3D12 ?
Hi, I'm still waiting for the ZT703S, when they send me one for review I can tell you better my opinion. Thanks for watching.
@@TechCornerTVwhat about between the fnirse zeweii and an owon hds242s?
Hello friend what is your opinion to choose best accuracy handheld oscilloscope fnirsi 2c23t or zoyi zt703s ? Which are more better with more function ? I need only best accurate handheld oscilloscope function only
Is the 10Mhz bandwidth sufficient for measuring mosfets of high frequency power inverters ?
Hi, never tested in that scenario, but those inverters have frequencies over 10Mhz?? AC in landline use 50/60Hz. Over 10Mhz, that's a very high frequency. Thanks for watching.
Thanks!
Hi, glad you liked, thanks for watching!
Can it be used on smpsu with primary hot ground??
Yes hence +- 400v max
Will this be good enough for automotive MAF sensor, CKP, CMP, ignition coil testing ?
Hi, I'm really not in the auto electronics or electrical operation, but for other users comments, I think it is. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and insights. Well noted.@@TechCornerTV
Does it have an XY mode?
Hello, this one doesn't have X-Y mode. Thanks for watching.
great job and good price
Hi Alvaro, I agree with you, well on the price part! The "great job" part, I will just thank you for your kind words and for watching the video.
Likely fine for hobbyists, no professional would use this.
As always on this channel
Hi Mike, I am hobbyist myself 😁 but not everyone can buy Fluke, so it's like you say. Thanks for watching.
@sergiotricarico Well to be fair, the target this channel are hobbyist like me. I know that a lot of engineers follow the channel but I try to showcase stuff that the regular Joe can also buy and use without having to sell a kidney. If it is professional grade, yeah, some stuff are quite nice, others are not. But again and as I always say, you get what you pay for 😁 thanks for watching, really appreciate your comment.
@cristian7477 Hi, can read spaninsh, but writting is a diffreent story 😁 I'm trying to get time for that. Will compare smaller oscilloscopes and those portables on a showdown. Receive two new ones this week and have to do a video on them first. Thanks for watching.
Does this instrument have an XY mode so you can connect an IV curve tester to it
Hello, this one doesn«t have XY mode, thanks for watching!
I appreciate your review. I was interested in this model originally, and it has a great looking display + features, but the 20mV vertical sensitivity of the oscilloscope is a real turn off. Other budget models have 10mV or better. :(
Hi Marty, yeah, I don't know why they did that, most of the oscilloscopes have a 10mV minimum. Again, I prefer 20mV accurate and serious, that 10mV announced that after will now work properly on that range. Thanks for watching.
Yes I’ve decided to buy this one thanks
Hi, I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for watching.
Hello dear, we can't measure 50MHz or 40MHz witn this meter?
Any answer please?
Hello, not with this one, is a 10Mhz oscilloscope. Take a look in the DPOX180H, is a very nice FNIRSI portable oscilloscope that goes up to 180Mhz (if I'm not wrong). Thanks for watching.
@@TechCornerTV oh no i bought thie device for mobile repairing and i asked from seller before purchasing either this device able to measure 50MHz or not. He sent me data sheet which i was not familiar. I thought Data rate 50MHz is the measuring range. 😔😔
Good video , but I don't see function AC measure power factor , very sorry?
Hi, thanks for the support and for watching!
sir,
thank you for good video
I would like set xy mode please
The Fnirsi website indicates YT/Scroll/XY display modes.
I can not find these settings on the device.
Any one know how to?
Muchas gracias, un video muy. completo

Is it possible to connect an amp clamp to this portable oscilloscope
Hi, sorry the late reply, trying to keep up with the comments, not easy. I think it is, I have here a few to test for oscilloscope and multimeter. When I have the time I will do a video with it. Thanks for watching.
Can ch1 and ch2 combine to work with a curve tracer component tester? Good price! I have the ET829 80Mhz 2ch with DMM and S/FG
Hi, I don't think so, I might be wrong, but I don't think you can use it as curve tracer. Thanks for watching!
can you use it to measure the canbus signal on the car?
Hi, sorry the late reply, trying to keep up with the comments, not easy. You can analyze it, so you can measure it, but you can not decode it. Thanks for watching.
Next up: integration of this device, their component tester and process calibrator and you'll be ready for on the go testing.
Hi, the swiss nife of the electronics lab... 😁 it will be cool if they manage to do it, but don't see it happening. Thanks for watching!
Maybe I missed it, but is the firmware updateable? 👍
Yes it is.

