Alex really brings a lot to the band. Honestly this is one of their top tracks for me. Such a cool refreshing breakdown.
It feels like Make Them Suffer but like always, they're still experimenting.
Spicy Banger!
This is literally their final form lmao alex is a perfect addition to the band🙂 she's amazing the transition into her vocals just sounds more natural
my thoughts exactly, they feel complete now. No shade on Booka but alexs' voice fits alot better.
I didn’t even know they changed female vocals again..
@@jw4792 the last one had sexual allegations against her
Holy fuck is she ever. Loved Drown This City and was a bit sad when they split but I'm so hyped I'll still get to hear more of Alex at least
@@SoulSlave92 her voice blends in with the music well. Booka was more of a contrast to the harsh vocals. Alex blends better. It’s a preference really.
They’re definitely showing that they’re not afraid to experiment, and Alex’s screams definitely add an amazingly unique touch to the song
Bringing back the winter hat! Let's gooooo 🤘🔥 banging song.
Ohhh now this is good. As someone who has been listening since Neverbloom. The progression of this band is just top tier. Can’t wait for the album.
Since you say that, you prefer their deathcore sound or metalcore sound?
I absolutely love all their albums, but I do wish that they stayed with the Neverbloom sound for just one more album
@@jdizzleh3 Lord Of Woe, and Neverbloom we’re two huge monumental albums for the time. Old Souls was a great mix of the newer sound plus Neverbloom. The direction they have taken has been the right path for sure.
Neverbloom was soooo damn good
I like her. Her vocals don’t take me out of the song like how Contraband did. One of my fav metalcore bands rn for sure
Yeah, her vocals do blend in well with the music. Previous female singer provided more of a contrast to the harsh vocals. Both are good, it’s just a matter of preference really.
That chorus brings tears to my eyes it's so fucking good
This song was an absolute BANGER. Alex's vocals are so awesome and she fits the band perfectly! Definitely looking forward to more new MTS music and wishing I could see them on tour with Bad Omens.
As for favorite AUS bands, I have to say Make Them Suffer, Patient Sixty-Seven, and Northlane.
I'll be posting videos of the Bad Omens tour, 2 fantastic bands gracing areas close to me!
Polaris and Void of Vision are good Aussie bands too
@@Jfan4eva2 yeah, I jam Polaris a lot too 🤘🏾 honestly, Australia just owns metalcore right now
Oh yeahh, northlane I love this band too
Dont forget Saviour.
I was not expecting the harsh vocals from Alex, and I love how MTS makes these granular changes to their rifts and vocals. It keeps things refreshing. I wonder if the similarities to Contraband was on purpose to show that Alex can sing those old songs as well.
Make Them Suffer never miss man, and now with Alex they have the new element of her harsh vocals, this is an era of MTS that i'm so damn excited for. and as a side note, riffy breakdowns are the best breakdowns, i love low and slow but if you can catch me with a hooky riff, that's way bigger for me
I didnt like her vocals when she came into the chorus for about 2 seconds and then I realized I had goosebumps and it sounded amazing lol
Huge song. These guys never fail to impress.
Make them suffer is on fire!!!
Polaris is probably my favorite Australian band!
Polaris and Make Them Suffer are absolute top tier
Favorite Australian band has to be Make Them Suffer or Alpha Wolf, can never go wrong with those two
Aussies drop some heat Polaris too
@@Tigerjunky93 hell yeah they do, Polaris fucks
Great reaction man, glad to see Make Them Suffer continuing to put out great stuff.
Solid track! Their songwriting always be on point, love the electronics too. Preferred Contraband personally but they have potential with this new vocalist for sure especially with the harsh vocals too. So many great Australian bands, hard to pick but recently Reliqa is killing it!
Check out Thornhill and Caligulas Horse.
They are my 2 fave aussie bands
You came up with a new short slang word! Soamy.... (so many) ha ha
@@Strike1stCobraKaiTV hahaha ooooops
@@zerozeeros big fan of Thornhills new album , saw them live recently and they were incredible, arguably one upped Alpha Wolf and Erra haha. I'd have to give Caligula's Horse another try!
@@zerozeeros Thorn Hill are amazing
Absolutely love this song, and Alex is a hell of a good addition to the band. Great video, Birb!
Love this so much 🖤
I'm all for this new chapter of MTS. Alex was great in Drown This City and she is a good addition to Make Them Suffer. This track is insane and has everything I love from MTS in one song. Also, certain parts of the riffs remind me of Contraband. Nick be killing it!
