Could honestly be a decade-defining album. I can’t think of another album that has had 3 10/10 singles. I could easily see it being the best album of the 2020s
I was never a huge Make Them Suffer fan - nothing against them, always thought they were super talented, but it just didn't resonate with me. All three singles have been 10/10 for me, I can't wait for the full album. Glad to call myself a fan now.
The best "modern" metalcore band right now IMO. They're amongst the 10% (might even be less than that) that really found a way to make metalcore interesting again to many of us who've been listening to this genre for so long.
@@mprior93 I don't personally feel Bad Omens can be described as "metalcore" anymore. They always have that one heavier song on their last albums, but they're actually pretty hard to class in a specific genre. Silent Planet is an amazing band and one of my favorites, but I still think Make Them Suffer is more consistent. That's for me personally obviously. I don't speak for anyone else.
@@adecakaship2486 very fair observation. I was going to try and say Northlane or architects but they’ve fallen out of the genre recently. Polaris does still come to mind they have to be top 5 with that last record
@@mprior93 I'll be honest, I wasn't that impressed with the new Polaris. They're really good at what they do, but it's more of the same to me personally. They sure are amongst the best metalcore bands out there tho. Northlane and Architects sure were top metalcore artists back in the days. They're also harder to put in one single genre now.
Agree 100%. I did really dig the new silent planet album. Erra, Periphery and Invent Animate are all killing it too albeit more in the prog metalcore genre. Two others I can’t get enough of are thrown and Alpha Wolf at the moment.
I think the visual Motif of the last few videos may point more toward a return to Concept Album actually, This could easily be using visual story telling to nod to their interconnectivity and since we lack the full album we dont know if its *not* a nod to a larger narrative theme.
Seen these guys live in 2018 at Manchester in a small bar called Rebellion, Sean is such a humble dude. Love these guys so much and they never disappoint. Cant wait for the new album 😍
Wow, there are so much production and little easter egg musicals that really help repeated listen. Such a banger. Make Them Suffer is one of the best bands in the scene. They really peaked. Always love alax in her previous bands but she really improved here
Epitaph, but I love them all. This song never went where I thought it would, but looking back also didn't try too hard to be weird or proggy. It's a fine balance.
I'm a fan, loved the last album and all the previous singles before this one. But I have to say, this one just seems a little by the numbers Make Them Suffer. Clearly judging by the comments that's a hot take, but after listening a couple times that's just how I feel. It doesn't suck and I'm still looking forward to the album, but hoping for some variety on the album.
Me too, it's not Ghost of me and kinda basic sounding when it gets going to me which is a real shame because the buildup is good! In the end it just felt kinda flat.
This is a bold statement with Knocked Loose and Spiritbox out there as well but I don't care; MOST CONSISTENT AND EXCITING BAND IN ALL OF METAL RIGHT NOW, the album is gonna be insane 🔥
Its cool but a problem with MTS for me is I listen to their songs for like a month then just get bored of it and end up starting to skip it. Anyone else feel the same?
Yo Birb, quick thing (no hate, just something to think about), when you decide to speak while the song is playing, it might be good to either put subtitles on the vid or make it so your voice is a bit more forward in the mix, I honestly only heard mumbling while you spoke and the song was playing! Still, banger vid my guy!
imma be the black sheep in all that hype... to me its just ight. Not a bad song whatsover, but good lord it is generic. With the addition of Alex, there's so many options and ideas possible man... they choose to do boring verse-chorus-verse-chorus-breakdown-chorus predictable stuff... Is it catchy ? ye sure Verse are heavy ? ye sure But to me the three last singles are easily their weakest music ever. Lacking in writing. I know they'll never top Neverbloom or create music like that album again, but their other albums are great too. They were more creative than these singles. just my opinion but ready for the rocks lol
I love Metal music. But I find it funny every time there’s clean singing… The people who only like the heaviest of things start checking out. Like if the singer doesn’t sound like Cookie Monster for 10 seconds then people just check out. Melody is a good thing, kids. 😊
I'm 100% on board with Alex but god damn this band is so bad at making choruses cohesive with the rest of the songs. Shoehorned af every time. Their last album was so guilty of that.
1) "catchy as hell" - I don't remember any of their songs since the last album. 3) "adding so much character to their music and identity" - cannot agree with this. IMHO they're becoming more and more generic nu-metalcore band 4) IMHO bandplays cannot be interesting
I'm sure there's plenty of bands that you listen to that are generic and not memorable. You sound like someone who thinks very highly of their own opinion.
Epitaph or Doomswitch or Ghost Of Me?
Ghost of Me, but all 3 are amazing!
Yes
It goes Doomswitch, Epitaph, Ghost of Me, for me. Doomswitch is the goated Make them Suffer song, in my opinion.
Doomswitch > Epitaph > Ghost Of Me but loving all 3 so far
Doomswitch is 1 for me. Not sure where this one will go but it's a grower for me where the other two were instant bangers.
Their next album is gonna be an all timer. I can feel it.

