I guess in my case I was lucky as I too had a no start issue with a 2012 S60 Volvo. AAA came out twice and confirmed three year old battery was fine and so was the alternator. They too pointed to a bad starter but I went the cheap route first and replaced the battery in the KEY FOB. Presto, the car started…problem gone!