This song slaps so hard. I love it!! Make them suffer has easily become one of my favorite metalcore bands. And the addition of Alex is just chefs kiss!!!
Seeing them tonight! I’m so excited
Finally here! Let's do this bro
I loved Drown This City and Alex did not disappoint here. Can't wait to hear more.
My favorite Australian band is Make Them Suffer. Honorable mentions to: Parkway Drive, Mesarthim, Nocturnal Graves.
Since Alex was named as replacement I was hoping they’d use her screams as well, having duelling screamers is just game changing for their dynamic 🔥🔥🔥
They were fuuuucking amazing live!!!
One of the greatest songs out there right now. It sounds phenomenal! That opening riff is sick 🎧🙏
Hell yeah man! Make them suffer is fucking rad, can't wait for to see them in Toronto next month! So hyped for that entire line up! 🤘🤘🤘
I predict some of the new tracks will have Alex take lead vocals. That would be pretty sick
I'm sure this'll be part of their set this upcoming tour and I can't wait to see it live!! Going in early November to see them at the Masqurade.
Also can we talk about how snazzy Sean is looking in this video, or is that just me?
As I said on Rach's vid, oml this song fuuuucks. Sean is top of his game, the addition of Alex's uncleans, those guitar leads, the synth in the breakdown, the timing change into the second breakdown and another at the end. Damn. I cannot wait to see where this progresses. Likely to be one of my faves of 2023 (when/if there's an announce). There isn't much more I can say that you and others haven't already said, so I'm gonna leave it at that. Also I went back and listened to Drown This City, and I have no doubt she'll be an excellent addition to MTS.
Honestly? My favorite Aussie band is Karnivool. They've got such a vibey atmosphere to what they do and I'm super into it. Their album Sound Awake is a definite must listen for anyone who might be into proggy nu-metal/rock type stuff. They often get compared to Tool (I honestly don't hear it..) but yall might. I highly recommend checking out "We Are" (if you only listen to one, make it this one), "New Day" and "Simple Boy".
This song was an assault from start to finish. What an amazing song. It was my most listened to track of last month. Can't wait for the album!
Oh my this song is incredible
Alex is an AMAZING addition to the band. Gorgeous woman too.
So sick! Loving this band. So happy I get to see them with bad omens
As far as favorite Australian metalcore band, alpha wolf. Easily
I saw them play this live on Friday, fucking sick
Great song and a good review! Also Twelve Foot Ninja rules
Alright, that was sick 🔥
Goosebumps
The slowing down at the end reminded me of spirit box constance.
"Give me them noodles, man!" sums up that riff perfectly.
2022 has been the year for bangers
I get carbonized vibes from the melody in the chorus
Whilst I'm happy to see Alex joining MTS, still a little devastated that Drown This City called it quits. They were one of the best up and coming metalcore bands in Australia on the verge of blowing up. But stoked that Alex brings a whole new element to MTS.
As for Fav Australian band...MTS, Polaris, Alphawolf, Buried in Verona (RIP) and Parkway
I mean yea they probably are my favorite Australian band at the moment lol and I’m so happy they used Alex’s screams. I was rly hoping they would and I wasn’t disappointed.
That electronic in the background makes me sweat. LOVE IT. THis might be song of the year for me so far.
This song is a fucking banger, love the fact she growls too!!!
P.S For Aussie bands I gotta say Ne Obliviscaris, keep up the good work Birb!
thumbs up for Ne Obliviscaris, they're amazing!
I’m just happy. Happy for us and for them.
Favorite aussie metalcore band has to be parkway 100%. Listened to em evolve since 2005, love em. Definitely adding these guys to my playlist though🤘🤘🤘banger
Damn what a track!! MTS are finally back ❤️
I like it so much that she does screams as well overall a 10/10 track. Mts never disappoint me^^
Love this song, I was wondering why it was so easy on the ears.. like I could catch onto the song pretty well and it felt comfortable listening to it like I already heard it before. YES, awfully similar to Contraband, but that won’t be an issue.
Fav Aussie bands gotta be make them suffer, the amity affliction and northlane!
Solid song. ❤️🔥
I dig this song! I never got into MTS before Contraband, so that being said, I like where they’re going. My favorite Aussie band is not a metal band, but a pop punk one called Yours Truly.
Above, Below needs some love! The Sowers of Discord is an absolute banger of an EP
And this is the perfect way to make a comeback with a new member. Fantastic song
Reminds me of a spicier World's Apart - I can hear it with the tone.
