Well, sounds like the best place to buy some, but as a new stacker, i dont buy overinflated Gold & Silver, from people who have been stealing from my people, the last 500 years, always BUY the LOWEST priced precious metals, we the people will prevail , maybe not in my lifetime, but atleast in Little Stacks future, thats a sacrifice, i am willing to make, so his future kids, wont struggle with foodprices, Gasprices, and a dumb Gouvement 😁

I've become friendly with one of my bank tellers and she will set aside all 40 and 90% halfs for me and sometimes dimes and quarters but I buy them all for face value no premiums just even trade. It's not a lot maybe a few halfs every couple weeks but it has added up real fast over the past year.

I refuse to take part in this push for a cashless society. If they don’t accept cash as a method of payment then they don’t get my business. It can be a pain at times but at least I get a feel good factor when I leave the goods at the counter and tell them why I’m not buying
I'm Belgian. Reason they don't accept cash in Spa at the circuit is because of efficiency (rules by FIA) , not because people wouldn't accept it. When you order something in the village of Spa or anywhere else, cash is accepted for now, a 100%. The fact that you're only allowed to drink the famous Dutch toilet water called Heineken, is because they're a sponsor of FIA. Drinking Heineken in Belgium is like ordering pizza in Zimbabwe....
Then you will be purchasing from the black market or bartering

I have thought long and hard about taking money out of an IRA to buy physical gold, but that 30% tax by the IRS is rough. I did transfer IRA into a Trust to purchase Gold that is stored in a depository about a three hour drive away in rural Texas. Not the same as holding it in my hand, but no 30% tax hit. I have my three-digit physical stack of silver and single-digit stack of gold. I have some Constitutional quarters ordered and waiting to be shipped.

Glad to see people are waking up to the need to be your own central bank. I tried for over a decade to get family to buy, but no chance. I gifted each Generation Z nephew and niece physical silver over the years. Maybe the idea of stacking has been ingrained in them. It’s too early to tell, but the world they are inheriting will be full of perils.

Holding a one ounce gold coin changes your life. The hefty weight of gold really puts our fiat currency into perspective. This rings true for silver as well.
I just started stacking, and only have a few ounces of silver so far. Even that amount of weight in my hand feels great, though. 😁

The problem is they can keep printing for years to come. There is no way they can pay back the present debt, so $65 trillion in debt is no different to $45 trillion in debt to them.

I never get tired of watching, and listening to the two of you. I only wish I lived closer so I could spend some time in the coin shop. When Tim made the comparison of the cost of that Volkswagen and what that same amount of money will buy today, it's scary. I recall buying a 77 Plymouth Volare. Base model, slant six, automatic, power steering, am radio, and ac. It was $3800, and change. That's the down payment today. That was a really nice little grocery getter, and comfortable enough to take a trip in.

I went to the bank (WF) years ago to buy gold bullion, and the only thing they were interested in selling to me was gold ETFs. Well, I already knew what gold ETFs were. I knew it wasn’t gold bullion so I told him to shove it up…
My German bank did for decades, but some new manager changed all that. Now I buy from online dealers here. Still no tax on gold, but there’s up to 19% sales tax on silver depending on the type (bar vs. coin). Limit used to be €10k for anonymous purchases, but because of “money laundering and terror financing “ they cut that to €2k!

@@go4it129 Yes, for silver bars. Silver coins are somewhat less, but with premiums your up around 30% and up for new sovereigns, with luck 25%-27% for resale. Why? Who knows. Unlike the US, it makes little sense buying bars at all. Crazy. Problem for the industry here is also the popularity for gold over 1oz. has dropped because of the KYC rule over €2k.
In België and Holland you pay less vat tax only vat tax over the dealers margin.

Back here In new Zealand we also have the ridiculous $ 10000.00 cash limit, As long as you are under even by 1 cent your good to go, if you want to go more spread it over different days.

Banks in Canada sell and buy gold and silver bullion. You can drop into your local bank branch and place you order, pay for it and have it delivered to your home or branch which could take less than 7 working days. ( My order took 4 days)
Pretty soon you will need to rename these posts the Yankee/Tim show. I have never seen a post I didn't enjoy. Just like this one. Touring overseas with Tim at point would be great. As usual these visits with Tim are a rewarding time. See you next post and have a great weekend my dear friend.

Interesting watching your video awhile now and the one thing I noticed is that they trust Tim. Even when some drive a great distance. People are scarred they want to be sure of what they are buying. Can't blame them. There is a lesson here.