HI, if I understood correctly, you're asking if the beep is loud enough? If it is the question, yes it is. Thanks for watching.
Is it posible to measure 220V ac waveform?
Hello, yes. You need to use the probes on 10X. Thanks for watching.
Thanks.
So i assume that is posible on both channels in the same time?
can generat a signal and read the oscilloscope at the same time ?

Oh no 🤣 .. I tried to catch it the video so long ... but somehow did not find it ... thanks a lot 🙏👍
thanks alot for the reviow , i got one ^^ , can we calibrate the probe ?
I made low frequency square wave, trying to adjusted with the trimmer but nothing happening
I just found your channel. Great video and I subscribed. I'm from Portugal also and I would like to ask a question about pcbway: If I buy from pcbway, will I have do deal with customs? Or, like other big stores outside of the EU, does pcbway charge vat in advance and therefore I won't have to deal with customs? Thanks. Cheers!
Hi Bruno, welcome aboard! It was a long time the last time I had to pay for PCB's, but when I'm ordering, I always select a shipping method that has IOSS, that allow to declare the taxes on the source and not have to wait for customs release. But please inform yourself better, this is my experience. Thanks for watching and I hope to see you around 😁

Good device if possible to connect with laptop or desktop to bigger screen and test saving on hard disk

Does this scope calculate True RMS?
Hi, true rms is used on the voltage measuring on AC mode of the voltmeter, and yes it does have True RMS measuring. Thanks for watching.
@@TechCornerTV Yes, I know what True RMS is. Does it list any specs on it's RMS performance? I'm looking for something that can calculate True RMS on very much non-sinusoidal audio waveforms above 1khz.
Is this worth buying for automotive diagnosis
Hi Josh, personally I'm not familiar with automotive diagnosis, but for the comments I read from other viewers, I think you'll be alright with this device. thanks for watching.
How's the battery life after owning it a bit? My fluke needs a new battery every 6 months or so. I know this won't even be close, but I'd rather not lug a battery around with me everywhere I go in the chance it'll be dead at the job.
Hi, I have several multimeters and not always use this one, but for my experience you can have it like always ON easily for 4 to 5 hours. Thanks for watching.
my multimeter makes a clicking noise when connecting to a battery to check voltage. is this normal or there some issue. it works. but is the click something happens to you?
Hi, that should be the relay adjusting to the voltage range. Thanks for watching.
This is normal
Not the best scope but will be a great tool for a tester to save on space and do many measurements as you get a multimeter ( resistance capacitance voltage and current) Basic Dual Ch Scope 10Mhz and Signal Gen ( sine square saw half wave full wave noise and dc) all in one package. Only thing I found missing was that it doesnt show that it is charging or fully charged when turned off on charge.
I can't decide whether to buy the zeeweii dso3d12 or fnirsi 2c23 who is better?
Hi, I can't tell you what you should do, my videos give information so it will help on you decision, but I can't choose for you. @@TechCornerTV thanks for the reply, I unfortunately bought a hanmatek ho52 before seeing this review and the multimeter on that one is either crap or my mine is faulty from factory…
Good review, but... You got a free device, you got affiliated links, and you say you are not sponsored? What is your definition of a sponsorship for a UA-cam channel with 6.73K subscribers?
Hi, a free device is not sponsor, they have interest in the review to publicize the device, but this video is sponsored by PCBWay, the channel sponsor and those does contribute monetary for the channel. What bug? What turns off the movement cursor when turning off the signal generator?
Not impressed at all: A 3 V signal from its internal Waveform generator read as 3.21 Vpp.... Really ? For the rest, in oscilloscope mode, differences in frequencies of two signal of the same frequencies.... Really ? Fnirsi has deivered much better tools lately. I'll avoid this one !