definitely my most anticipated album this year, bangers from all 3 songs so far
100%
you mean most anticipated next single for next year?
@@badorni69 in 7 years we'll have an album 💀🙌
Seeing a hometown band featured on the Birb fills me with pride 🇦🇺
Alex’s vocals are so dreamy and compliment Sean’s brutalness.
So excited for the next album. The three singles have been dope.

My favorite band in the whole world right now! I need this album now
Man they set the bar so damn high for modern metalcore. Absolute banger.
MTS and Loathe are definitely my most anticipated albums this year that have yet to be revealed!!
They just don’t miss!! They’ve cracked the code of modern metalcore perfection.
This is freaking sickkkkk, WE NEED THE ALBUM ASAP!! 🤘
My favorite band making another banger as expected, love to see it!
I knew my boy would be early, appreciate the timeliness! ❤ but seriously, cannot wait for the new album
Saw them back in September on the monsters of Oz tour... going to see them again with ERRA in a few weeks!
The Monsters of Oz tour was so sick!! I got dropped crowd surfing during MTS then went back up for Amity Affliction with no issues hahaha
I'm catching them in June w/ Erra as well, plus Void Of Vision and Novelists. It's gonna be lit 🔥

They perfected their sound, so distinct for metalcore. The songwriting is so good too, masters of their craft!
Absolutely no time is wasted in this song. Incredible.

Fucking love this band!!!
Seeing them Friday with bmth and sleep token. Man what a line up this will be.
Make The Suffer always gives me goosebumps when I hear new tracks. The lips on that gal tho... they're the real mvp 😸😸😻
This song is fucking banger & i love the electronic sound with creepy synth and the chorus so catchy i love this song so much 🤘🔥🔥🔥
Adding in the electronics always brings out technobirb 😂

Knocked loose is sick, but the vocals just dont compare
I personally think the singles keep getting better. Doomswitch
I don't know, I love this one but ghost of me and doomswitch hit me differently. This one just isn't as powerful.
I was thinking recently about them , like “when is MTS gonna drop the next song of the year for 2024”?
Vocals in this band are top tier. Bar set.
"They came in chariots." Are they talking about the Anunakki?!? Sounds like the perfect day to release a song at the end of the world!!!!
Fuck me… I was accidentally listening to this whole vid on 1.25x without realizing.
Give it a try. It slaps.
They need drop album already and stop tease our ball

Yeah I like to have the music loud purposely but maybe I should lower it… even though I’m just mostly saying Oh and OoO hahaha
❤
i still listen the album before this one.
NEW MTS!!!
Make them suffer has made 100% 10/10 bangers since Worlds Apart

i think sean's vocal mix kinda burried on this one 👀
had the same impression, you can barely understand him
Yo birb😉🤟 love all u do but where's the Like Moths To Flames "Dissociative" reaction tho😏
*dissociative being

They just convince themselves they dont like variety. Deep down they like it but they have to act hard and say they don't.
First
Not vibing the prime position poppy chorus, much prefer the backing cleans like on the Worlds Apart album.
Pros 1, 3 & 3 lol

Not the biggest fan of this, the mixing is a bit choatic aswell. Doomswitch is the best ive heard from them