@@-bro7453 silver prices go up like food and cars , so it will be worth more in many many years and probably not depreciate like a car. Its not a bad thing to own, but there a better investments. Its just not used in the mainstream for goods and services.... But if you own 10,000 OZ, 25 years from now it will have more value. Stocks will do better, they compound.

With gold bullion, my two favorites are the gold Buffalo and the Mexican 50 Peso. Yankee, I never miss a video, just love Tim, and would love to visit you two in Tim's coin shop but Alaska is so far away.

Great hearing the insight from actual dealers, who have that 'first hand knowledge' on what is/isn't selling and what's being brought in to sell.
I still see spot as nothing more than a means of seeing how strong or weak the dollar is. Of course, the supplies may be difficult to get now and then, but what I do worry about is when people begin to panic buy or sell. That's where Tim and other dealers come into play - pointing out when people start to panic buy/sell. I just need to make sure I can keep up with all the great information Tim and the other dealers make available through channels such as Yankee Stacking.

Once upon a time I was a policeman. The most tempting target on my beat was a large pawn shop. It was protected by an alarm system and metal bars outside. I worked 2300-0700 with Sunday and Monday off. Early Monday morning a professional burglary team came. They entered through the roof. The safe was must have been child's play for them. My best advice is to act like you're on a team's plan of action and update your safe and other security.
That team knew my off day. Knew the safe and probably trained on a duplicate. Studied the alarm system, etc.

I've never seen anybody selling precious metals at the racetrack, good for you Tim.
It's very simple. Every time they raise rates, it pushes gold/silver down. It's not until the FED pauses and/or reverses will goal/silver take off.
It is simple. Dollar and PMs are inversely coordinated. Stacking is simply a bet against our currency.
Interest hikes prop the dollar up

CIBC in Canada Herr sells gold bullion. Maples. Higher cost than I can get it where I normally do but they do sell it.
I’m hearing that Canadian banks do it, but not much in the US.

It was quite a kick standing in line at Tim’s store and meeting so many wonderful people. Everyone should experience this at least once in their lives. I’m hoping to run into Yankee at my next visit. For me, it was sort of like a religious experience. And hard to believe, but the handsome Tim is even better looking in person (and very warm, too). 🤭
P.S. If I was his GF, I would buy him a very expensive Italian shirt that was any color but blue. 😉

The buffalo nickel is my favorite coin. I was born here in New Hampshire In 1959. Around the time I was 8-10 years old, I would take my $0.25 allowance and head to the corner store to buy some candy and a Coke. The local corner store had a candy rack, eye level for a ten-year-old, that seemed to have every flavor imaginable. And all the candy was made from real ingredients. Chocolate, licorice, Taffy, gumdrops you name it. I would give the man a quarter and I would leave with a frosty cold bottle of Coke and a bag of real candy that would last me a couple of days and it was a welcome surprise to find a buffalo nickel in my change.

I called Bill about the safes. Sounds like if you are pretty far away they'll still deliver but the prices for delivery can get pretty high. Might have to see what a closer Liberty dealer charges

I was also in the F1 grand prix... It was really fun. The prices were really high but I can tell you that usually is the case of F1, which I have been attending since 20 years ago. Prices x2 or x3 common prices.

RBC up here in Canazuela has a bullion purchase program available. I went in to discuss this option but, the associate was pretty much clueless about the program and the process. They only had Gold and Silver Maples available

If your not happy with rbc. I have been buying PM from cibc for ten years. They have gold, and silver, in bars and coins. You can purchase any amount, there is no tax or shipping charges. They will send it to your nearest branch for pick up, usually within 48 hours.

Swiss viewer here. Most banks in Switzerland still sell Gold, Silver and Platinum over the counter. However, many have some rather weird rules. Some only sell to you if you have an account with them. Others do sell to everyone, but you have to give your information. Having said that, you are likely to find one near you that will simply sell you the stuff without asking any questions, unless the total purchase value isn't over CHF 10'000. It's good for occasional buyers. However...most professional stackers prefer their local coin dealer.
That magic 10,000 number...same in canada...go over 10 and you set off the alarm bells

Yup here as well. You go above CHF 10'000 per year...you get reported. In Switzerland, the solution is pretty simple though. You go to different coin dealers and buy below CHF 10'000. Leave enough time for them to forget you and you can even buy from the same one above CHF 10'000 per year. Sometimes my favourite dealers might even forget me on purpose...though I can't be sure.
2 years….man the way things look be lucky to ride out the next 2 years without taking a lot of damage.