Australia. That's a difficult one. There's Make Them Suffer, Above Below, To The Grave, Polaris, Reliqa, Thy Art Is Murder, Saviour...
But honestly, as a guitarist I'll go with Plini.
Contraband was one of my favorite songs from last year. Now this one is also one of the best songs of this year. Alex is a great replacement as you said tho!
Taking some influence from Car Bomb I see at the end with all the PEW PEW PEW
OMG this song is a masterpiece!
She fits right into the band, alex has a keytar
While It was unfortunate to see Drown this city die, Alex is such a great addition to the band. Plus great to hear her screens again. Really looking forward to seeing what a new record will look like. Plus, I am hoping for a UK tour. Still sad about the 2020 cancelled gig
Not available on iTunes yet! I was ready to download immediately
This song is really good. Maybe because Contraband was that awesome we search the similarites.
My fav australien band might be As Silence Breaks. Their self-titled album from 2009 is still running almost daily.
all hail MTS. so glad theyre back
track of the YEAR 🔥🤘🏽
actual gold
This is easily my favorite song from MTS since Contraband. Loved all of the dynamics that Alex and Sean brought to the table together. I would say my favorite Australian bands currently are: Void of Vision, Make Them Suffer, Reliqa, and Thornhill to name a few. They are all killing it right now, especially Reliqa. (Thank you for giving them exposure, btw.) ❤
...this is their first song since Contraband but I definitely agree with whatever you said
"Greymatter" VOV and Thornhill are amazing plus Thornhill are in the same city where I live down in Australia. I'd also add RedHook, Vatic, Outloved, Terra, Thy Art Is Murder, Stand Atlantic (Although f.e.a.r was disappointing, too overproduced and pandered to the MGK Pop Punk with Trap beats hot take btw), Yours Truly, Saviour, Parkway Drive, Polaris and Northlane with them for current Australian bands
That breakdown is like if Enter Shikari decided to go deathcore
when the guitarist is rocking perscription Oakleys in the video, you know the riffs are about to be HEAT
Australian metalcore is a different breed. I'm obsessed with this track.
When you mentioned that it sounded like a Star Wars battle, I lost my shit. Lol. Fucking hilarious.
Wanted to see these guys live so bad on the bad omens tour!! Can’t wait to hear more of her harsh vocals woth Sean’s!
4:05 love that spooky synch
Oooh this has that BOUNCE
This takes me back to Fireworks days, and I love that.
Have to check out the new Tallah song For The Recognition \m/
Fucking love these guys so much, she's perfect
nice hair 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Favorite Aussie band is Twelve Foot Ninja
I'm loving the new member. She's so good.
The ending is supreme.
Fav Aussie band def MTS!
I'm happy haha i feel
Band is top tier man. Their recent singles are just TOO good.
My top Australian top 4:
4. Dream on Dreamer
3. Savior
2. Alpha Wolf
1. The Drive Home
Make them Suffer and Oceans Ate Alaska are my two favorite aussie bands. Both just SO good
Great band but oceans ate Alaska are British
@@fehbing7997 ah true I for some reason thought they were Aussie then probably parkway the old parkway not the new radio rock parkway
"give me the those noodles" a top 10 Metalbirb quote of the year
jokes aside this song was super sick in everyway the riffage throughout and she is an amazing addition to the band, plus 10 points for the tempo change too
This is single of the year for me. Absolutely blown away by this
Favorite Australian bands: Karnivool and Ne Obliviscaris:)
Alpha Wolf, Diamond COnstruct and Make Them Suffer are easily my fav AUS bands right now.
Can’t wait to see them in a couple of months with bad omens this song is going to slap live. Alex is definitely a breath of fresh air and a lot stronger vocally than booka. Can’t wait to see what’s coming over the next year from these guys
Aussie metal is the best 😊
One con is that it’s a little formulaic but it depends on you if it’s good or bad. Overall it’s a really good song
Such an amazing banger!!! you should check out The Daily Chase - Lotusland you won't be disappointed there an Australian metalcore band making some truly exceptional music
Don’t look back Nothing MORE is top 3 songs from them best new song on the album. Check it out
so many bands with new female keyboardists killing it, like with recent earth caller, it just works, she sounds very good in this song especially with the harsh vocals
I guess Parkway drive would be my favorite but I think this might be set song of the year. It was everything I wanted out of a song 🤘
Drown This City was a dope band. Alex definitely fits this band
Amazing track! I noticed that the chorus sound similar to northlane carbonized xd but anyway Is a great baanger!
